I have a jailbroken iPad 2 under 6.1.2 with a bunch of apps in it. I read that there's a jailbroken for iOS 7 so I figured I would update my iPad to 7 so I can jailbreak it again.
Well, I TOTALLY forgot that I can't just update the iOS from the iPad . So now, my iPad is stuck in Recovery Mode, and iTunes won't upgrade it. What I did was go to the Settings, and just update through the iPad. I didn't do it via iTunes.
My question is, is there still a way to get out of this Recovery Mode and still have my jailbroken system with all my apps back? If I cannot, should I just follow this guide?
I have already tried TinyUmbrella "Recovery Fix" and it just goes back to recovery mode. I have also tried with iREB-r7, and nothing. Also tried with the redsn0w tool, and same results . I have my iTunes backup.
My iPad is stuck in recovery mode and doesn't connect to iTunes....

My jailbroken IPAD 3G 64GB suddenly decided to go to the "Connect to Itunes" screen. The first time, I rebooted it and it was ok and came back to regular mode. After a few hours, its gone back to the "Connect to Itunes" screen, and this time, I have tried to connect it to itunes on my computer (to which it regularly gets synced) but as the ipad is password locked, the computer refuses to connect to it saying that the ipad is locked, and cannot be synced.
View 9 RepliesI installed iOS 5 Beta 1 on my iPad, then updated to Beta 2 with no problems. Today I decided to Update (Restore) to Beta 3. I let iTunes do it's thing (also Beta 3), and after it had finished installing it said that there was an unknown error and the iPad had not been restored. It then came up in iTunes in DFU Mode, and I tried again - No Luck. (My iPhone Updated Fine)
I then went and pressed Restore normally, and let iTunes download 4.3.3 and when it had finished it said it could not restore my iPad due to another unknown error. I also tried with another Mac, with iTunes 10.3.1, and it did the same thing.
My question is, really, is there any way I can fix it? It's a first gen iPad that was bought on UK Launch day (May 28th I think?), so it is out of warranty - but it is a Software fault, Apple's not mine.
My iPad is "stuck" in DFU mode. The screen is blank (black). I have connected it to iTunes several times to restore with no luck. I have held Home and Power button for at least thirty seconds with no response. I' ve done the same connected to computer while releasing Power after several seconds and computer recognizes. Any ideas short of an Apple store visit or call?

View 4 RepliesI am not able to rotate the screen of my newly bought iPad 2. Apart from that, the device is stuck on the portrait mode since two weeks. I have tried side switch and found that it has stopped working on my iPad. Is there any way by which we can activate the screen rotation as before?
View 11 RepliesThe problem is definitely related to the update... this pad has been babied (never dropped, etc.), and the issue began immediately after the update. All apps & everything are like this, and the screen never has spun to portrait since.
