View 4 RepliesI have just purchased my first iPad, and in loading pictures, noticed that the Photo Gallery always opens at the top of the gallery (oldest picture) opposed to the bottom (newest picture). Is there anyway for gallery to open at the bottom of the pictures, so I am not constantly having to scroll to the bottom?

View 11 RepliesStill waiting, like many, for my 3G iPad, but I just downloaded Opera for my first gen. iPod Touch. WOW! That is one speedy browser. I couldn't believe how quickly pages were loading and instantaneous flipping back and forth between open pages. I was wondering if anyone has tried this on the iPad and if the experience is notably improved or any other observations.
View 7 RepliesIs there any way to "toggle off" background Apps? I have no need to keep newspapers, books, games, etc running in the back only to have to "Double tap the home button, hold the icon till it wiggles, tap the negative sign, close the bottom panel" - useless wate of time.If no, any shorter way to close an app other than the method described above? How about just flick up on the Home screen to get to the running apps bar (what do you call that bar anyway?) instead of having to click the home button twice? (You wouldn't believe how much noise that stupid button makes when it clicks when your partner is sleeping and you are reading in bed!) At the very least can't Apple just make the background Apps already have the little negative sign on them when they come up (like the close program "x" PC programs now have)? It would at least save the "hold till it wiggles step".Don't even get me started on the Mute button that only mutes system sounds (which I have turned off anyway) yet makes be do a whole bunch of steps to be able to screen lock! Can you say "user selectable function"?

The big hype with the 3GS last year was the oleophobic screen, which indeed, was great at preventing fingerprints and stuff. However, I noticed that over time my oleophobic screen basically wore off, and it was increasingly difficult to keep the iPhone screen clean without taking the cloth to it every day. As luck would have it, I dropped my phone on the ground and broke the screen and was 'forced' to get the glass replaced. I'm just wondering if there has been any advancement with the oleophobic screens as it relates to the iPad vs. the 3GS.
