Safari Wont Display Images On With Wordpress Sites?
Jul 10, 2010
Im a photographer, And I like to check mine and other photographers blogs on the iPad. Problem is, it seems like, if im on a wordpress engine blog, i only get 2 images displayed.. Ive treid a few blogs, same thing. Could anyone with an ipad check my site and tell me how many images load on the blog? www.himynameispeter.com is my blog
I'm having an issue on the iPad only. My site is: http://www.placeitonluckydan.com. On a desktop, you see the full page. It consists of 3 tiers and the bottom tier isn't showing up on the iPad -- it cuts off at the end of the middle tier. The footer bar is there, giving the impression the site is being shown in full. Every other page is fine, only the home page. I can click on any of the other pages, even lengthy articles, and all is perfect. iPhone is perfect too and it's the same software (right??) as the iPad so this makes all the more puzzling. Global on iPads, I've had several people check this.
the safari from my Ipad 1 keeps crashing on wordpress.com and sometimes even in other website. i'm new to this ipad thing and i'm no idea in techno stuff so is it normal?
Since I received my ipad 3 I have been having this really annoying issue that I cannot figure out.
Sites such as Pinterest (app based), and Foodgawker (also app based) will not load the images! All i get are empty white boxes all the time.
I am on wireless here (rural)
There is no problem loading images in Safari, etc. It just seems to be these image based sites. I've tried in Safari to go directly to those sites, and it's the same thing...no images show
I'm having trouble with photos on my ipad.First let me ask, What is the best size and dpi to display images? When I put a white stroke around the images i uploaded the stroke does not show on the right side of the images. So I created a white border using the "canvas size" tool in photoshop and still no border on the right side.
What's with the iPad and images in PDF's? I've tried a fair number (>6 & <12) and many of the photos, images, maps and graphs don't display except as white (blank) space. I've tried two PDF readers and Safari. I tried to find the specs., but those say the image formats should display. I'm open to suggestions.
One thing that I can't stop wondering about is how web images will show on retina display iPad? I have a 21.5 inch iMac, it's 1080p, and most web pages will use a third of the display in the middle, I can use zoom function to make the web page display full screens, however, when the text appear to be fine, but images will look blurry. Now, retina screen has more pixel than 1080p, so when browse "fit to width", the image should be also blurry? Does anyone have a1080p android tablet? How does it show on that? iPhone never had the problem, because even retina screen, the resolution is not greater than the website. Unless, the new iPad really going to be a game change, and someone is going to invent some kind of true vector image file that sufficient to use for web?
After the upgrade to iOS 4.2, safari on my iPad routinely crashes when I navigate around www.underground.com. Anyone else seeing this problem? Works fine on an iPhone 3G or iPhone 4.
I just received an IPAD. My main purpose is to be able to access my Realtor Mls Sites for business. They are only compatable with Internet Explorer not Safari. Does anyone know of an APP that may help me.
Today i removed all the website data on my ipad settings and now everytime i visit a site i have to log in each time. Is there anyway to keep me logged in again? This happens on my ipad 2 and iphone 4.
Safari Does Not Remember The Username Or Passwords For Sites
Aug 1, 2010
I have two iWeb password protected websites for my Daughters, however when I try to log into them from my iPad, Safari does not remember the username or passwords for either of the sites. When I log into these sites from my iMac, I have no such problems with Safari. Anyone have any ideas how to resolve this ?.
Is there a way to prevent Safari from zooming in on websites to fit the screen when you load them? I could see why this was necessary on the older iPads, but now that the retina display is even better than the resolution of most laptops and desktops, I think it's a bit odd to have everything on the iPad still zoom in and try to display everything larger than it needs to be be default. Is there some type of bookmarklet or some browser out there that will display websites at exactly a 1 to 1 pixel ratio, as if it were being viewed on a desktop with a 2048x1536 display?
I have an iPad2 and for the last few days I have noticed when I go to a website in safari I keep getting redirected to random ad sites. I tried clearing cache, history, cookies and that didn't do anything. I have restarted in every way possible, I have restored the iPad with a backup and also without but this problem won't go away! This occurs on most websites with not much pattern. I have noticed though that certain websites anyways redirect to the same other websites...
Unable To Connect To The Internet - Safari Wont Open Sites
Nov 28, 2010
With the new OS I can't connect to my schools network. To connect I have to open safari and log into the network but now the page to log in won't pop up because the ipad is "not connected to the internet".
