While I'm having no problems opening iTunes or the iTunes store, I'm unable to update any of my apps on either my iPhone or iPad. I get a message prompt when I click "update" that says "can't connect to the iTunes store". I can purchase music and books in the iTunes store, but it won't let me update my apps.

Just got my new iPad 3G. Can't install apps. A white box pops up and says loading, but nothing ever happens. I have tried to install dropbox, sugarsync, and a few other apps, and they all do the same thing.

But, impossible to install any application, as the apps tap in iTunes is totally greyed out...
All applications previously downloaded for my iPhone are ticked but I can't "untick" any box. The only thing I can do on the tap is ticking the global "Sync" little box : but when I do, iTunes just crashes...
Any idea why I can manually manage my applications, even those I bought specifically for the iPad?
Other important info : as I'm a French iPad user, I can't access the appstore, so I can't download and install applications directly from the device... I have to use iTunes and to sync from the computer.

Anyone have a problem with proswitcher app from cydia on their 3.2.1 IOS?
It basically bricked my ipad until figuring it. It wont turn on now on the splash screen first, and i tried hard restart, and it didnt work.
I bought new iPad 2 yesterday. I opened App Store to download a game. I was asked to give my iTunes password. I did so. I then had to go through a verification process, including giving certain credit card details, because there are multiple devices using my id. iTunes wouldn't verify & a message said I had to contact iTunes support.

I have an iPad running iOS 3.2.2, and I have an iPhone 3G running 3.1.3. 7 apps that had been sitting on the iPhone (functioning!) for at least a year (some of them repeatedly updated on the device itself) all of a sudden are reported by iTunes as being 'not compatible' because they 'require a newer version of the iPhone software' and therefore aren't sync'd back to the iPhone from which they came. To give you an idea, one such app was Stitcher.The same thing happened with an iPad app which had been working fine on the iPad until the moment I hooked the device up and rearranged/sync'd the apps.Is this an iTunes problem? I have 10.1 (54). Information : iMac Mac OS X (10.6.5).

View 5 RepliesThey delivered this morning and I wasn't at office. Fedex left 30 min before I arrived at my office. And I was so mad. My business our is 10-6 and they came 8:30! So, I called them and ask them if I can pick it up from wherever that delivery guy is. Fedex told me they will send message and tell them re-attempt if they can.
Otherwise I had two options. One, pick up from their center Two, wait till tomorrow. But after I hung up, after 20 min, this Fedex guy showed up!He said he was going to come by one more time and told me that he knew this is THE Ipad!. I was so excited!

I synced my apps from my iPhone to my iPad and obviously the format isn't correct for the iPad. Will the writer produce updates for the apps I previously have or will i have to downlad the same app which is iPad specific? I am thinking of deleting all my iphone apps off my iPad...what do you think?

Does anyone know how to get rid of the updates listed on the app store if you do not want them? For instance I have some on the list that are for increased stability on iPad 2 ( I have first version). Or upgrade for game center integration, which I have absolutely no interest in. I live in a rural area and we are limited on our usage (only 375MB per day). And therefore I do not want to download needless things, and yet I want the constant reminders on the icon to go away.

Every time I have tried to download iTunes the file gets stuck after just a few MB and won't download any more after that.I finally just downloaded the iTunes update on another computer and then transferring it on a USB key.Now I keep getting time out errors when trying to download and install the latest iPad update. Why am I having so much trouble downloading these damn updates.
