How To Re-register To A New User?
The company I work for is thinking of donig a raffel for iPads. The idea is to register the iPad under the companies name and then at a convention, have users sign up with them on the iPad to get their information. By entering their information they enter themselves in a raffel to give the iPad they used as a giveaway.
Is there a way we can first register the iPad's with the companies name and then once we raffel them off, register it with the person who won the raffel?

I got an ipad for a friend of mine but i get to use it for a few days. So can i register the ipad on my account and then when i hand it to him can he re-register the ipad? I understand the warranty will start on the day i register it but will he be able to have it on his itunes account? Information: IPAD

Unable To Register?
Don't think I like Apples new Express Lane and the "My Support Profile" as doesn't show my iPad, or my wifes or either of my AppleTVs yet when I go to register says its already registered to another customer yet under "Recent Cases" it shows my iPad and serial number and called in they were able to verify its registered to this Apple ID they have no clue why not showing up under My Products and then even funnier is on the left hand side it says:"We're sorry, you are signed in with an Apple employee or contractor account that cannot be edited with My Support Profile."so wont let me edit phone numbers wont let me check VoicePass or SMS... And they have no clue whats going on there either.....

Not Register With Device
I updated to iTunes 10 earlier today and now my iPad does not register at all in iTunes Devices pane when I try to sync it. The iPhone 4 syncs perfectly. Do I just wait for Apple to sort out the problem with iTunes 10.

Unable To Register Account
I was trying to register my wife's iPad, using her iTunes account. It said that the ID didn't match the password no matter what I did, including resetting the password several times.What is odd, is that we were able to download apps directly to the iPad by typing in the new password on the iPad. In other words, iTunes seems to recognize the iPad, the account and the password, but it keeps asking us to register the iPad each time we try and sync. So,it seems to be partially registered.

Registration And 3G - Register Without Using A Computer?
Before leaving on vacation, I forgot to sign up for 3G (iPad 1) for the first time. Now I try and the sign up panel rejects my card or address or something. In iTunes, I have always clicked the "Register Later" button when connecting the iPad, so I thought maybe AT&T was not liking the missing registration, but when I went to apple.com, they listed my serial number as already having been registered. Would that be from when I bought it (at Best Buy)? Is there a way to register without using a computer? Or is the registration irrelevant to the carrier?

Cannot Get Its Device ID To Register W/ Dev Account?
I installed the ios 5 beta on my ipad 2, before registering my Ipad2 w/ our dev account. The install went fine, until it came time for activation. I get the error: We're unable to complete your activation. This device is not registered as a part of the Iphone Devleoper Program. I know where to go in the iOS dev center to register the device, however both my iPad and iPad section of iTunes shows this message, so I have no way of getting the UDID to put it in the dev center? I'm handcuffed!! I need the device ID to activate iOS 5, but I cannot access it from iTunes or the iPad. another way to access the device ID to register my ipad w/ the Dev center?

OS 4.2 Startup Lockout / Won't Register To Computer?
I upgraded my Ipad last night to OS 4.2 and now all it will do is show the initial startup screen from when I bought it. It shows the USB end of the connection wire with an arrow pointing to the iTunes symbol. When I connect my Ipad to a computer however it does not even register on the computer or the Ipad that it is connected. My version of iTunes is current and updated and I have tried it on the same 3 computers I've been connecting it to since I bought it. Anybody have any suggestions for me?

All Other Operating Systems Are Not Significant To Even Register
A report out shows that 80% of new enterprise mobile devices being activated are running iOS, and only 20% are running Android. All other operating systems are not significant to even register. Even more interesting, 97.3% of tablet activations in enterprise are iPads. Based on these numbers, Apple has picked up the gauntlet that RIM threw away, and has run away with it.

IPad 2 Won't Connect To Store Or Register
got ipad 2 wifi and 3g today. Got home all excited, connected to my wifi fine and check emails and browse safari no problem, however when i go to the app store and click install on an app i get 'cannot connect to store'. Also when i connect to itunes i cannot register the ipad and it says try again later. I have restored the ipad but it has made no difference!

Unable To Register Ipad With Mobile Me Website
Just set up mobile me for the sole purpose of tracking my Ipad if lost, it is within the free trial period. I have registered an account and confirmed this by logging in and recieving the email. I have followed the instructions to connect my Ipad which is to add the account and allowed find my Ipad. However when i go to the Mobile Me website to find the Ipad i login, switch the app to the find my Ipod. No luck as it says i need to register the device which i have.

No User Accounts?
My apologies if this has been covered off before, I've searched but I couldn't find it.I've finally taken the plunge (thanks to Black Friday discounts) and bought an iPad. I was going to wait until v2...There will be multiple users of this device in our home, the idea being it sort of sits handily around, and can be used by all. It has dawned on me that as it uses iOS4 - like my iPhone - will there be multiple user accounts, so we can all use our own email, prefs, bookmarks etc. Or will it be like the iPhone - one account?If there is no multiple account support - it's going back to Apple unopened!

How Do I Find Out The User Name?
Apparently I have two accounts on my iPad. 1) When I tried to sync my purchases from the iTunes Store from my iPad to my (brand new) iMac I got a message that 18 of my 40 couldn't be synced. I needed to authorize my computer. Well, I only have one account, or so I thought. 2) When I tried to sync my "info" (address book, etc) I got the message, "the information on the iPad is synced with another user account". That IS news to me. I did try logging out and in with my three email accounts but nothing. I really don't know. I was looking through the settings pane on the iPad trying to find information on who this mysterious account is. Any suggestions? I c o u l d delete everything but I'd rather not. User Not Available For FaceTime?
Well, the problem is my friend can face time me, but I can't. He's got an iPod touch and I've got an iPad 3 and an iPod Touch. He can Face Time me, I can't. It won't let me FaceTime him on my iPod or my iPad. It always says '[user] is not available for FaceTime', which is practically rubbish, because he is. He can phone me, we can chat but I can't phone him back later. We have both got FaceTime and wifi enabled. We both know each other's emails. It just simply won't work. The strange thing is I can FaceTime his dads iPhone and his sisters iPod touch through different emails, it's just it won't let me FaceTime him. Info: iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi, iOS 5.1

Specific User Account?
Has it been established it will have user accounts?I think it is a feature that is really needed. I for one was going to buy a several and leave them around the house. ie one sitting on the coffee table to grab and another for example that lives in the kitchen.Problem is I want it usable by everyone who needs to use the internet too look something up or change the music However I don't want that person to have access to my email etc.

Multiple User - Have Same Password
I'm finding it hard to get clear in my mind what is possible with this device, I'd be grateful for some help. I would want to receive / send emails using two accounts, johndoe@mac.com and janedoe@mac.com (aka me.com). There is only one mobileme subscription, johndoe, and janedoe is (if I've got this right) a sort of synonym. Both use the same password (not a problem). On my iMac, you can log in as either on the web and just see "your own" stuff. They can be shown as separate accounts in Mail and supply "their own" sending address when sending. So far so good. Now we (for it is I and my spouse of whom I speak) want to know if this will all work on iPad. I have found this http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=12187387� but I don't get the references to Hotmail etc. I also saw a phrase about Mobileme not being useable on iPad? Don't know what that's about.
