In my process of learning I have tested on simulators, but would really like to test my apps on my IPad. But, I cannot currently afford the Apple Developer fee which would allow me to do this via the App Store.
And so, I am hoping there is a way for me to install my apps on my IPad without having to go through the App Store. None of the apps I am building will ever be sold on the App Store as they are only for learning purposes at this point. At the point where I finally get around to making a sellable app I will then purchase the developer license.
A few minutes ago i tried to install and app from the app store on my ipad2 and i click the install button on the app and then the password pop up comes and I put my password. Then it should start downloading but ipad comes back to the home screen and nothing happens.I tried reboot, restart and killing all the multitask apps, but still nothing.
I'm having this tedious problem with my New iPad (which is also "new" because I bought it a few days ago). Whenever I install apps from the App Store, instead of keeping me in the store (which instead happens on my iPhone 4 with iOS 6), it kicks me out and returns me to home screen. Is there a way I can prevent this? Or is it a known problem of iPad 3? Or is it just mine?
Something strange. I can't update or install anything anymore on my iPad using the App Store app. No problems if I download the app from iTunes and sync. My settings are fine since I get update messages for applications. So it must log in on the server somehow. When I try to install or update it just tells me that "an unknown error has occurred", which of course doesn't help me much. I can't even log in on Apple Support Discussions because Safari (on the iPad) tells me that "an internal Server Error Has Occurred", which still doesn't help me much.
I am using iPad 1 and never updated it to the iOS 5. It is loaded with iOS 4 and I don't have any problem with this.Actually I purchased some apps but it shows that they are downloading but after some times download disappears and thus fails to install the apps.It continues doing the same when I try to download these purchased apps. What should I do now? Please guide..
I just got my brand new iPad from the US today... But, impossible to install any application, as the apps tap in iTunes is totally greyed out... All applications previously downloaded for my iPhone are ticked but I can't "untick" any box. The only thing I can do on the tap is ticking the global "Sync" little box : but when I do, iTunes just crashes...
Any idea why I can manually manage my applications, even those I bought specifically for the iPad?
Other important info : as I'm a French iPad user, I can't access the appstore, so I can't download and install applications directly from the device... I have to use iTunes and to sync from the computer.
My question is - if I do this, and download some apps over the 3G network before I get home, will there be any problems when syncing with my Mac? Will the apps that I've downloaded be in danger of being wiped out? Do I need to set up this freshly-installed copy of iTunes with my iTunes store name and password before activation?I imagine that there wouldn't be a problem but if anyone knows for sure
I have three or four apps that will not install. Everytime I go to install something new it tells me unable to purchase and a shadow of the app shows. It will not give me the x or become wobbly. Where can I go to totally delete them? I have an iPad and I think they were iPhone only apps.
I have just updated my iPad 2 to iOS 5.1 from iOS 4.3.5. Whenever I try to download and install apps from the app store they just get stuck at "Waiting". Sometimes they get stuck for 3-5 hours or just don't download and just stay at "Waiting". I am having to use a Windows PC to send this Message on the forums as I can't download the forum app.
Just got my new iPad 3G. Can't install apps. A white box pops up and says loading, but nothing ever happens. I have tried to install dropbox, sugarsync, and a few other apps, and they all do the same thing.
i get a message saying cannot install app. I HAVE 1.4 GB OF STORAGE AND IT STILL WONT LET ME INSTALL IT. I get a message like this when I try to. it says unable to install app.'Flick Champions HD cannot be installed at this time'then it has retry or done. I press retry and it STILL comes up with that message. What to do.I Am on an IPad 3 and I am running IOS 7.1.2 as well.
Not sure if this was already addressed but I couldn't find anything using search, so here's my issue...
I bought and installed a few apps on my ipad. Next morning when I hook it up to my PC it says there's some issue with the ipad and it needs to restore it, so I did the restore. After the restore though, when I went to the apps tab I don't see the apps I installed the other day. I went to my account and sure enough they show up there as purchases. I tried going to the app store (through both itunes and ipad) to see if a download button shows up, but instead I see the buy button and when I click it, it asks me if I'm sure I want to buy it (was thinking maybe it'll say something like "you already bought this, do you want to install?").
So what do I do? I tried checking for available downloads but it says I got everything. I ain't about to pay again for those apps, and apple does have a record of me buying them so why the heck are they not showing up on my app list?
While I'm having no problems opening iTunes or the iTunes store, I'm unable to update any of my apps on either my iPhone or iPad. I get a message prompt when I click "update" that says "can't connect to the iTunes store". I can purchase music and books in the iTunes store, but it won't let me update my apps.
When I bought my Ipad 2, the guys from the store installed for me some apps & games (both paid & free) with their accounts on their PC. They warned me not to sync the ipad with the Itunes on my own PC because it would delete all the apps they installed for me. Also, they said if I want to install any new app, I can only do it locally on my ipad, not through Itunes on my PC. Is there anyway to bypass this without deleting their apps?
specifically, the latest version of netflix blows because it no longer has the 'resume' list of movies. to get back to that movie, one has to searching all over again, which is a pain if you're like me and are moving between several movies at a time.
For some reason, after jailbreaking my iPad, I can't get apps to update or install. I'm talking about legitimate purchased or free apps, not pirated apps.Fo instance with the ABC Player, I'm getting this error in iTunes: The application "ABC Player" was not installed on the iPad because it could not be verified.I also get an error when I try to install or update an app directly on the iPad's app store.I tried several different apps and it's happening every time.....All my existing apps are working fine on the iPad, but I'm only getting this when I try to install or update an app.
I bought new iPad 2 yesterday. I opened App Store to download a game. I was asked to give my iTunes password. I did so. I then had to go through a verification process, including giving certain credit card details, because there are multiple devices using my id. iTunes wouldn't verify & a message said I had to contact iTunes support.
Good Day We need to Deploy 200 Ipad apps to our field workers. We have tried doing this with the Iphone Configuration utility for the following Apps without any success on Ipad 3's running IOS 5.1.1. We have imported the .ipa files for each application into the ICU. Junos Pulse Find My Iphone After deploying the apps, when clicking on the apps they open momentarily with a black screen and just return to the home page. Can anyone possibly advise how to do deploy these apps. We are desperate for a mass deployment solution due to bandwidth considerations and time constraints. The documentation provides no recourse for us. I dont understand how Apple cannot provide IT with a mass deployment solution to do stuff like this.
