Yest And b4 I would click on my vids or other vids and it would say play in a device that supports flash, or sometin like that.Today I clicked on my vid and the screen went black, I thought the iPad was gonna freeze then the vid restarted in full screen and it looks like it's QuickTime that is running it..Wow, this is cool, not quite flash but at least vids play, hopefully they will do this with all sites where vids need flash to play
On the iPad can you go into Facebook and play the games because I know we can't from my iPod Touch. I can download apps of certain games which sends the scores to Facebook but I was just wondering if you can play the games directly when logged into Facebook on the iPad.
I recently bought an iPad 2, main purpose to watch videos and surfing net on it. Either from Facebook/YouTube etc. YouTube video works fine for me, however Facebook video doesn't. Whenever I go to the video page, there are no control whatsoever on the video, even after I refresh many times.
I had actually found a way to play the video which is to click on "View in Regular Quality", where a play button will appear on the video somehow, and then clicking on the HD button on the bottom-right corner, BUT, I can't make it full screen(no full-screen icon) which is really annoying.
I own a iPhone 4 too, which plays Facebook video without any problems. It will auto go into full screen when I press the play button, but somehow iPad don't!
Thinking of buying apple ipad2 but someone said you cannot play Facebook games on them is this true I play gardens of time and someone said I wouldn't be able to play this on iPad 2
wanting to know if its really worth it?i mean $700 and $829 for a 64 gb? my ipod bigger then that..it seems not worth it with such little storage..i mean for the price..i mean they're really cool and the in thing to have..also i would like to know can these play flash?or is it really just like a huge ipod touch or iphone?what makes it different from those?
Ive become addicted to a game on facebook and it uses flash so ive been using my macbook alot more. I want to know can frash play facebook games? My iPad is already
I made some short business videos , put them on Facebook and the play fine on my PC and htc smart phone but my new I pad 3 did not play the videos. why?
I'm having no trouble playing videos from Facebook on my iP4 running IOS 4.3.Now that that is out of the way, why can't I play videos from Facebook in Safari on the iPad? It has worked in the past, but I can't figure out why it isn't working now. I thought updating to IOS 4.3 might help things, but it made no difference. I get a still image, but no play controls. I tried turning off the pop-up blocker, but that made no difference. I tried clearing the cache, clearing the cookies, rebooting, etc., etc. all to no avail.
I visit GiantBomb and Tested.com all the time, and they're both very important to me. I know GiantBomb has an iPhone app but it hasn't been updated in over a year and the video quality was terrible to begin with.
So basically I really need to be able to view their Flash videos on the iPad. Is there some kind of a trick or a website I can go to view/convert any flash video into HTML5?
Won't Use Flash / Can't Play Videos On BBC Website
Feb 11, 2010
I know there are some things that do need Flash and I agree the iPad just wont work. I've been thinking since the announcement should I get one, the only thing stopping me is the lack of Flash.
So for the past week I've disabled Flash on my Macbook to see how I get on, and I've got to be honest for me, I don't think I'll miss it that much. The only real issue would be playing news videos on the BBC website.
One positive thing about not having Flash, is the majority of these annoying moving and flashing adverts go, sure you still get adds, but there just jpg or simple gif, that must be a good enouth reason to disable Flash
So if your not sure, disable Flash for a week and see how you get on. If you find a site or activity that doesn't work then check the App store there maybe an App for it.
You CAN play Flash on an iPad via LogMeIn Ignition.
"Your iPad or iPhone has its limits with storage and capabilities. But with Ignition, you can get to your entire photo library, view multimedia files and even play Flash-based games. Your virtual garden will thank you."

I am thinking of buying an iPad2. This will be usefull for me as I have invested money in buying some training videos that are all in flash swf. So using the iPad2 while on the go could be usefull to watch these.
However, I am not sure if the iPad2 can play the flash swf. Someone told me at work that flash is not supported by Apple.
I was on [url](for those of you who don't know what newgrounds.com is, it's an awesome site with a lot of cool games on it) today and I was unable to play some of my favourite games. I would like to know if there is some sort of app that allows you to play flash games on the iPad? Or is there any thing else I can install that will let me play flash games. I know Skyfire let's you watch flash videos, but I tried it and it didn't work for flash games. I'm not intirely sure if they're called flash games, but I would like to play the games on [url] is there any way I can do that?
