Just opened, setup, and synced my new Ipad Wireless. Also downloaded that latest update.
I've connected wireless with full-strength.
But for some reason can't connect to the internet.
"CANNOT OPEN PAGE
Safari cannot open the page

I have had my iPad for a while now and it has worked fine using my 3G to access websites. Recently I have found that when I try to access the internet using the 3G that it will not connect to the internet. The iPad shows that I have full signal and my carrier name, but will not allow me to access anything regarding the web.
Has anyone else had this issue? I figured I would try to restore the iPad to original and use the same SIM card... no use.
I just bought an IPAD. I have also an iphone.
I connected to a wifi network successfully for both (both show good wifi signal icon).
I can browse internet with my iphone but on my ipad it says I am not connected to Internet !
Is my Ipad broken or did I miss something.
I've had my iPad for a few weeks now and love it. It's been no problem. This morning I woke it up to check emails and got a message to say I'm not connected to the Internet. The same happened with Safari, and any other Internet based app.
I shut it down and restarted but that didn't help. I plugged it into iTunes and saw there was an update available so I installed it in case it helped. But still nothing. I have a full signal strength from my wireless router.What might be causing the problem?

I have an I pad that won't connect to my BT internet, it recognizes the signal (full bar) and used to connect but now says "unable to join BT$)!'k"
It also won't get signal from BT FON or the like. But will connect to my neighbors broadband without issue!
Why might my ipad have connectivity issues with my own broadband (wife's iPad and laptop work fine) but work seamlessly with other BT broadband network!
Ever since I got my iPad it has always been disconnecting at random moments. When it disconnects, it still shows a very strong signal at the upper left corner but cannot go on the internet anyway. The only way to get it online is to turn the wifi off and on again. This happens to me around 10-15 times a day and around once a day I have to restart the iPad because turning the wifi off and on doesn't work. I have googled a bit but the most common wifi problem seems to be completely different. Is this a problem with my wifi connection or with my iPad?
View 3 RepliesI just got my Ipad and mine will not connect to the internet. My Iphone works fine on the network along with my other computers so I am confused. The wireless icon shows I have good signal strength. After reading some of the discussions here, I tried to manually load the settings information and connect to the network. I set the IP address to static and entered in all my current network information but I am still not able to connect to the internet.

For the past few weeks I haven't been able to go on the internet on my iPad due to the problem with wifi. Every other device I have connected to my home network seem to work flawlessly but my iPad doesn't. I can connect to the network and get the blue check mark beside the name but cannot seem to access the internet or use any apps that require internet access.Should i take my iPad in to my local Apple Store?

I couldn't get connection and get any bars now most of the time I have bars but it still won't connect. Safari times out and I get messages playing apps saying not connected to the Internet.
Sometimes if I lift the iPad in the air I can get the website to load.
I finally got bard by changing the router to channel 11. So got thar far, but doesn't make a difference if it still doesn't connect.
I moved into an apartment here in London over a week ago, and easily connected my MacBook and iPad to the wireless network the first day. In fact I am typing this on my 'book using the same network. Things were working just fine.Last night, I tried check my email on the iPad and was presented with a "Connection to the server 'imap.gmail.com' failed" message. Weird, I thought, so I tried again. Same problem. (Mail tells me my last update was yesterday at 5:45 PM--more than 24 hours ago).When I tried Safari, I am immediately presented with a message saying "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet" despite having full "wireless bars" in the upper left corner.

When I bought Ipad I explained that wifi did not work as walls too thick and that I had not phone signal man in apple shop said no problem connect via pc to broad band. How do I do this please. I have managed to sinc. it but that is as far as I have got.

So on my ipd 3G when i use mywi, other apple devices (iPhone, iPod) can pick up on and use the wifi signal my iPad is putting out, and it works fine for those devices. When I try and use my Nexus One however, it doesn't even find the SSID, no matter what i do it thinks that wifi network isn't there. Any suggestions for this?

Ipad3 - wifi showing connected, but not able to load Internet pages via Safari and iTunes downloads stop? Only way round it so far is to reset the wifi network via General settings i.e. 'forget this network' then to re- add it, putting in the network key in again.. This gets it working again for just a few minutes, but then I'm having to go through whole process again!
