Jun 28, 2012My new iPad video playback freezes every few seconds. I have a decentish Internet speed (2.3MB) and have turned all apps off and even reset.

IPad 2 Freezes After Few Seconds While Using FaceTime?
Mar 31, 2012While using FaceTime, my sister-in-law's ipad 2 will freeze after 5-10 seconds. We have tested it in other locations (our house, Starbucks, etc) and it works fine. Her ISP (RCN) indicated her Internet service connection is 25mps. I've tried everything I can think of but can't resolve the issue. I am beginning to wonder if it is her combination cable modem/router. She has a Linksys Wireless-G Gateway model # wcg200 ver.2. Is there a list of equipment known to be dysfunctional with FaceTime?

Freeze For Few Seconds After Login
Apr 12, 2010I'm wondering who else is having this problem. At my school, you have to go through a login screen and whenever I enter my info then click "login" it just freezes for a few seconds and stays on the login page. Contacted customer support already and they suggested I see the IT department because he said it sounds like a problem on their end (old software or something), but like he said, there probably isn't anything they will do unless a lot of people report this problem.

I check auto lock but it is set to 5 minutes.
I change it to never, but it goes to sleep mode after 5 seconds.

Video Truncated After A Few Seconds
Jun 9, 2010In some cases (I.e. the recently updated NYTimes Editor's Choice app, the Newsy app, and even videos on Apple's website), a video I tap plays for a few seconds (e.g. 3 to 7) then stops, frozen, and just sits there. My own videos in the Videos app never have this problem. Anybody have any ideas what' going on here?

May 17, 2012I own a New iPad with 4G LTE and I'm using it with Rogers LTE but I have an issue with networks. Let me explain: At my girlfriend's house, there is excellent reception of LTE and I'm getting crazy fast speeds. However, when I left the house and I'm moving to a area where there is no LTE, my iPad always lose the network for a few seconds. It happens exactly at the moment that I'm not getting LTE reception. The second that I'm out of the LTE zone, I'm getting "Searching..." in my status bar for like 5 seconds and after, I'm on 3G.

IPad :: Keeps Rebooting Itself Every 10 Seconds Or So
Sep 3, 2014My iPad with retina screen started rebooting itself. I have tried resetting and restoring. The restore option will not allow me to proceed as "find my iPad" is active and I have no way of deactivating as the device reboots itself every 10 seconds or so.

As soon as I tap on the iPod ap it opens up, loads the program, and then immediately closes. I'm able to hit some of the buttons but even then it changes the page and then immediately closes anyways.
I tried the whole hold the power button and home button deal to power cycle the iPad but it still does it. Tried resetting my settings but no luck,

Start Up After 4.2 Upgrade Takes 28 Seconds?
Nov 27, 2010I uspsecy I'm in the camp with the hundrds of others that have posted about wifi slowness issues, but I wanted to step back and run this by you.
Yes apps are ruuing slower, but by wifi issues don't seem to be quite as significant as others.
My issue is particularly puzzling - I haven't seen any one refernce startup or boot up time on their ipad. Mine now takes 28 seconds (consistently) to "Start up" or "boot up" from the time I get the appple logo to the time I get the main screen. Two questions
(1) Is anyone else experiencing this signifcant degredation in boot up time?
(2) Does anyone know what it suggests?
My iphone 4 and all my other devices works just fine....
