This accessory may not be supported showing up on my iPad Air. I bought lightning 30 pin adapter nine month ago. My relatives are having the same problem with their iPads says not chargining and this accessory may not be supported.
I bought a shiny new iPad 3rd Gen, and am having difficulties with my existing Apple HDMI Adapter, which, apart from the "This accessory is not supported" popup, will not charge the device even when being plugged to an iPad Power Adapter.
So, I have this brand new iPad, with this new brand new VGA Adapter , but, doesnt matter which program I try to use it and on which monitor, tv, projector, etc, I plug it, it gives me the "This accessory is not supported by ipad." message.
The message only appear when the cable would be really used, so I need to open an youtube video on the youtube app to see the message. On some monitors (like a Dell 17" LCD Monitor) it just dont show any image, nor the message.
On an older CRT monitor it shows the not supported message and no image, on an Dell projector it shows the message too and no image again, on a panasonic bravia LCD tv it doesnt show either the message or the image on the tv screen. http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC552ZM/A#overview
The iPad is released tonight in Sweden all of the carriers have presented information about their 3G dataplans. The carrier "3" are offering a plan "with up to 16 mbit/sec" but does the iPad support this? Apple only states "up to 7,2 mbit/sec" in the tech specs.
I recently bought an ipad in the UK from ebay (seller said it was a uk version)and a 3g card from apple for three pay as you go. When installing the sim and connecting to itunes it says sim card not supported. Anyone else had the same problem. I get pup ups in itunes about unable to update carrier settings but not sure if its just because it doesnt recognise the sim card. I have tried a factory reset with no luck. I have concluded either the sim card is broken (I doubt it) or the ipad is a foreign version. Even if it is it should still work as I belive there are no carrier locked iphones apart from the CDMA versions
I'm confused, any information appreciated. Will the new AirPrint in the upcoming iPad IOS 4.2 support all network connected printers? If some are excluded, does anyone know which those are? Also, is it correct that some HP printers won't even need to be network connected to print via AirPlay?
If only they had put a webcam in it, I would have bought an iPad for me and each member of my family. Till the day comes with a webcam in it, I won't be purchasing one. It's nice to see it may be planned for the future though:
Are SDXC cards still not supported under iOS 4.2.1? Placing an SDXC card in the iPad photo adapter results in a damaged media message. Same thing if I plug the Sony A55 camera into the USB camera adapter card.
I discovered to my delight that they are now supported on Mac OS X 10.6.5.
Information: iPad 3G iOS 4 Apple Camera Adapter(s), SDXC card
The Ipad keeps giving us an error message stating, "Charging is not supported by this accessory." It is the same charger cable that we have been using the ENTIRE time and it charged fine. Now we've tried 2 different cables, plugged into 2 different adapters, and plugging it into the computer, and we get the error message on every single one. Why would it just stop working all of a sudden?
