As you may have read my iPad totally died on me the other day. Only after a few minutes plugged into the mains did it come back to life and even then I didn't expect it to.
What I noticed later that day was that the battery was at 70% and when I plugged it into my laptop it suddenly jumped to 100% - clearly that isn't possible.
So I figured I'd restore the iPad. And I did. Then at the end of yesterday the battery was again at around the same usage and plugged in and it said it was fully charged! Again not possible.
So my question is - has anyone else had similar things happen with their iPhones or iPad?
And what's up with my battery? I'm in the UK so I can't get the iPad swapped out under warranty until the end of May... Will my ipad last that long?
A 50% battery will still last me long enough that I can happily use the iPad and will keep me I'm good shape for it to be swapped when it is out in the UK but I don't have battery knowledge so I'd appreciate any feedback!

IPad 2 :: No Weather Status Showing In The Notification Bar?

Have updated my Win 7 PC to iTunes 10.5 and my iPad2 to IOS 5.
On the Pad I have been using AccuWeather & Weather+. Neither showing in the Notification bar. Also, neither showing up in Settings/ Notifications - on the Pad.
Yesterday went to the App store and installed TWC MAX + . Now when I go to my iPad and then Settings/ Notifications, the TWC MAX+ is listed- but still not showing on the Notification Bar.
I plug in charger when it reached 2%, then manually power off the new ipad. It just dont show out the charging status when i quickly press the power/home button. May I know is this normal? How to know if it is fully charged?

So I ordered the 32 gb wifi on march 8th at 11 am. It is still sitting in Processing Product status and has not gone to Processing shipping status. Does Apple update this status only on weekdays or does it do it on weekends as well

I can't seem to check the cellular usage on my iPad. I purchased a 250MB plan and 3G works, but it just says "there is no data plan." Nothing shows up on the full account overview, either. How can I check?
Battery Status Was Low At 5% When Surfing The Net - No Battery Charging Sign, No "plip" When Connect Via Charger Or USB On Computer

I have a problem with my iPad 1: The battery status was low at 5% when I was surfing the net so I shut it down. Came to it the next day to charge it up and the Pad is not reacting at all. No battery charging sign, no "plip" when I connect it via the charger or USB on the computer. I have checked all the obvious stuff such as cleanliness of all the connectors, function of the the wall charger etc. I changed the USB/power cable and nothing has worked. I have also tried to reset it by simultaneously pressing the start and home buttons. The pad still isn't switching on. Before this fault the battery was excellent: held its charge really well.
I haven't read about this, but my new ipad was stuck at 100% battery for hours. I used it to about 90%, and then connected to my computer to transfer a few videos. It said "not charging", but after about 5 minutes I unplugged it and was surprised that it said 100%. A few hours later I was confused as it still said 100. I tried restarting, even with sleep+home and nothing. Finally it dropped to 99, but it has been there for another hour.

I plugged my iPad into my laptop to charge it overnight, but the iPad didn't charge. My laptop recognized it, and my iTunes synced it, but it wouldn't charge. It just said "Not Charging" next to the battery icon. How do I charge my iPad through USB?
IPad 2 Charging Not Showing 100 Percent With Plugged In Symbol

I have had my iPad 2 plugged in charging for sometime now and the battery percentage has shown 99% with the charging bolt symbol for many hours now. It has yet to show 100% with a plugged in symbol and my iPad 2 has been plugged in for about 6 hours now.
IPad 3 :: Showing Apple Then ITunes Logo And Not Charging

I have a iPad 3 16gb wifi only. If I turn it on, it will only show the apple logo and then the iTunes logo. Plugging it in to the 10 watt charger will cause it to display the red battery charging symbol (indicating the battery needs to be charged). It does not seem to charge. I have replaced the charging port, but nothing changed. Does this mean I have a defective battery? Is it possible that there is a problem with the logic board?

I plugged my ipad mini in this morning. The little red battery light came on showing it was basically empty - drained - I left it to charge for about 6 hours, came back to it, tried to turn it on and nothing -- I then thought it might be the charging cable, so I plugged that into my iphone 5 - and it charged the phone in a matter of 20 mins to 100% (so I'm sure it's not the cable). I then used the "toothpick" trick, and cleaned a bunch of "gunk" out of the charging port on the mini - plugged it back in, and NOTHING. It doesn't seem to be charging. My son (who primarily uses the mini for YouTube and Minecraft) had left the tablet paused on a youtube video when he left for school this morning --- would that have anything to do with the tablet not recharging? I tried "pinging" the tablet on the iphone finder app --- says it's not "connected to the internet" --- I tried plugging it into my pc, again, nothing.

I have recently upgraded the software on my iPad second generation and now it's totally unresponsive . There is a black screen showing a lead needing to be connected to iTunes. I have tried a reset but nothing and it won't switch off or on.
Charging - Doesnt Even Recognize Actual Apple Charger Dont Even Show Any Sign Of Charging/not Charging

I bought my Ipad 2 about 7 months ago and ever since i been dealing with charging issues and i think my ipad doesnt even recognize the actual apple charger dont even show any sign of charging/not charging and i have been using dhifferent charger and now it seems like it dont work anymore, so i am quite confused with this whole charging thing. I tried from wall socket and still didnt work
Did Apple say anything regarding feature updates and whether the iPad will fall under the iPod Touch's paid update scheme or the iPhone's free updates?
I am considering buying IM+, but before I spend $10 I'd like to know how good its Facebook support is. Does it only handle Facebook chat, or can you view/post status updates?
I was syncing my iPad earlier to my MacBook via iTunes. They backing up step was going on for about 10 minutes and it only got 1/20 across the status / progress bar. I "X'd" out of that and just synced the rest of it without the backing up step.
Then I disconnected the device and reattached it. I went back and am re-syncing. The backing up step has been going for almost an hour and its only 1/5th across the progress bar. It is moving, but noticeably. If I put my mouse pointer icon on the end of the progress made so far, then come back and look at it 10 minutes later, it has made progress. So, it is backing up, but so incredibly slowly.
UPDATE:
I left it for several more hours. In fact, I started the syncing around 6 pm, and went to bed around 11. It was only 3/4 to 4/5 done backing up by that point.
I left it overnight, and in the very early morning (6 or 7 am), it was had the familiar and comforting "Sync Complete" message.
None of the settings have been changed from the last syncing, so the same number of iPhoto recent events and the same videos and music were synced over. There was a new app, but it wasn't one that you need to download over wifi (it was that Adobe Flash viewing app, SkyFire.
I have a wireless connection at home that works fine with both my imac and my laptop. I'm trying to use the same wifi connection for my ipad- however ever since i got the ipad it's not able to recognize any wifi sygnal. There is "no service" on the status bar (top left corner) at all times. I tried reseting network settings already. I bought the ipad in the U.S. and brought it back to UK. Does that have anything to do with it ?
