I've searched the web for an answer, but I can't find an answer.I just got my iPad yesterday. I set up both my Gmail account, as well as my Verizon Yahoo email account. Here's the problem: When I delete an email on the iPad, it isn't showing as deleted when I open up my email on my computer. So, I have to go through and delete everything again
I am using Outlook 2010 for my mail, and have a few elementary questions. I am a "former" Android user, and am used to OTA syncing with gmail, etc.
Must I connect via usb to sync with my Ipad(wifi only)? I can recieve new mail , etc. it seems, but seem to not be able to delete email. Get message saying " Unable to delete email at this time....." Calandar sync is a mystery to me, also. Can new events imputted via my laptop be done OTA to Ipad?
Up until a very short time ago, when I had my iPad connected and iTunes open, I could right click on a movie, and have the option to delete the file from both iTunes and the Computer. I think I have done something to a setting, that gives me no option, and leaves the file on my Computer. How do I switch it back to where I get the option to delete from BOTH at the same time?
If I get a Mini, and my wife and I both log into it via our separate accounts, can we both access our individual accounts on the same computer at the same time via LogMeIn (or a similar program) with our iPhones, and/or with theoretical iPads?I've looked online, and I can't seem to find the answer to that question, so I was wondering if anyone here has attempted such a feat.If that works, I'm considering switching from two separate laptops to one mini and two ipads.
When I set up this application, does my logmein on my PC have to be switched on and left enabled all the time for the Ipad logmein to work and give me access to my computer? Don't want anyone hacking into my PC if Logmein is always enabled.
Just got an ipad that is set up to receive my work email thru microsoft exchange. I still have my blackberry and am trying to see if there is an option to delete email on the "ipad only" and not take it off the server (pc or blackberry). Is this possible?
I want to give my iPad 1 to my niece and want to delete my email account from it (but want to retain the existing email address on my ipad 2). Does anyone know if I can do that without removing it from iPad 2 as well?
I have an iPad 16. I connected it and synced it to my MBP. I set it to sync apps, and select a subset of my apps that I want on the iPad. Fine, works perfectly.
At work, I put it in an iPad keyboard doc connected to my iMac. I run iTunes, but just to listen to tunes on my iMac -- I do not sync the iPad or even bring up the full iTunes UI, I just play music minimized.
When I get home and connect the iPad to my MBP again and sync, it now tries to copy ALL the apps from the iTunes library, not the ones I synced yesterday! I need to manually delete all the apps from the iPad I don't want. Every time. This would happen with my iPhone too, FWIW.
Only thing I can do to prevent it is to not launch iTunes on the iMac while the iPad is in the dock. This is less than ideal, since I'd like to just play music on the iMac.
I just got my ipad love it! I had it set to push my gmail and of course it all showed up on my ipad. I don't want it all there though, so reset to manual. Question: If I delete the mail it pushed off my ipad, will it delete from my desktop too?I don't want it sitting there on my ipad, bc other people in the house
I have received an email asking for my bank details as I have won £1 000,000. It's obviously rubbish but I cannot delete it from my Ipad. When I try, to the Ipad closes down the mail page but the email re-appears every time. Also it will not delete when I send it to the trash can.
Is there a way to make iPad automatically delete sent POP mail after a time period? I have my apple mail program on an iMac set to do so, and it's working fine. But on the iPad sent mail has not been being deleted. I tried telling iTunes to sync mail accounts, and replace mail info on the iPad with that from the computer, but the sent mail on the iPad is still all there. I could just delete it all, one by one, but since I thought the settings were synced to the computer that all the sent messages were being deleted, and just noticed they weren't. So now I have a thousand or more sent messages on the ipad. This only occurs with POP accounts, Mac.com mail is behaving well, the sent messages delete as they should. Any ideas? Or, how can I mass delete thousands of sent messages on the iPad without having to do it one by one?
I have just set up my new ipad and cannot delete the photos that have transferred onto it from my computer - I don't want them all on it as they take up too much space. The trash can does not seem to appear anywhere like it does on my iphone.
I have just purchased a whole season of a TV series but it says each episode takes up about 1.7 GB of space. So I was just wondering if I would be able to 'undownload' each episode after watching them so that I have enough space to watch them all, but still be able to go back and re-download them whenever I want without having to purchase them again.Â
Basically what I'm saying is:Â
1. Is it possible to un-download individual episodes?
2. If you un-download/delete episodes will you be able to restore them without having to pay again?Â
