I have an ipad2 wifi - 3G, after sync with itunes last night, when I turn on 3g , using different online apps my ipad shows "could not connect to server" or "please check your network connection", although the signal is full bars. When I use safari to load websites, after that message shown, it works sometimes, but sometimes it still shows that message and losts connection, this situation only appears when I use 3g

View 6 RepliesInternet access recently "blocked" using Safari on my Apple iPAD Mini. Screen message says Safari cannot load the page because the server not connected.
iOS 6.0.2 ? . The process starts to load but after a period of about 1 to 2mins. the above screen msg appears. Could this be to do with the Settings on my iPAD Mini ? Before this problem occurred it worked to my satisfaction. My iPAD is just over 1year old.

I'm new to the iPad. 2 problems I'm consistently encountering, and, it may have to do with being overseas? I am in a WiFi access area but get these 2 messages quite a bit, unlike at home. . "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding" (this seems to happen whenever
I try to open a link or attachment)
2. "No subject" in my inbox list. (Is there really a Message? Why bother to send an 'empty' email?)
I have a Three USB modem in the UK (mobile broadband zte mf112) which gives a good internet connection to my MacBook Air when I'm out and about. I thought it would be a simple matter to share this from my MBA to my Ipad (using internet sharing), but I just cannot make it work.
I can get the Ipad to connect to a wireless network set up by the MBA, but it doesn't connect to the internet saying the server isn't responding , or the Ipad isn't connected to the internet. If anyone has got this to work, i'd be grateful for some help..

iPad 2 has been getting mail fine until a day or 2 ago. I am now getting the Cannot get Mail The mail server "imap.gmail.com" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info into Mail settings. Nothing has not changed from when it was working. I finally deleted the gmail account and the exchange account and re-entered the correct data and it still will not work with same message. An email on the Gmail account came in on the exchange inbox but will not show on the gmail inbox to which it was sent with the same error message. My other email account at yousq.net seems to be working OK and uses the gmail server also.

View 1 RepliesOn Ipad2 Safari is not connecting to server. Tried to reboot ipad and it still does not go. The actual message is Safari could not open page because the server stopped responding. Other than doing a total reset and losing everything, what can be done?
View 2 RepliesI connected my broadband cable to DLink wireless router and then want to access internet from iPad. iPad is able to detect the Wifi in the router but not able to connect to the internet. I used the same setup with my laptop with vista and when i try to open a website with IE browser, it used to open a broadband connection window itself and ask for the username and password, and after entering it I am able to access the internet from my laptop through Wifi. But when i try to open a website with Safari in iPad, it doesn't ask for any username and password of my broadband connection and a popup comes saying "Server is not responding".I am new to Safari and very little networking knowledge.
View 2 RepliesWe have an iPad 2 of which is working very well. When I am away in either Spain or Barbados or at my home in Epping I get no problem with Safari responding, but when I am at work I connect into my works WiFi system where I can pick up my company e-mails. The issue that I have is Safari sometimes does not respond and gives the message "Safari could not open the required site as the server is not responding" WiFi signal is no issue. What I have to do is turn off the iPad the re-turn on again and it works. It is an operating system problem or could it just be the area I am in.
