View 2 RepliesUsing netflix streaming while docked on a iHome id3 speaker system, only the sound is coming through, no video. Removing the iPad from the dock immediately allows the video to work, but obviously without the sound system?

My iPad 2 will not increase the sound to an audible level on an IHome Bluetooth speaker. It works fine on my 5S phone. I've turned off the iPad and done a hard reset with no change. The speaker works fine with the cable connected to my iPad but not via Bluetooth.

Can my ipad drive more than one speaker at the same time via bluetooth?

on my ipad the speaker switch turns the speaker off with some applications (ipod etc) but not with others (iplayer etc). Is it faulty?
View 2 RepliesI've seen some random carping about iPad WiFi speed on this forum but no thread pulling the whining together so we can get an idea how this thing performs. I just ran the CNet bandwidth meter on my iPad. My ISP is comcast I'm running a 1TB Time Capsule with a wireless n router built in.I'm sitting about 30ft from my router with full signal strength. My CNet speed was 834.5Kbps based on an average of three runs. The iPad feels plenty responsive. I really can't complain about speed at all. In fact, I think 3G would be a disappointment after experiencing my home WiFi connection. What are the rest of you experiencing?
View 12 RepliesI would like to be able to have a user log on to a specific network (I've done this with the config utility successfully) when trying to access internet resources. What I need is to have roughly a one button solution to have the user clear the credentials so the next user can come on and not be on someone elses wireless log on.

Just got an ihome ia100, found it does not charge either my ipod, or ipad, yet it is meant to, bought it as a good docking station, rather then using my ipad charger, but the ia100 is faulty out of the box, the remote also does work, yet the battery is full, checked battery condition with multimeter.
View 2 RepliesThe wireless internet on my mini worked perfectly for the longest time, and I haven't changed anything at all. A few weeks ago, the wireless would all the sudden stop working. What would happen is, I'd be going from one page to another and then BOOM. No more loading, the little circular "loading" icon never ending. And if I leave it up long enough, the page will eventually show up as unable to load.
Let me get some things out of the way:
-This is not only to particular sites. It's very random and has happened on all different kinds of sites.
-It happens at all different times of day.
-I am pretty much always using it in the same room, and it's the room with the wireless router, so it's not a problem of being too far away.
-I have other wireless devices that still work perfectly fine and the internet isn't dropped on them even when the internet on the mini is dropped, so it's not the wireless connection itself.
-The internet worked perfectly on the mini, until it didn't, and now it's always like this.
So, my guess is it's something wrong with the mini itself. And it happens all the time now. Like, say, every fifth page I try to load.
I can get the internet back on temporarily each time, but it's difficult. What I have to do is, go into settings, turn wireless off, then turn it back on and wait for it to re-connect to the wireless and then I'm back in business...for about five more page loads until it does it again.

View 11 RepliesIn case anyone was interested in purchasing this...I spent $200 on this dock/speaker system 2 weeks ago for my original iPad and was worried the angles of the iPad 2 wouldn't allow it to fit...To my relief, it fits perfectly.

View 6 RepliesI have the iPad 2 and Apple's Wireless Keyboard and would like to purchase a wireless mouse that will accommodate my Apple products. I do understand that Apple's Magic Mouse is not compatible with the iPad 2, but would like to hear if there is any possibility that i could use a wireless mouse with my iPad.

One thing I wish we could do with the iPhone is to print documents to a wireless device on a wireless network.
Is there any word that printing be possible on an iPad?
I was wondering if it's possible to stream audio to wireless speakers from iPad, while still viewing content on the actual device. I asked some yahoo at the Apple store and he had no idea, instead showed me a demo of the remote app (which I already have on my jailbroken unlocked 2g dinosaur lol) while I just smiled and nodded. I repeated my question and he was like "ummmm I don't think so." le sigh. Is this possible? If not, why? And if so, HOW?! I don't even have one but the thought of having surround sound for your weensy little screen with streaming content is vewy vewy intewesting.
