View 2 RepliesSince Day 1, I cannot sync notes to my Ipad from Outlook. It says that it's syncing notes, but it ain't doing anything. This is every since I got my ipad. When I was using my Itouch in the pastit was working just fine.Even notes created on my Ipad, will not sync to my outlook.Tried even a clean install, of Windows 7 and Outlook, and setup Itunes to sync notes from Outlook, but no luck.

I use a Windows laptop for work (groan) that we use Outlook on. Is there a way to sync Outlook mail and calendar with the iPad? I currently have yahoo mail and gmail using Mail. I have been using Outlook web access to see my work mail but would like it all in Mail.LOVE the iPad calendar! Would like my Outlook events in my iPad calendar but NOT my personal stuff in my Outlook.
View 3 RepliesWe are currently having trouble getting an iPad to sync with Outlook (Exchange environment, Win7). Both the user's notes and contacts sync fine, but the calendar remains empty despite iTunes displaying a "Synchronizing Calendar" message. We already tried resetting the sync history, make iTunes replace all calendar entries on the next sync, and disabling the Exchange Cache mode. We are using the latest version of iTunes as we did a fresh install yesterday. Synching my own calendar to my iPhone works fine so I don't think it's an issue with our Exchange setup.
View 1 RepliesI want to sync my iPad notes with iCloud which I use for all my other syncing, but when I try to sync IPad notes with mail notes on my iMac it prompts me to create an @me.com email account. I thought that was long ago discontinued. After searching forums for advice and answers, most of what I read is outdated. So, what is the current situation with that? Do I need to create that to sync iMac mail notes with iPad notes? Using Lion on an iMac and iPad iOS 5.1
View 1 RepliesWhen iPad2 get released and I can justify buying a 2nd iPad (1 for home use and 1 strictly for business use) I want to officially eliminate using a "paper" calendar at work and home. Until now I have never used iCal or calendar on iPad or iPhone. I've just kept an outlook calendar at work and a paper business planner (dayrunner style).
I want to get out of the stone age and begin to go digital w/everything. My needs are as follows and looking for suggestions and/or apps to meet my needs.
1. Outlook is not sync-able from work since they do not allow personal use devices to sync w company calendars. So I will enter appts/contacts manually into either my MacBook pro/iPad/iPhone but wish everything to sync up wirelessly via wifi (3G not necessary). When In range of wifi obviously.
2. Same goes as above with a "to do" list. Either an app or a calendar w this functionality (must have alerts). I'm talking a line-item style list not just as appt times in a calendar. So I can check things off and add throughout the day and week.
I think the biggest thing is not having to hard-wire sync my devices is the biggest thing I need. And see calendar and to do alerts on both iPad and iPhone is a must, even when phone is in my pocket and iPad in office.
Attempt to sync Outlook contacts to Ipad. Outlook calendar does sync but not contacts. Have followed suggestions in Ipad support including reset sync history, remove and reinstall Itunes etc.
View 2 RepliesThe notes on my iPad do not match the Notes that I have on my MacBook. I have disabled sync through MobileMe because I have an iPhone running iOS 4 and the iPad will not support sync over the air. I have used the replace notes on iPad function in iTunes numerous times, results are the same. Some notes that were modified on my Mac are not modified on the iPad. The Note count does not match and deleted notes from the Mac reappear on the iPad.

I use Microsoft Outlook 2003 at work. Out IT administrator will not authorize access to our Calendar, contacts, and email for iPhone and iPad use. Is there any other way to sync my work Calendar and contacts with iPad? They lock down our PC's at work so we cannot add any software to our PC's. They allow uses with a blackberry to have access. I can get my notes and tasks by using iMLite.
View 7 Repliesif this pad is syncing the tasks where does it put them...It syncs the Contacts and Calendar just fine but no tasks. Is there an app for this?
View 5 RepliesTrying to sync the iPad throught iTunes, some of the appointments have come accross, but others have not. When I did the first sync, it created two calendars on the iPad, "From My PC" and "Calendar". The Calendar has some of the appontments, but not all. the From My PC has nothing, and it's missing lots of appointments.
View 1 RepliesSilly question here...my iPhone 3GS will sync with Outlook 2007 on my WIN 7 PC via iTunes (contacts & calendar) any reason to believe that the iPad will not do the same?
View 4 RepliesMy boss has an IPhone and IPad, up until last week they had no problem syncing each other and Outlook (exchange) now they will sync with each other but not with Outlook. When a calendar item is created in Outlook it will sync with both the IPhone and IPad, however the reverse is not true, the IPhone and IPad sync with each other but not Outlook. I tested this on my IPhone to Outlook calendar and it works fine, however no IPAD was in teh mix

Can't sync iPas/iPod with Outlook
I have an iPad 2 and Outlook 2003. Outlook won't sync with my iPad..
However, they will sync on another computer. Then I can clear the iPad calendar and then sync to main computer but the old calendar info syncs.
Outlook/ my computer seem to be holding on to the old calendar info in some kind of cache.
I have just tried to sync my contacts for the first time (first time sync) and iTunes keep asking "are you sure you want to remove GoodPlayer."... GoodPlayer is installed and I don't want to remove this, when I I only have options to remove the app or cancel, when I cancel it conceals the whole sync not just the removal of this app. I have sync apps turned off as is everything else, I just want to sync my contacts with outlook.
View 9 RepliesI want to use my Ipad 3 for business email - I haven't set up anything as yet - I would like to set up Outlook mail, contacts, calendar and tasks if it will sync - ipad, laptop (not apple) and iphone.
