I use the Daily News app and noticed that it didn't seem to be connecting for a download so I stopped it and tried to shut down the iPad thinking that a new start up might clear the problem.
"Cut the rope" app update got stalled for over a day. I tried to fix it by restarting, resetting etc. I removed the app from my ipad hoping to make the installing update go away but it is still there.
So now when I go back to the app store to reinstall the app, I get the updating sign.
So now I'm stuck without the app and with a crazy undying update.
I have the 128gb Air, and the wifi keeps getting hung up in loading, and I have to keep going into settings, and turning the wifi off then back on, and then the internet page or email loads up instantly. I have turned off my ipad, I have even unplugged my router and nothing fixes this.
IPad 2 On 5GHZ Wi-Fi - Lot Of Webpages Get Hung Out
Apr 20, 2011
Has anyone noticed Safari issues when browsing on a 5GHZ band? I have a turbo connection with Time Warner + DIR-825 router, but a lot of webpages get hung out (do not properly load) when I am browsing on my iPad2.. I just got it yesterday so I haven't had a lot of time to use it, or really compare it that much with 2.4GhZ. Any reason a 5ghZ would be slower on iPad?
After working perfectly for 6 weeks, my ipad safari seems hung up. The google search function works, i.e. it finds a site corresponding to the search words, but the "touch screen" function is froozen/gray below the "Web Images Videos ..etc. line. Nor will it go to the other active safari screens.
This morning my email application hung. Was trying to open an attachment the mail just froze. Can still operate all other applications. What would be the steps to overcome the problem?
i jailbroke my ipad (ver 3.2.2) but decided to restore it. After syncing, saw that limera1n still there n tried to reset thru settings. After selecting "Erase all content n settings" , my ipad went blank n started to reboot (ie apple logo with round spiral) , but it hung after that.tried holding power n home button for more than 10secs n the same thing happened.
This morning my iPad Mini offered to update iOS and I accepted. An hour later it is stuck at about 33%. I have connected it to power to give it time to complete but I don't think that its going to happen.
When I try to send a new message it starts and then gets hung at about the very end I then get a message saying not delivered . If I receive a message I seem to be able to reply and keep the conversation going . If say the next day I delete the whole conversation and try to start a new one to another ipad the message gets hung up
Ok i sent a message to my daughters Ipad min wifi from my iphone 4 . She answered right away and We kept the conversation going on the phone
I had a look at my Ipad mini wi fi only and it was there under messages . I switched to the ipad and we messagesed a little bit no problem with the going back and forth . We said good bye. Why can't I start a new message and have it go.
Hung / Reboot / Connect To Itune Screen Is Looping?
Apr 9, 2010
I have experienced an issue where the iPad hung and needed to be rebooted. After the reboot, the connect to iTunes screen appeared and would not go away until connected. After connecting, a screen popped up stating information was being sent to Apple to help resolve an issue.
This happened again later on when playing a movie. The previous time was just starting ipod app.The above action pretty much rendered the iPad to paper weight status until connected to iTunes again.
During Upgrade Process It Looked Like The Process Was Hung Up?
Nov 26, 2010
Well in the process of upgrading to 4.2 I had to do the following:
Painfully wait through 8 hours of backing up the iPad
During the upgrade process it looked like the process was hung up and I pulled and recoonectednthe USB cable. By doing this I had to restore the iPad. No worries right? I just had the entire iPad backed up.
Well, after restoring and upgrading I found that there were many apps that were missing. I'm surprised that the restore didn't bring the iPad back to where it was before the upgrade. I estimating that about half of the apps are missing.
I have a really strange issue. Here is my system info:iPad 3G + Wifi 16GB. Windows 7 Professional x64 iTunes (Latest version) Windows XP Professional x86 iTunes (Latest version) The problem I'm having, is if I plug my iPad into either of the above systems, it shows up in iTunes fine, and I can sync to it easily enough, but about 60 seconds after plugging it in, it reboots and gets into a reboot loop which can only be broken with a hard reset. Same thing if it starts up after a reset plugged in. Fine for 60 seconds, then restarts continuously.
Oddly, if I start it up unplugged, or if I connect it to a powerpoint, it's fine and runs with no problem. This started seemingly randomly yesterday evening.
Trying to see if the iPad can be setup as a digital picture frame when guests arrive. I found the slide show option but it doesn't appear like this function loops. Is there a setting somewhere that I'm missing?
So, my company just purchased an iPad and we are wanting to use it to loop a nice video at trade shows. As of now, we need to keep hitting the play button after the video plays once through. Wondering if there is a work around anyone knows of where we get the video to loop or repeat consecutively.
I try to sync but always get the 'other library' question 'Do you want to erase this iPad?' I do the right click Back Up.
the other one about authorize this computer but then after sync half my apps are gone and I have to restore from back up and then it asks again if I want to erase this iPad! Maybe I need to erase the iPad and start all over again?
My iPad 2 is stuck in a set up loop on iOS beta 5. I have a dev account so that is not the issue here. Once the iPad finishes the set up load all my apps and such and the before I can tap anything goes back to the set up process. Pretty sure I just need to restore and be done with it, but I don't really want to since I am lazy and don't ever back up and haven't done a back up since I did the upgrade to iOS 5.
