I got a 32GB 3G + WiFi iPad today. In my settings, I don't have an option for notifications. Do I have to activate the 3G service in order for this to show up? It seems like it should work with just WiFi. Can anyone shed any light on this? I'm running 3.2.2.

I'm trying to sync my bookmarks with my ipad. I have icloud setup on my ipad & have the bookmarks in safari on my pc. However the only option I have in itunes for sync bookmarks is outlook. It doesn't show any of the browers I have.

With 2 options; Not Now or Update. I have clicked on both options several times and nothing happens. My ipad 3 is locked! I can't do anything! I can't even turn the ipad off!

View 9 RepliesAlong with by previous question on photos I have just realised that there is one other query I have before buying an iPad.If I have IM+ set up with Push Notifications on my iPhone and then set up IM+ on my iPad with Push Notifications how will the two work together? For example if I'm using IM+ on the iPad and I quit the app will I only get a notification on the iPad or on both the iPad and the iPhone? I imagine this could be an issue with other Apps that use the push service.

View 7 RepliesI am having issues with AIM, for some reason im not getting any push notifications even with the new update. I have all my settings correct on both ipad and aim. I know my push works because i get push email and i tried find my ipad and sent a msg and that worked. So is this a issue with the AIM or could it be a problem with my device ? any help will be appreciated because for days ive been searching for a solution with no luck.

I tested iCal and that worked for reminders, but I haven't gotten anything since I installed GM when it comes to CNBC, CNN, etc. for now I've reinstalled the apps. Is there anything I can do?

However, it seems that they have added a lot of adds to the app so I don't want to ever update it. Is there any way to remove the update notification from the App store icon or am I forced to see the little number one displayed next to it forever?

Additionally, I do use the photo frame option when the iPad is on my nightstand, and therefore I don't want calendar reminders showing up in front of my pictures. Any idea how to turn off the calendar reminders? I didn't see it in the settings area for the calendar.
