I've owned my iPad for a few weeks now and there's something that I've noticed that I sincerely hope is only temporary. When typing a word, if one makes a mistake midway through and needs to correct it (for example if I type "constitutional" and accidentally write "constetutional") it doesn't seem to be possible to tap the middle of the word to move the type bar and correct the mistake. Similarly frustrating, if you wanted to add an "anti" at the beginning, to make "anticonstitutional", you can't just click the beginning of the word. It really looks like you have to erase the entire word just to make these minor corrections, which should be quick and painless.
I was wondering if there was a way to write some text in images with a cydia tweak. But not hand written text, perhaps a tweak or app that lets you write the text from the keyboard then choose the font size and bold or underlined or something like this.

Dictate Or Write Notes To Text, Then Transfer From IPad To Mac Word ?
Jun 4, 2012
I need to dictate or write notes to text, then transfer from iPad to Mac word. Is there an app or combination to accomplish this? I am still writing field notes on a steno pad and then retyping into word docs.
I am a minister and have access to several sites with Bible translation. With my iPad I cannot seem to select text so I can copy and paste it into Pages. These sites are public domain so there is no copyright problem. I can do this on my MacBook Pro with Safari, but not with iPad Safari. Any ideas why not. I actually was able to do it once, but then I could not duplicate the action. Information : MacBook Pro 2.2 Ghz. Mac OS X (10.6.2).
Apps :: Write Text / Import Pictures Then Email And Read In Word
May 1, 2013
Looking for an app to Write text, import pictures either from album or camera.
I then want to be able to email the document.
I want to then either, open the content using ms word, or be able to cut content from the email into word.
Evernote looked like it might do this, but I can't cut and paste into word as the pictures don't show up.
Important, the pictures must stay where they were put relative to the text. Onenote looked like it might do, but it moves the pix to the end of the email.
IPad 3 - Cannot Select Text On Safari Search Results Page
May 8, 2012
I'm using an Ipad 3 I have safari sset to use the google search in settings but when I search for something and it shows the results page I can only select links holding my finger on the text below the link does nothing. Sometimes the answer I'm looking for is in the text and I can just copy it instead of having to click the link to see it.
IPad 3 :: Can't Select Text On A Safari Search Results Page
May 8, 2012
when I do a search in safari, and it lists all the pages, I cannot select text.
It will only let me select the link not the text under it. I have the search engine set for google. touching and holding my finger on any text but a link does nothing.
Last night at an Apple store, I tested out one of the iPad on display. While I was using the YouTube app, I clicked on the search box at the upper right corner. To my surprise, instead of a keyboard a write box popped up at the bottom. So with my index finger I wrote a Chinese character and it successfully recgonized what I was trying to write. It then went on with the search and I found the youtube videos I want. This feature sold me the iPad on the spot. After I came home I tried to set my iPad up with this feature (the write box) but I cannot find it anywhere in settings.

I've been using Text+ to send and receive free text messages almost a week now. I am so impressed that I decided to buy the ad free version. It works exactly like the free version but minus the ads.I love the interface. It looks similar to iChat or like the messaging app on my iPhone. And best of all you get FREE unlimited texts!
Converting Handwritten Text To Digitized Text On IPad 2
Jun 4, 2012
I want to create handwritten notes on my iPad 2 and convert them into digitized text for sharing via e-mail and social networking sites. How can I do that?
My MS has progressed and I'm spending much more time in bed or with my legs up.
I'd like to replace my "Newish" MBP 15" with an iPad because in Bed, I watch movies, read RSS feeds to Blogs and type emails and write in my own Blog. I plan to be writing more.
So, with the wireless keyboard in bed, on my belly, I'm not sure how I would write and keep the iPad up.
Information: Mac OS X (10.6.3) iMac, MBP, MB, 3Gs, ATVs, Time Cap
I am considering an iPad, and key decision point for me would be the ability to use my iPad as a note book to take handwritten notes during meetings etc that I can later format to electronic "typed" notes etc..is there an app that allows me to do this?
How difficult of a process is this? I have a great idea for an app that people that fell into its niche would really benefit from but don't know if making one is a huge undertaking. Any thoughts? The app itself would be based on boy scout badges and would be made for den leaders but usable for parents too. I found a couple poor excuses for this app and would really like to find out more about creating one.
I work at best buy and we use worksheets to take quick notes on. I was wondering if their was an app that would allow you to scan a file and save it as a PDF and be able to write on it and wifi print.
Also is their an app that you can use your handwriting and hit a button on the app and the app itself would make the handwriting neater and organized for note taking purposes or if you can use this feature with the PDF I mentioned before that would be awesome
Anyone want to chime in on their experiences with some of the note taking apps and pens out there like penultimate or noteshd and pogo's etc? I'm trying to find the best cominbation out there that will let me hand write notes on the ipad and save them.
I am looking for an app that will allow me to write / print freehand on the Ipad and will recognize / convert the writing to a text document. Is anyone aware of any apps that will do that?
