I transferred a rental movie from my laptop to my Ipad. I haven't watched it yet, and would like to transfer it back to the laptop, but there doesn't seem to be an option. The movie was downloaded to the laptop, and not directly to the Ipad. In the support notes, it says the rental can be transferred between devices during the 30 day rental period.
I rented an iTunes movie, watched it, now days later it's still hanging around on my iPad. I can't play it anymore..... It says movie not available, but it shows movie chapters and movie info. How do I delete it? Thanks!
i rented an iTunes movie (the bountyhunter) and watched it. it's done/expired - only problem is the "movie cover" won't dissappear/self-destruct like the others. it just stays on my iPad and i can't get it off... quite annoying. does anyone know how to get rid of expired movie rentals on the iPad?
I recently rented a movie on my iPad but would like to finish watching it on either my Mac, or (ideally) on my AppleTV at home. I have my AppleTV synced to my iTunes but when I plug in my iPad, there is no screen to move the movie to my other devices. I hop it's possible to purchase a film on my iPad and get it off of it onto my other devices!
Information: Intel Mac Pro 2x3 GHz Dual Core Xeon Mac OS X (10.5.2)
I guess I had the wrong idea about apple software. I thought they were supposed to be user friendly/easy.I download a movie and want to transfer it on to the iPad, but it's Forcing me to use iTunes. Then i found out it only plays mp4 files so I need to convert the movie too! I should have just went with a android tablet. Even my nexus is as easy as drag and drop.
How do i transfer an itunes movie rental to my ipad 3? The downloaded movie is under "Rentals". When I click on "Rentals", I see the movie, but I I don't see any option to transfer to my ipad.† The rented movie does not show up under "Movies".
I have an movie that I captured from my HDPVR using Haupage hardware. I converted the file to MP4 and dropped it into iTunes where it plays perfectly. When I try to move it over to my iPad or Apple TV1 (by dragging and dropping) I get the green "+" sign but nothing happens. Apple support told me to use the "advanced" tab to "convert to an iPad or Apple TV version. The resulting file had it's resolution essentially cut in half. Why should I have to accept a substandard video if I want to play it on my Apple TV or iPad 2?
I downloaded a movie on iPod touch. I have not plugged it into computer yet and want it on my iPad. When I go to purchases to download it, it does not show up on either device. Does it not show up on devices until it has been synced with computer? I am unable to sync them on computer because I am away from it.
I rented a movie from iTunes using my laptop and then decided to watch it on my iPad. It won't sync. I followed the instructions to move it, but I keep getting a message saying that it can't be moved because it has already been transferred to another device or conmputer. I thought it was supposed to move from the laptop to the iPad and that I could do this as many times as I want during the rental period as long as I haven't watched it yet. Tried using Express help but that was worthless.
I saw the following statement in the article titled "Viewing and downloading HD content on iPad" that says "An Internet connection to the iTunes Store is required to authorize playback of movie rentals." Does that mean that I can not watch a rented movie on a flight where there would be no internet connection? Has anyone rented an HD movie and watched it in-flight?
