Is there a faster way to delete email other than clicking on each one individually? Is there a way to "select all" or select multiple items? As of now, I have to click on hundreds of items to delete them. That, plus the inability to create a "save" or custom folder to save certain emails to, is a royal PIA. I'm about at the point where I'll be dumping this email completely. More trouble than it's worth.
When you open your email program and select a email to read from your inbox how do you get rid of the window/box on the left side of the screen so that the email that your reading takes up 100% of the screen.
Is there a quick easy way to select a paragraph or more in Mail and delete it? Right now I'm just putting the cursor at the end of what I want deleted and holding down the delete key. For more than a sentence or 2 that is kinda slow.

Is there a simple way of deleting hundreds/thousands of images from Photos without having to individually select each photo.
We use the iPad Photos to view pics when travelling, primarily to view underwater shots for immediate id' ing of small creatures. When we get home my wife import the images into Photoshop Elements to work on the files some are Jpgs and others are raw. For integrity reasons the uploading to PE is done directly from the camera card, plus this is a different PC to the linked iTunes.
Over the last 6 months we have not bothered about the restriction, but we are now running out of memory. tried a third party app (photomgrpro) and this simply duplicates the files in photos to make its folders and says they have to do this because of the way 'Photos' work.
I know there is usually a suggestion link . . . how can I suggest that Apple add a 'select all' feature within an email inbox so that items can be deleted en mass? For those of us using iPad or iPhone as a secondary POP account, with a master record left on the server, it causes quite a few clicks to delete hundreds of emails a day!
Just got an ipad that is set up to receive my work email thru microsoft exchange. I still have my blackberry and am trying to see if there is an option to delete email on the "ipad only" and not take it off the server (pc or blackberry). Is this possible?
I want to give my iPad 1 to my niece and want to delete my email account from it (but want to retain the existing email address on my ipad 2). Does anyone know if I can do that without removing it from iPad 2 as well?
I just got my ipad love it! I had it set to push my gmail and of course it all showed up on my ipad. I don't want it all there though, so reset to manual. Question: If I delete the mail it pushed off my ipad, will it delete from my desktop too?I don't want it sitting there on my ipad, bc other people in the house
I have received an email asking for my bank details as I have won £1 000,000. It's obviously rubbish but I cannot delete it from my Ipad. When I try, to the Ipad closes down the mail page but the email re-appears every time. Also it will not delete when I send it to the trash can.
When ever I write an email that address stays in my iPad. So when I type the first letter of that address it brings up all the addresses that begin with that letter. Sometimes this is annoying because it can be a long list.
I have been working with my new iPad for about 2 weeks and suddenly have one email that I can't delete. When I try to delete it, a pop up says "Unable to Move Message - the message could not be moved to the mailbox Trash." I get a similar message when I try to move it to a different folder. Within the body of the email there is a message as follows: "this message has not been downloaded from the server."
I'm probably being stupid, but I have multiple email accounts (incl. GMail, .Mac, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc) on my iPad and would like to have the email I delete on the iPad deleted *immediately* so it wouldn't show up in my inbox if I check from elsewhere.
Friend of mine has needed to close his 2 yahoo accounts. So, I delete them in the "contacts" app area where I also have his (and everyones) u.s. mail addresses, phone numbers, etc... When I type in the 1st letter of his name the two email addresses still pop up to select! SO, I deleted his entire contact in the "contact" app. to see if that would do it. NO email addresses STILL showing up!
It's seems like an obvious feature that was left out would be able to Select All of your email or more than one at a time to delete. I find myself going through a hundred emails one at a time to delete. Is there a way to do this?
When I select "edit" and tap the delete button of an email it displays, however briefly, the email. This is more than enough to load any images in the email confirming my email address for the spammer that sent the email.
My iPad downloaded a spam email from My Yahoo account. It shows up as an unread email in my inbox. But when I touch the lefthand header column to select it, it crashes the Mail app. Please help me delete the spam mail!
My email on iPad2 will not delete: I press delete, and I delete it from Trash, and when I open email again, even a few minutes later, the same mail is back again. This happens even if I have deleted it from the computer. Eventually it goes away, but sometimes not for several days. However, if I read it first on the iPad and delete it, it removes it from my computer.
For some reason, my iPad has memorized some email addresses I don't which to have populated in the drop-down suggested email addresses (i.e. in the address field in mail, when I start typing Smi... I get 3 Smiths even though only one is in my address book.I've checked on my Mac (to which the iPad is synced) and the unwanted Smiths are no where to be found -- not in my Address Book. Also on my Mac in Mail I've clicked on Window>previous recipients and made sure the unwanted addresses aren't there either. (Also on my Mac these unwanted Smiths do not show up as suggestions the way they do on my 'pad).
I changed an email address in my contacts but the old email address and the new email address comes up when using mail. How do you deleted the old email address so it never comes up again on the iPad mail.
My problem is how to delete email on my Ipad easily and efficiently. I think there ought to be a quicker way then touching each email to delete, and then having to re-do the whole process again in the delete file.
