I've had my ipad2 for over a year, but over the past few weeks I've noticed that images in Twitter, Facebook, and others will often show up as boxes with blue question marks. Is it a memory thing? Do I need to delete stuff?
This problem of mine started around one month ago. That time, My iPad hanged when iTunes was backing it up, I've waited like two hours and nothing changed, so I do a hard reset (holding both home and sleep button). Everything seems okay after that, but only until I realised when playing Stinktopia, some of the buildings' images are gone / not ahowing. Actually it is there, clickable, but only invisbile.
So I exchanged emails with the support and they said, everything's fine, so the problem must be on my iPad and the hard-reseting while it hanged might have caused it. They said that, "Your issue is that the game's image sheets are not completely loading." then come to think of it, when I opened my video library, some of the thumbnail images are gone and replaced by a screen icon.
I am having trouble on loading images on both my Ipad, Iphone and Ipod. Sometimes the images that are supposed to be on the page are visable but other times not. when the page loads the images are usually visable but when the page is done loading the images will dissappear. As i said the images will sometimes be viewable but that is approximetly 1 out of 10 times. does anybody experience similar problems or have a soloution for this problem?
I teach architectural history at a local university, and use .ppt presentations for my lectures.File sizes range from 20 MB to 45 MB.I store all of my files in Dropbox, since I am constantly switching between my MBP and the university's PCs in various classrooms and need to be able to save edited versions back to Dropbox.I have an iPad, and would love to use it for reviewing .ppt presentations before class (i.e, not to edit, just view). The problem is that, at about 20 MB or so, which is generally about half the file, images don't load anymore. The .ppt slides (and usually text) load, but about halfway through, no images.I've inquired on Apple Discussions, but no solution. Is there a maximum file size that I'm bumping up against? Solutions which involve me having to download onto the iPad via iTunes are not satisfactory, as that version of the file isn't stored in Dropbox, and won't have subsequent edits.
I transfered my images to ipad from my computer using itunes. today, i want to save some more images to my ipad, when i did it i saw all previous images was deleted and only new images of today is saved. can any one guide me how i transfer images to ipad and all previous images must be saved.
I had this ipad for about 5months, the ipad ran very smooth with web pages opening very fast and you tube videos loading up with no lag and no stopping.
since last week, it started acting up last week not opening web pages and not loading you tubes videos all the way.
1.My safari browser and other browsers have problems loading pages most of the time. the pages load up 25% and then it takes awhile before they continue to load. Very slow. i did clear the history/ cache and cookies. didnt help.
2.My you tube videos now load up to 15secs and then stops. then it takes awhile for them to continue to half way and stops again.i never had this problem before. Before videos would never stop and would load smoothly while playing the video.

I have been using Twitter, Dropbox and Evernote apps on my iPhone successfully for month - but neither of the iPad apps will work on my iPad. Cannot login. The apps either say wrong password or system error. Accounts still work on iMac and iPhone so username and passwort are definitely correct. Anybody got an idea?? Love the iPad but it is a shame I cannot use the most valuable apps.
Been lurking since i had the idea of getting the ipad, now I got my ipad 2 and very happy with it -- it instantly replaced my laptop for daily use! Anyway, been using the thing for a week now and installed the Twitter app on day one- no problems since then but last night it started crashing. I reinstalled the app, restarted the device couple of times but no luck. I load up the app, sign in, it tries to update the timeline and bam its back on homescreen. App seems to be running on the background tho. I'm running ios 4.3 on a 16 GB iPad 2 Wi Fi.
When creating a tweet and exiting before complete, I am able to save the tweet as a draft. However, when I go back to the draft (thru New Tweet) and click on it, it just disappears. I am unable to bring it back up to edit and send.
Several days ago, the send key in the Twitter app for iPad in DMs magically disappeared. I had no problem sending DMs from my phone, but I could not send anything via iPad.Â
To be clear, I am using a Bluetooth Mac keyboard for my iPad - I do not use the virtual keyboard unless I am using my iPad elsewhere.Â
I read on the forum that having the split-keyboard option may, in fact, hide the send key. WHY this was turned on to begin with, I don't know, but I found I did have the option turned on, so I turned off and hard rebooted my iPad. It didn't fix the problem.Â
What I found was that if I hit the key on my keyboard to bring up my virtual keyboard on my iPad, the send key for DMs appears on the screen. I then hit that key again to turn off virtual keyboard, and the send key is still there and able to be used.Â
I don't know if this is a Twitter bug or an Apple bug. This problem did NOT correspond with a Twitter update or an iOS update.
I hear there there are around 5000 apps for the iPad. How would anyone even know -- I mean, for me, I find the whole store small and cumbersome.Even on the Mac in iTunes, I find the store poor.I cannot imagine being a developer and trying to generate sales if you are not a top tier publisher.I get more new app info from appshopper, touch arcade, and Twitter.
I am Satyveer from Chandigarh.I am a proactive Tweeter and in fact till now I have stored most of my contacts on Twitter. But I had to open Twitter everytime for retrieving contacts. So I have decided to transfer my contacts from Twitter to my iPad. Give the detailed steps to transfer Twitter Contacts on my iPad.
I have four email account on my Blackberry, and each has been assigned a different alert/tone. I also have different ones for Twitter (separate tones for mentions and DMs), etc, etc... Now, I'm trying to figure out how something similar on the iPad2, but can't seem to do it from the settings section(it looks like I can only have one alert for all my email accounts).
I have just tried to copy a link from the native twitter app using the 'copy link' button which appears at the bottom of an open page when you open a hyperlink direct from a tweet, my iPad does copy the link but I cannot then paste it into the body of an email, I can however paste it into the subject line. I am using the normal mail app. why is this and is there a way around it other than opening the link in safari, copying the link and pasting again.
Any Twitter users here? I'm just getting organized for Twitter and successfully changed my username on the desktop PC and then the profile pic but neither change appears in the iPad app. Strangely the new website URL updated automatically and a few tweets show that I did from the desktop. I go to Profile, Edit Profile, change the name but still no update. I tried changing the photo to the exact same one I used on the PC and that didn't take.
I Am unable to get access to my photos when using the iPad app for Twitter. After I click on attachment, a photo of a lock comes on and it says go to privacy settings. When I go there it only says settings with limited options, none that say privacy. This is only happening with the Twitter App.
