New ITunes - Apps Update Notifications

Since installing the new iTunes update, I have not received any notifications of updates for Apps for my iPad. I continually check for updates in both the iPad Applications icon and the iTunes store on my Macbook. Each time the only line I get is there are NO updates available for all the Apps on my iPad. Usually, when I check these places, there are at least one a day. It's now been over a week, and I have yet to get any updates. I wonder if this is another bug in the latest iTunes update? Removal Of Update Notifications?

Is there any way to remove update notifications from the App Store icon? For example, I have the Epicurious cookbook app downloaded on my iPad and there is an update for it. However, it seems that they have added a lot of adds to the app so I don't want to ever update it. Is there any way to remove the update notification from the App store icon or am I forced to see the little number one displayed next to it forever?

App Store Update Notifications After Syncing It

Synced my iPad with laptop who had an apple id i synced its apps onto my iPad. I couldn't update them because I don't know its password so i deleted all the apps but the app store icon still keeps coming up with the notifications bubble. I've deleted the apps. The bubble goes away after i go into the app store but when i go into another app and exit it i got that notification again.

We are using the new ipad 2s at kiosk system, while the new ipads that we got are coming with the latest ios but the one we installed earlier are ios 5.0 we do not want any notifications of any sorts that allows the user to get out of the app that we are using.
All the other ways of coming out of an app are covered but the one with the ios update notification that comes in the middle of the screen is the only one that is coming in the way.
We are testing our app for the new release of ios and are working on it, in mean time we need some solution to disable that blue notification that comes in the middle of the screen and has the two options of cancel and goto settings.

I've updated all of my apps in the App Updates window, synced both my iPhone and my iPad several times in the last few days, but iTunes is still showing a little 2 next to the "Apps" header indicating there are still 2 more out there that need to be updated.

Hope someone can help me with this. I'm having a strange issue with my ipad and itunes, when I try to update an app I keep getting a "Cannot connect to itunes store" notice, but I have no problem downloading new apps or browsing the app store.It's as if I'm being blocked from the update section of the itunes store. I have a wifi only ipad so I'm updating over my wifi network. The other thing is that my iphone can update apps with no issue over the wifi network, it's just the ipad that can't.

Can't Update Apps Wrong ITunes Account Associated With Them

I have just a handful of applications that when I try to update the the app store app prompts me for a password to my other account which the apps were not purchased on. All the apps were validly purchased on the first account, but now the apps are associated with my second itunes account and I can't update them. I've gone into the app store app and set the account to my first account but that does nothing for the update, it keeps prompting me for my password for my second account. I need it to switch back to the first account for these few apps. What's odd is that every other app updates just fine and are associated with the correct account, except for just these few.

I can see there are 2 updates for my apps.I went to do the updates via 3G and it won't let me due to the size of the files it tells me to connect to a PC or do it via WI FI.I connected the iPad to my windows PC and it syncs with iTunes fine and I can see all the apps but it's not downloading the 2 updates for the apps. how I update apps via a windows PC running iTunes ?

Not Getting (Sound Or Alert) Notifications For Apps On IPad 2

I just bought an iPad 2 and I immediately started installing apps. I installed IM+ to connect to my MSN messenger account and everything worked perfectly but one thing that I didn't like was that I had to open the app to see if I had new messages. So then I installed imo.im and it was the same thing. I started to think the OS didn't allow the apps to tell me if there are new msgs but I knew the Mail app puts the number of msgs on top of the icon.
Then I realized what I missed was a feature of the OS called notifications. I remember both apps asked if I wanted to allow notifications and I answered yes to both. I also checked under settings -> notifications and the feature was on, also both apps appear on the list below and they have "Badges, Alerts and Sounds" selected so this seems to be configured. I had no notification come up, either in the form of popups, bagdes, sounds or whatever, for any app.
