Revert To Previous IOS Version?
I've upgraded to 4.2 and love the folders and other benefits but ever since upgrading, battery life has noticeably changed for the worse. I've read the thread on here about discharging the battery and then doing a full recharge but it hasn't worked for me. As much as I want folders etc, I want the excellent battery performance I had before more. Does anyone know if it is possible to revert back to the previous IOS version and if so how it is done? Is it just a case of restoring from my last pre 4.2 backup?

I have an app (Xfinity TV) that worked well and served me well. An update was released recently that fails miserably on the iPad2,and apparently the iPad as well. Is there a means to go back to an older application version on the iPad2?

How To Restore Previous Version Of An App
My company has 10 iPad 2s running iOS 5. We use a POP3 email server. We had trouble with the native email program on the iPads because it wouldn't fetch from the server, and our server wouldn't push. The Apple geniuses weren't able to help us fix it despite many hours in the store and on the phone. We finally found an email app, IbisMail, that addressed exactly that issue, and we installed it on all the iPads. It worked great. A week or so ago, there was an update to IbisMail in the App Store. The description said that Apple had taken away their fetch/push capabilities. I told everyone NOT to update to this new version. Most of the iPads have restrictions set so that the users can't do anything with the apps anyway. We still have the old version running on all the other iPads. Is there a way to copy it from one of those, to hers? Each iPad has its own Apple ID so they sync independently. I don't want to mess up any of the other iPads trying to do this. I'm not sure how recently she backed up to the iCloud, so if she hasn't done it in a while it's possible that the old version of the app is still there. I've never restored from a backup. Is it possible to restore selectively, so that I could just restore this one app? As a related issue, she also has an iPhone that is running IbisMail for the same reason, and she updated that one as well. We don't have any other iPhones. I think the IbisMail app is the same app for both devices, but I don't know if it's possible to sync apps from an iPad to an iPhone.

How To Revert To Old 3.2 From 4.2 ?
I like a few things about 4.2 but I'm not over happy with it all, I was on otherhand happy with 3.2... Multitasking is quiet what I had imagined and tbh the iPad worked just great without it. So does anyone know how to revert to old 3.2 from 4.2 Information: Ipad iOS 4

Revert IOS 5 Back To 4.3.3
I think this might help out some that where having problems reverting IOS 5 back to 4.3.3. make sure to go (Settings)(General)(profile development) and remove your dev cert. then use itunes to restore back to ios 4.3.3. please let me know if it works.

How To Revert Back To IOS 4.3
I jumped the gun and installed iOS 5 on my iPad and before anyone asks, yes I am a legit developer with a developer account. I want to go back to 4.3, is this possible on my iPad 1 WIFI? I downloaded a ispw of 4.3 and tried to restore with no luck.

BT Keyboard Off - Press Eject Button But Cannot Revert Back ?
Is there any quick and easy way to disconnect your BT keyboard from your iPad short of turning BT off in services? I tried the eject button but that doesn't seem to revert you back to the onscreen keyboard if you are still in BT range. I also tried turning keyboard off and that didn't help, iPad still thinks it is connected and won't pull up onscreen. The only thing I've found that works is going to Settings and turning BT off.

IPad :: Buying Items From ITunes Gives 1080p Version Or 720p Version?
Apple.com says the following: "With iPad you can download and watch HD (High Definition) Movies and TV shows right on the iPad. 1080p content is only compatible with iPad (3rd generation), Apple TV (3rd generation), and computers that meet the minimum system requirements." If I download an item by buying it directly through the iTunes app on my iPad, are they giving me the 1080p version or the 720p version? I have the setting in iTunes set that I prefer 1080p, but I wasn't sure if I am getting the highest quality video possible.Or do I need to buy it on my computer to ensure 1080p and then transfer to the iPad?

Open The Desktop Version Of Twitter Not The Mobile Version?
Does anyone know if there is a URL that will force my iPad to open the desktop version of twitter, not the mobile version? I know you can always just go tot the mobile version then click the 'Standard' desktop version link at the bottom of that page to visit the desktop version of Twitter, but I'd like to know if there is a direct link that will force an iPad to display the desktop version.

Wifi Version On 4/3 - Activate The 3g Version
I received the wifi version on 4/3 and now it appears I will be receiving the 3g version on 4/30 -when i activate the 3g version, will it automatically download all apps loaded to the first wifi model, paid or free to the new 3g version, at no additional cost.

Right so i went over lakeside shopping center today to look at the ipad and my first thought was i have to have this, BUT i am in two minds weather to get it has i already have an iphone 3gs and a imac, what do people think i should do? also i am not sure weather to get the wifi version or the 3g version, i am going more towards the wifi version as i won't be taking out a lot with me and if i do i will only be going to places were i am going to be able to use wifi.

Is there any plans to make previous OS's (Tiger, etc..) compatible with the iPad? If not Why isn't it already?I was advised in store that once activated (done in store), my MacBook with Tiger OS would recognise and sync. I've since found it will not.

Restore From A Previous Backup
I recently was trying to resolve an issue whereby my ipad had over 5 gigs of 'other' type memory being consumed. I went to do a restore, and it was taking forever, and somehow I tried to revive it, but my ipad restored to factory results, I went to resync, and it backed up my now factory default ipad.I was able to sync all my apps and books, etc. But my content was gone (as in the content created within these apps). Is there anyway to go to a previous backup file, or undelete one and make it active so I can resync to it? BTW, my 'other memory is now under 100MB, so I solved that one.Did I mention that I am running itunes on windows (it was a gift), my wife uses the mac in the house, and now I am only using my iPad for all of my needs.

Restore To Previous Backup
I was wondering if I could restore my brand new iPad to a previous backup I have of my iPhone 4. All of the apps are the same, so it should work right?I also want to know if it would be possible for me to do what I said above without having to update my software, cuz my Internet is SLOW and the 500 MB download would take forever!! Cannot Restore Previous Setting
I backed upped my iPad and restored it to iOS 5. When it was successfully installed and restored, my iPad did not have any of my previous apps. So i tried restoring it to iOS 4.3.5 and it is now stuck in recovery mode with iTunes repeating "preparing iPad for restore".

Restore From Previous Backup?
I got a new iPad2 today as a warranty replacement for one with screen issues. The store tech backed everything up to iCloud when the switch was made about 9:30. When I got home and went to restore the new iPad with my old data, it said the most recent backup was at 11:00. Restoring with this backup basically restored to factor settings. My question is is it possible to restore an iPad from iCloud with an old backup? Can I tell it specifically to restore with the 9:30 backup or is that one completely gone and I am out of luck? I dont even know how I can make it go back to the previous page? Or even if it does that. My first ipad and I sure am impressed but Im used to the Dell desktopks with windows and a simple arrow icon for backing up a page or 2. Where is the page back icon/button?
