How do you add new mailboxes to the iPad and can you direct certain emails to the designated box like in Mac Mail?

I have an iPad that I have to start using at work. We are currently working on updating some of our excel documents to the ipdad and I need to know if there is an app that will allow the use of dropdown boxes. A lot of our documents ask questions and the possible answers are in dropdown boxes.
View 2 RepliesThe user guide tells us that I can set up a new mailbox by tapping edit and then tapping New Mailbox. But on my i-pad no New Maibox comes up to tap. Has anyone else had this problem? peter8

I hope this topic hasn't been "done to death", I find that many boxes that you would normally use a mouse to scroll through, don't work on iPad. Is there a work around for this? Is the flaw on behalf of those websites or the iPad?
View 3 RepliesHow do I scroll through text boxes? I find when I quote something long it doesn't automatically scroll to the bottom to where I can reply?
View 1 RepliesDoes anyone know any better way to navigate through text boxes or even the address bar? For example, I use GoodReader a lot and have a beast of a time getting my cursed to the beginning of my address bar. The problem is when you click on the address bar (or any text box) that is where the cursor goes (obviously) but there is no easy way to move the cursor to a location in the text that cannot be seen (like the beginning of the address bar). If anybody has ideas or methods please share!

So, I took a PDF file, uploaded it to an online PDF editor, downloaded it back to my PC, transferred it to Google Docs and to iBooks and I am having issues. When I open it in iBooks, the drop down boxes I added are not there. When I go to open it in the downloaded app PDF Reader, it crashes and closes.
View 1 RepliesMy brand new ipad has locked on a draft email which means I can't access any of my mail boxes.

For the second time now, the sidebar in mail on my ipad seems to be out of whack. All that is showing is draft and trash. I can't scroll up to find the inbox and sent folders listed. This means I can't access my emails -- only drafts and my trash. Any ideas what to do? The first time I fixed it be just turn to a different view (either from landscape to portrait or vice versa) and htat fixed. That's not working this time.

I can't for the life of me figure out or find any reference in the Guides to how the extra boxes are created in the iPad Mail into which I can MOVE emails I want to retain on the iPad.
View 2 RepliesOK so I was browsing some photos in my iPad (Current Gen) on the 500px photo app. The app became unresponsive and was missing buttoms normally there, so I clicked the home button and got to the home screen. Once I did this, I was unable to scroll between my home screens. Every time I touch the screen, a rectangular box appears the app nearest to where I am touching. If I touch an app, it will not open, I can barely get in to settings. I plugged in to itunes and did a restore but it did the same thing. I powered it off and on a few times and the same things happens. When I touch the slide to unlock, a rectangular box displays around the slide to unlock and it takes several swipes before responding. This rectanuglar box floats around and it takes 20 clicks to get in to settings.

When I go to 'Settings' and click on 'Mail, Contacts, Calender' it kicks back to screen on which 'Settings' icon sits. Thus i am unable to delete mail boxes.Nor can I edit Mail box settings (which have changed) as when I click 'Settings' in Mail it again kicks me back to screen which holds 'Settings' icon.

For those of you lucky people in the US that haven't already excitedly ripped open the boxes their iPad's were shipped in - would it be possible to get the dimensions and the shipped weight? I'm sure it would help those wanting to get it shipped via something like Bundlebox (me included
View 9 RepliesI'm working with some engineers on a new website, and I just noticed that the html scroll box fully extends when I look at it on the iPad or iPhone. I.e., it loses the scroll and the box just extends to show all content. Of course, Flash scroll boxes won't work, but I know some scroll bars do work, because there are working scroll boxes of some kind in the email program.
What type of scroll box is that in the email program? What type of scroll boxes work on iPads? I just need the correct term for the engineer.

View 5 RepliesI'm a designer taking my first step into creating Themes for jailbroken iOS devices. One problem I'm having, however, that I can't find a solution to are these black boxes around custom icons that I'm creating. As you can see the Camera.app worked fine - but Facebook is showing this box around it. How I can get rid of this?
View 5 RepliesUsing Mac Safari, radio buttons and check boxes can be toggled by clicking text and images that are labels for the button. On the iPad, the text labels do not toggle the buttons (image labels do). Is there a place to fix that in the safari configuration? Is that a bug? a feature? Since it works as I'd expect on the Mac, it appears to be a deliberate change.
