I'm having problems with the screen on my iPad and was wondering if this is a common issue as I've already taken one back with exactly the same problem. If I'm surfing the internet for more than 10 minutes and then quit back to the home screen and rotate the screen I am left with a faint image of the top navigation (battery status/time etc) where it was when the screen was previously rotated the other way. This then lasts for a number of hours when the iPad is switched off to fade (the length of time varies depending on how much I've been using my iPad)
Is it possible to burn an image into an iPad mini screen? I know ipad two had a LCD and LCDs aren't Known for burn ins I've seen YouTube videos are iPad 2s get burned in and iPad 2s have the exact same screen as ipad mini just larger. So if I leave my iPad mini screen on all night with the image get Burned in or will it be ok?
I've noticed lately that when ever I'm using any thurs party app weather it be Facebook or Google Earth or even the native Safari app, upon closing said app and returning to my main "Spring board". I notice that there is a faint image burn of the previous app at the top of the screen my the clock. The faint "image burn" is typically of the app's search box. I've already cleared out any apps running in the background, relaunched the app that causes the image burn and force quit the app, and even restarted the device. I haven't noticed this "issue" in the past until updating to iOS 5.1.1.
I thought I had read somewhere that IPS panels and even cell phones can still experience screen burn-in if a static image is left up for prolonged periods of time.So as dumb as this may sound, is there a concern with this on the ipad if, say, I am using an app like Dock Clock or similar while the ipad is docked and charged/charging?I tried a search and got nothing so I assume maybe a) yeppers, dumb question b) no worries. However, rather get some other opinions before I relax.
I'm having with my iPad. After using safari for a while, or sometimes even just a few minutes, I go back to my home screen and see a ghost image of the search bar and whole top navigation bar on my home screen. Also, today I had pandora open for about 5 minutes and went back to the home screen just to find that the whole lower half of the screen had ghost images of the text and sidebar.
I'm starting to see screen burn on my iPad 2.. Its at the top of the screen where the Address bar lies in safari. I thought this was unheard of on iPad 2's?
I would like to run a clock program 24/7 on my iPad but I am concerned about screen burn-in. There are a number of areas on this clock that do not change positions and I am concerned they may cause permanent burn-in. I can find opinions and guesses but I would like to know if anyone has ever run across anything official from Apple addressing this. Opinions range from "never happen" to "yes but it'll go away eventually". I would love to hear something official.
I recently downloaded Night Stand HD, then it occurred to me that the clock display would remain on all night. The auto-lock feature needs to be disabled for the alarm to work. Do I need to be concerned about screen burn with the iPad display? I know the latest LCD displays are not susceptible to it, but I want to be sure before I start using it. The app has a dimming feature, but I'm not sure if that is enough protection.
I am experiencing screen burn on the iPad 2. I find that my keyboard becomes imprinted into the screen after use as well as my status bar having a constant shadow in other applications.
How do you rotate images that either are imported incorrectly or are off by 90 degrees within the iPad Photo Gallery. I can try to rotate them with two fingers but it snaps back to the incorrect position. Is there a trick?
Is it possibly to change (or create a new) portrait image on my iPad screen?

Keyboard Disappears From Screen While Inserting Image
Jul 5, 2011
I just bought PAGES and was disappointed to discover there seems to be no way to do horizontal pages. So I moved to KEYNOTE. All was going well with inserting images and putting in cutlines and then suddenly I can't get it to call up the keyboard. I think I'm doing everything I did before but the keyboard does not appear when I go into the "tape here to add text" fields.

The camera seems to take its own pictures or keep crashing. The front camera works great. Has anyone seen this before?Pardon the flash flare but here is an photo of what I am seeing.[url]
IPad Air :: Photo App - Image Automatically Fills Screen When Finished Cropping
Apr 9, 2014
When cropping an image the functionality is such that the image automatically fills the screen when finished. How do I stop that? I want to keep the image the same size as it was , just eliminate the extra space around it.
IPad :: Black Screen Only Showing Image Of Charging Lead And ITunes Logo
Dec 2, 2014
I have recently upgraded the software on my iPad second generation and now it's totally unresponsive . There is a black screen showing a lead needing to be connected to iTunes. I have tried a reset but nothing and it won't switch off or on.
IPad 2 :: Clickable Symbol/image/text, Which Will Open And Play Video In Full Screen
Aug 21, 2011
I need to create an interactive presentation with a specific functionality. I need a clickable symbol/image/text, which will open and play video in full screen, then return to the same slide. Also will need slides with clickable images that will open new slides with an in-depth info, and then being able to return to the original/mother slide. I've tried Kenote, but couldn't do that. Maybe I'm missing something - I'm new to iPad. Do I need some other programs (I have PC) to first create my presentation and then somehow convert it to iPad 2? Can I do that in Power Point and then open and convert it in Keynote? Would that work?
