I have Netflix on my Mac computer at home and it works great, but when i go to the App Store to download it to my iPad it won't allow me to. The "Free" button is gray and therefore not selectable. i have synced my iPad many times to the computer but for some reason this one Netflix application will not transfer over to the iPad. In my settings menu on the ipad there is a Netflix symbol under my apps but there is no icon any where else on the iPad. When i search for Netflix on the iPad nothing comes up.
Just bought an iPad 2 and I can't download a Netflix app or play Netflix DESPITE having a VPN. Is this because my iTunes account is registered in the UAE? Totally frustrated as watching movies/series is the reason I bought this thing!
I've been using Netflix on my iPad for 2 weeks now with no problems. Last night started having connectivity issues. Deleted the app, tried to reinstall it. Now am getting the error cannot install the app.

Ipad2 And Netflix - Select A Movie Off Netflix And Plug Into Tv?
Dec 11, 2011
I just purchased an ipad2, really a learning experience! I have the Netflix app on my iPad, is there something on the market to select a movie off Netflix and plug into my tv so everyone can watch the movie? When I select a movie from Netflix, does it download (save) to my iPad and take up space?
I have a two Wifi only Ipads, 16GB. I have successfully watched several Movies and TV shows on the Netflix app. But sometime in the last few weeks the Netflix App has all but become useless. I am able to launch the app and browse, edit and add things to my queue. But when I click on the Play button it takes me to the "You're almost ready to watch" screen and tries to load the movie for a few seconds and then I get an alert: "Unable to reach netflix.com" and stops there. The movie never starts. I know that the app itself has been updated but I am 90% sure that I was able to watch things after the latest update. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, restored my Ipad back to defaults, tried on at least three different ISP's and have tried the same Netflix account on my second Wfi Ipad, and have tried my parents account on either Ipad with it never working
I wasn't a fan when it was announced but as time went on I kept looking at it and by the time it was released I knew I wanted one. I just brought my 64gb iPad home. This thing is great. The first app I downloaded was netflix and it runs great. Now I have my netflix instant queue at my disposal anytime. Ok now I'm off to go play with my new toy and find some great books to read.
has anyone noticed on some of the older Netflix movies the audio is really low. I tried a few of the older movies and had the volume on maximum and still could hardly hear anything. I tried it with some of the newer movies and the audio was better. Now if I compare it to the ABC app the audio is perfect. My guess is its the Netflix app that needs an update or is there something wrong with my volume?
I see that netflix came out today with a update today which enables the use of vga connector. If this is true then it seems a great way to download movies & watch on tv.
How do you get netflix to stream from the Ipad (wi-fi) to the TV?? I bought a apple-VGA converter and tried to hook it up to my TV that way but its not playing at all. I can only seem to play things that are in the "video" application...any help would be appriciated. Ipad is also jailbroke using spirit.
Tonight I decided to watch some netflix on the samsung home theater. We went to grab a bit so I paused it till we could get home. When we got back, I couldn't get the movie going again so I reached for my iPad and launched the netflix app. There was our movie at the top of the list ready to play. And it resumed from the same spot we left off before we went to dinner. The ipad netflix app worked well and saved our evening after our samsung netflix box seemed to have a case of temporary insanity.
Does anyone have experience using the AVI adapter Apple sells to play movies on a tv?Would the AVI cable be able to play Netflix movies I stream to the iPad 2?I want to skip buying another AppleTV (have an old one that doesn't have Netflix) and a while a Roku could get the job done, I want to avoid having more devices, if possible.
My Apple iPad (first generation) was playing Netflix fine until a few days ago when it suddenly disappeared. When I try to access Netflix from Safari, I get taken to the Apps store where it shows that it is already downloaded (grayed out).
