I checked everything in the info tab on itunes and performed numerous syncs but it still does not put my contacts and calendar on my ipad. It successfully puts them on my iPhone but not my ipad.
View 8 RepliesI have got a PC running Windows Vista with Outlook 2007 and an iPad. I am trying to sync my contacts and calendar to my iPad but when I try through iTunes (9.2), the Info tab doesn't show the sub-folders that my contacts are in (called Alison's Contacts) and when I move them to the main Contacts folder, it doesn't see them there either.
Calendar is pretty much the same; all calendar entries are in the main Calendar (not a sub-folder) and still don't sync!
It appears simply to just not see the source location despite the correct boxes being ticked in iTunes.
I have previously struggled with Windows Contacts and Calendar so went and bought Outlook 2007 and am getting very frustrated. I have tried the Apple support site and have followed various suggestions including de-activating and then deleting the Outlook Hotmail Connector.

I sync my Calendar, Contacts & Notes from Outlook 2003 through iTunes to my iPad and iPod. I want to quit using Outlook.I am starting to use Evernote for my notes so it's just calendar and contacts.I'd also like to use my calendar and contacts off-line with my PC which I can do with Outlook. And is iTunes my only way to sync my iPad & iPod?
View 3 RepliesI do not know if it is related to icloud but when I sync now I get duplicates in the calendar on my different devices. Ipod, IPAd1 and IPad 2.I also would like my dedvice to sync my contacts and calendar from Outlook on my PC as prime feeder, it does not work too well.

Attempt to sync Outlook contacts to Ipad. Outlook calendar does sync but not contacts. Have followed suggestions in Ipad support including reset sync history, remove and reinstall Itunes etc.
View 2 RepliesI use a Windows laptop for work (groan) that we use Outlook on. Is there a way to sync Outlook mail and calendar with the iPad? I currently have yahoo mail and gmail using Mail. I have been using Outlook web access to see my work mail but would like it all in Mail.LOVE the iPad calendar! Would like my Outlook events in my iPad calendar but NOT my personal stuff in my Outlook.
View 3 RepliesI have had a request fir ideas on the welcome forum but have not received any input. Maybe I did not do it right, but wanted to post this to get to wider audience. My iPad appears to be set up correctly but no calendar or contact sync from my pc to my iPad. It does work on my iphone4 so I know there must be a way to do it.
View 3 RepliesSet my new iPad to check the mail on my home email account with no problem. However, I would like to have my contacts and calendar on the iPad sync with my Outlook calendar and contacts by can't seem to find a way. When I bought my iPod last year I was able to sync everything with outlook on my desktop with no problems but can't do so on the iPad.
View 1 RepliesDue to a change in my business email, Outlook became corrupted and I had to reinstall Outlook. When I did so the contacts and calendar reverted to data from 2 years ago. However, before this happened I did a synch with my iPad so the current and accurate information is on the iPad. I need to synch the information from my iPad back into Outlook and when I synch I must be sure that the iPad is the prime data source, not Outlook.
So my question is, when I synch how do I make sure that the iPad is the master such that the iPad data is transfered into Outlook and the Outlook data is NOT moved into the iPad.

iPad, Windows 7
We are currently having trouble getting an iPad to sync with Outlook (Exchange environment, Win7). Both the user's notes and contacts sync fine, but the calendar remains empty despite iTunes displaying a "Synchronizing Calendar" message. We already tried resetting the sync history, make iTunes replace all calendar entries on the next sync, and disabling the Exchange Cache mode. We are using the latest version of iTunes as we did a fresh install yesterday. Synching my own calendar to my iPhone works fine so I don't think it's an issue with our Exchange setup.

I have just tried to sync my contacts for the first time (first time sync) and iTunes keep asking "are you sure you want to remove GoodPlayer."... GoodPlayer is installed and I don't want to remove this, when I I only have options to remove the app or cancel, when I cancel it conceals the whole sync not just the removal of this app. I have sync apps turned off as is everything else, I just want to sync my contacts with outlook.

USB cable sync seems to work fine - contacts, music, videos, apps, etc on both my Imac at home and PC at work. The weird thing is that in my ipad calendar, after a sync with my PC, all appointments are 11 hours earlier!!! My Iphone syncs well with both Imac and PC. Basically, I keep things (sync) segregated - personal content from Imac and work stuff from PC. Does anyone have any tips. I am willing to try cleaning the slate with my ipad to start again from scratch, but just wanted to check with you all.
