After using it for more than an hour I plugged in my headphones , when I was browsing music started playing when I touched near the microphone it stopped then started again when I tilted my device it fast forwarded and I tried stopping it from the music app but it didn't work . After removing the headphones the music stopped.

ITunes keeps popping up, even when I am going into another app on my ipad and asking me for my password. The only thing I can figure is that it is still trying to download some music I bought and it burped part way through and not all the songs downloaded. I thought they had, but when I just tried to get into itunes it automatically went to "downloads" and is still trying to process some of them. I tried buying the music on Saturday As far as games and ibooks the connection has worked, but this was the first music I had tried to buy Question is.
View 4 RepliesI've updated my iPad to iOS 4.2.1. I'm getting a new behavior in the iPod/videos function. I have a video podcast with about 20 unwatched episodes. Until I did the upgrade, I would play an episode, it would end and would return to the menu screen. I liked this behavior, but now, under iOS 4.2.1, when the podcast episode ends, it proceeds right into the next one.I get it, some people might like it the way it is now, and that's fine. My deal is, that's obviously a behavior that's controlled via software. That parameter needs to be accessible to users, and it's not.First question: is there a secret handshake that will allow me to control this aspect of podcast playback? If not, what would be the process of engaging the iPod software folks to try to create something where such parameters can be made accessible?
View 5 RepliesMy mother passed away, and her memorial is this weekend. I have spent four days creating the slideshow of her life in pictures and am nearly finished. Unfortunately, now when I start up the Keynote app, the presentation plays automatically, on an endless loop. Nothing I do will stop it. I've tried tapping, sliding, quitting the app, restarting the iPad. Every time I start up Keynote, it starts the loop again. I can't even start over, because the Keynote app has been taken over.
View 1 RepliesI have a couple of games that, while my iPad is on stand by, sometimes will just launch by themselves and tell me to play now to collect some game bonus. I don't mean a notification , but the app actually launching, full game. What the heck? This is a waste of battery.
One is real racing 3, the other is fresh deck poker. EA's Scrabble also does this sometimes.
While purchasing apps via iTunes on my iPad 2, the available downloads on the relevant sites will start to download automatically into my iPad. For example, if I want to download HD movie via iTunes, then its SD version available on the site will automatically starts downloading into my iPad. How can I prevent them from getting downloaded automatically?

When I shut the iPad case and effectively close my iPad, and first having closed all apps, music starts playing. I open up my case and iPad then open the native Music app to see that the tune playing is active. As I said, I close all apps before I close my iPad. Nothing running in the background. I do have my Apple earphones plugged in.

Yesterday, I was on the other side of the room, and I heard music coming from the iPad and I hadn't touched it for over 18 hours!! When I opened the Smart Cover, I had to enter my password first, before I could even get to the iPod feature. When I opened that, I saw that the song which was playing, hadn't even been selected.

When i play music through airplay to my av receiver and turn off the receiver the music starts to play back on the ipad with ios8. I didnot have that happen with ios7. That is, i had a similar effect that when u unplug the earpods.

I can't tell if this is a bug or a feature, but either way, it's driving me a bit batty. I've got a 64gig iPad + 3G, and between a few playlists, it currently has 529 songs on it. Every single time I plug in my iPad, iTunes starts "Determining Gapless Playback Information" for every song on the iPad.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to disable this feature that I simply don't use?

View 1 RepliesMaybe I missed this in the iPhone but I noticed that when I unplug several of my headphone my music in the iPod application and video application pauses the music/video.Is this a feature or a bug? I suppose it keeps the sound from blaring out the iPad's speaker.Oddly enough I also noticed the volume slider on the touchscreen will move a little without me touching it.
