Jul 17, 2011I had an existing note that I was editing yesterday and somehow I hit a key combination that deleted all the text in the Note (quite a lot). I have since found the undo key on the keyboard but this would not restore the text that was deleted. I have tried everything to recover it but no luck.
I have not turned off the iPad since this happened nor have I synced. Are Notes synced in iTunes? If so, where do I find them?

Recovering Deleted Beatles?
Nov 17, 2010So yesterday I was excited for The Beatles box set and promptly downloaded it onto my iPad while at work. I watched everything download just fine and even listened to some of it at work and on the way home.
As soon as I got home I wanted to get it backed up so I plugged it into my PC and let it sync. After the sync was done I was going to play some of the music while I did chores is the house, however almost all of The Beatles content was gone! There are 29 items left of the box set that actually synced...the rest has been deleted from both the iPad and the computer.

May 20, 2011iPad is a 30GB, 3G, 4.3.3 (8J3).
iPhones are 30GB, 3GS, 4.3.3 (8J2) and 16GB, 3G, 4.2.1 (8C148).
iPods are Classic 3rd gen 160GB 2.0.4 and Classic 1rst gen 80GB ( which currently displays a "sad ipod" with warning sign).
At the moment I'm about ready to cry. This morning I accidently deleted an email with important information that I cant recover or find. I just downloaded an iPad data recovery software and it wont run on my PC. Its from Digital River called a TapWrapCore and file name says m-ipad-to-pc-transfer. Im not too worried about the software, its the email I want back.
Is there an simpler way of recovering deleted files or emails on an iPad? Doesnt it have some sort of "recycle bin"? Theres a person in Australia 17hrs ahead of us waiting for that email to arrive 8 hrs ago.

Apr 29, 2012I have been playing a game on my iPad 2 called Oregon Trail Settler which I have advanced many levels and purchased money to add to my game experience. 2 days ago it kicked me out after clicking on the app icon to play. So I tapped on the icon again to play and it restarted me back to the first level. I did try to delete the app and reinstalled it and it continued to start me at the
beginning. My question is if Gameloft or Apple have a way of retrieving my status under my username, etc. I am broken hearted to have lost my status and progress with this game! In the interim of trying to recover my previous game I have fixed my iCloud problem with deleting my account which reflected an old email I had for my apple ID when I first got my iPad. So now all of my apps, etc are backed up, but the last backup was in January, 2012 which is before I initially installed Oregon Settler.

Oct 11, 2011I have accidentally deleted the folder where my native apps ("settings, youtube , safari , etc.") thru iphone browser in my pc. This happens when I am deleting a certain file there, then my ipad suddenly hangs. Then, after a restart of my ipad, every native apps was deleted. I am using an ipad 2 16gb wifi version. Sep 5, 2014I can surf the web without it freezing and crashing. Reading magazine or pdfs. If I delete unused Apps? (The capacity is 58 GB and I've got 16.2 GB available.) Running IOS version 5.1.1 (which I think is the most recent that will download to this.)
Or do I just throw it out the window and buy a new one? What's the estimated usable life of the current iPads?

Apr 11, 2012I recently had a problem on my PC which resulted in the loss of a number of image files (caused by the beta version of Bluestacks Android app player if anyone's interested). Among those lost were a number of wallpapers that I had made for my iPad. I had a backup but that was missing about 15 new ones that I'd made. All of the images were synced to the iPad via iTunes and are presently safe and sound on the iPad. Can I get them back onto my PC in any way? I'm reluctant to sync again until I know I won't lose them!
