I have a 32GB 3G Wifi Ipad and an apple case. I installed a Zagg shield over the glass. Its been there for about a month. I noticed though that there is now a faint blue "haze" over the left side (power/home button at the bottom). At first I thought it was just the shield. But when I close the case, the little flap aligns perfectly with the blue line thingy. So it looks like the case discolored the shield a bit.

I had a purple line going across my screen and I read somewhere it is a hardware issue. I was going to bring it to Apple first thing when I return from vacation. Today a thicker blue line started flickering to the left of my screen and it totally froze. I tried turning it off and it did not work. The battery eventually died. I plugged it in and iTunes does not recognize it.I have NOT tried a hard reset yet because I downloaded apps here that I never synched to my computer.Will I loose these apps? If it were one App or 2 I would not mind but I spent at least 25 dollars since being on vacation.

The glass doesn't move, but there a sound when squeezed and released (not very hard either), assuming it's the back of the unit with a small space behind it. This is where most right handed people would hold the unit while navigating with their left hand.
View 7 RepliesOpened up my new ipad 64 GB with giddiness only to find a silver nick on the top left side of my ipad! A clean 1 mm nick going horizontally from the edge of the silver case. Unbelievable... also not sure if I have a yellow tint or not since I dont have an ipad 2 to compare it with.
View 25 RepliesI got my iPad a couple if days ago and it has developed a blue line going across the bottom of the screen, just above the home button. I has read about this problem but mine seems slightly different, in that the line only shows when it's against a black background, against any other colour it isn't visible, so it's not a dead pixel or pixels. I have done a restore and it worked for about ten minutes but it has came back now.Is there any other solution I could try or is it back to the shop for me? Information:Lenovo iPhone OS 3.1.2

Has anyone else noticed that the screen is a bit more yellowish on the left side of the screen? It is most apparent when the screen is white. There has to be someone else out there with the same problem, right? So, my question is, how do I fix it? Should i even take it into an apple store? I fear I will be without an iPad for a long time if I do.

Anyway, don't know if it's just me, but when I scroll text it seems like the left side is behind a few pixel lines, almost like a waving motion. Is this normal or should the whole text be uniform when swiping text with one finger? It doesn't bother me, but just the thought of something could be wrong nags me...

View 1 RepliesI have been using my 64 gb iPad foe about an hour. After 45 minutes a blue line appeared about a half inch from the top of the screen. It is a pixel wide and runs the entire width of the screen. I have turned it off and on but it's still there. I live the machine but I can't live with this major distraction. Is anyone out there having the same problem?
