My folders for my yahoo mail are not there when I hit the mail icon all I have is inbox, trash, and drafts but none of the others are there on my yahoo mail account I have them on my other mail account.
I setup my office imap account on my iPad's mail and have approximately 100 sub folders that I can expand or contract on my PC in my Outlook inbox that are now appearing on my iPad's screen. I cannot contract those sub folders on ther iPad and I only want to see what is in the main inbox. Is there a way to hide these sub folders? All I want to see on the screen of my iPad is the main inbox, sent items, outbox and deleted items.
I was looking at my Yahoo mail in Safari and wanted to reply to an email. When I hit the reply tab everything worked fine but I could not get the key board to show so I could type my response. How can I get the keyboard to come up?

But the problem here, is where the heck is the inbox?? Where can i confirm the link to activate my account to install free apps? Help me please im just fedup with my old apps like 2 months with a boring apps please help where can i and how to confirm where is the inbox
I have three email accounts on my ipad2.Yahoo, Gmail and a pop email.I use the yahoo for "registration crap" so it gets a lot of junk. My gmail is more filtered and finally my pop is my main email.I am recieving mail fine, but when I try to delete everything in my inbox it just comes up with 25 more ( older dated) emails to fill up my inbox. It keeps filling up with older emails from March now. I like to keep my inbox cleaned out on my mobile devices and this is causing me much grief!
Opened a mail attachment (a spreadsheet), probably via pdf reader but could be good reader as I have that app. I cannot return to my inbox and the doc is there when I close and re-open mail or where I switch off the ipad and re-open mail. The ipad is otherwise functioning normally. Mail attachments have previously functioned normally - i.e. a back button appears on touch so it return to inbox. Am a bit worried about re-setting as not sure what that will do to other programmes.
While I was checking e-mail on my iPad 2, I got stuck with two of them. I canít delete those mails and an error message "Unable to move message to Trash folder" is popping up whenever I try to delete it. Is there any way to delete the same?
Fairly new to my iPad 3, but a long-time iOS user with an iPhone 4S. I have an iCloud email account along with my work Exchange account. iClous is the defaul email account. For some reason, any time I restart the iPad, Mail opens only in my iCloud inbox, and not in my unified inbox. Can't find any setting relating to this action. My iPhone 4S consistently opens in the unified inbox, with the exact same email accounts running the same 5.1.1 system with the same settings. A small bug, but kind of driving me nuts anyway. Am I missing a setting somewhere to fix this issue?
Just bought my iPad on Thursday .worked fine until today.opened my mail and as soon as I get into my account-inbox-tap on my mail and it crashes.....goes back to my home screen.I tried powering off and re starting, but same thing happens.

Hi. Like many other people, I am having a problem with e-mail, too. All the servers are on. I went to "Options-Mail-Accounts-Servers, etc" in the iPad, and followed the instructions I found from Apple, to make sure I can send e-mails. However, I cannot send e-mail from my Yahoo account. Furthermore, I cannot find the "switch to classic view" option, as has been suggested earlier. I looked all over for it. Also, in my Hotmail account, when I reply to mail, I cannot see the original e-mail, which makes it very difficult to respond to a long e-mail when you cannot re-read it. I am used to modifying the sender's e-mail, sometimes, too, but this is , obviously, also not possible. Why can't I see the sender's e-mail? My 3rd and final account, AOL works properly.
I'm not longer able to send e-mail from my iPad. I use two email accounts at my ipad. One of them is yahoo.
When I trying to send an email from my yahoo account, this message appers:†The connection to the outgoing server "apple.stmp.mail.yahoo.com" failed. You can configure more Outgoing email services in the settings menu. >Mail, Contacts, calender
This has worked before, on the same network as I use now.
My friends are able to see the images on their Yahoo! mobile mail using Safari on their iDevices though.†
In the new version of yahoo mail on the iPad, when viewing a message with an attachment , there is no link to click on to download the attachment. I dont see any place holder or option to click on. I have to switch to classic view to see the attachment and download it.
I just received pictures in an attached folder in an AOL mail. The folder was zipped and the iPad system will not open it. Any ideas? To get these pictures on the Pad I first opened the folders on my iMac, put the pics in iPhoto and then transferred them to the Pad. That is a lot of work for getting pics on the Pad.
The server side rules for Mobile Me mail is welcome. So all mail from work can be sent directly to a folder called "Work"
However, mail is not pushed to any folders other than InBox so there is no notification that new mail has arrived in "Work". In fact mail is not downloaded to that folder until you access it on your iPhone/iPad.
If you have many folders then the only way to know if mail has arrived is to laboriously click on each one.
Anyone have any ideas? Is Apple going to fix this basic problem that should have been considered when introducing server side rules?
I have my ipad set to PUSH emails from my exchange account at work. When I recieve an email into my inbox everything works fine I get the email notification sound and a number 1 appears next to the mail icon on the home screen. However in Outlook I have several folders set up which mail will go directly too instead of into my inbox to keep things nice and tidy. So say if I recieve an email from Fred Bloggs it goes directly into my Fred Bloggs folder instead of into the inbox. My Ipad recognises I have recieved a new email by making the notification sound HOWEVER a number does not appear next to the mail icon on the Home screen. Is there any way of making the mail icon on the home screen display the number of new emails in folders as well as the inbox or does it just monitor the inbox
I apologize if this has been discussed already but when I read through some of the discussions, well frankly, I became more confused.
I have a MBP, an iPhone and the iPad. My iPhone displays all the same Yahoo mail folders which appear on my MBP Yahoo account. However the same is not true on the iPad. Is this even possible? I'm not as computer savvy as most so the terms POP and iMap confuse me. I expected the Yahoo mail to look the same on the iPad as it does on the iPhone, which looks like the Yahoo mail on the laptop!
