Hand Strap In The Marware

Sep 4, 2010

I think the hand strap in the Marware is a good idea, but I would like one for landscape orientation, which does not feel safe in one hand. Are there any cases like that?

Marware Case - "hand Sleeve" Get Loose

Apr 18, 2010

I was looking at a video on the Marware iPad case. Its not the ONE I want (I like the Eco-Vue), but it has the same little elastic sleeve for your hand. Looks loose out of the box on this video. I wanted to know if anyone had one of these in their posession that could comment?I like the little flip stand for typing. Thats really the reason I like this case, I havent seen another case that does it this well. The incase jacket seems a little too elevated for typing, and it appears it would bounce when touched.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5bn4fG6naw Message was edited by: chaznsc Message was edited by: chaznsc Information:

Case With Shoulder Strap?

Sep 16, 2010

I'm looking for an iPad case where you can use the iPad while in the case, with the strap over your shoulder or around your neck. For example, while walking around (using an astronomy application at night, for example), so that you don't accidentally drop the iPad. It would be handy while walking around in a city on vacation, too (I know I'd be asking to be mugged, but I don't go to places where that is very likely).

I've seen the Simplism one, and am not impressed by the comfort of the strap, and possibly the security of the iPad. I also saw one by Acton Treadway, but it did not seem right, either.

I've seen another for disabled people where the screen is completely uncovered, and I don't really want that, either. A flap I could fold back or something would be good.

Any recommendations? I'm not terribly concerned with price, just quality, and that it does what I want.

I've done a lot of google searches, but it is hard to exclude cases like messenger bags, etc.

Sleeve - Case Or Bag WITH A Strap ??

Apr 5, 2010

I'm looking for a lightweight iPad sleeve, case or bag that comes with an attached strap that's long enough to either go over the shoulder or around the neck.

It would be AWESOME if one side of the sleeve/bag/case was "open" so the iPad could be used without having to take it out... but I know that's a big request.

Does anything close to this exist? Any ideas or suggestions?

Is There A Back Strap Case?

May 15, 2010

I saw this on one of the gadget forums a few weeks ago and forgot to take note of it's name. It was a strap that went across the back of the iPad. There were two versions, one that went to opposite corners and one that went to all four making an X shape. I believe the strap material was elastic. Anyone know what it's called?

How To Attach Strap On Ipad

Dec 6, 2011

I got a strap to hold the iPad (for reading, carrying, etc.), but now I totally forget how to attach it to make it work. I can't remember the company or the product name (it wasn't iStrap but something similar). I also remember there was a video of two people using the straps to hold iPads as paddles whilst playing ping pong. The product itself is simply two elastic bands that are sewn where they cross together. Mine is yellow but I think it came in blue as well. Does anyone either have this or remember it? I would love to use it now (I'm a schoolteacher & would be able to hold the iPad while my kids are painting in the halls) but can't figure out how to make it work.

Marware Eco Vue - BEST CASE EVER

Jun 16, 2010

Paid like $14 extra to get it 2nd day air, but it arrived in 1 day.I cannot believe the quality of this case! All of the videos I watched definitely do not do it justice at all. Nor do the people reviewing them. It feels very high quality.. so much so that I would have expected to pay more for it. I was also worrying about it not being sleek or flush enough... and that is absolutely not a problem. It fits incredibly well, and looks really smooth and great!A+++++

Marware Eco-Flip - First Impression

Jul 9, 2010

I'm considering this one b/c I like the form factor. I've seen the various "first impression" reviews on eBay, but I'd love feedback from people who have used for a few or more weeks to find out how it's working on a daily basis.Did it fit your needs as you thought it would and would you buy it again? Things you don't like about it but are not obvious until you've used it?

Dont Have Bag With Keyboard Pocket/doesn't Have A Shoulder Strap?

Apr 23, 2010

I have an Incase Travel Kit Plus and love it. Only downside is that it doesn't have a shoulder strap so I wind up carrying it around in my hand. Whereupon I look like I'm carrying a bible and about to knock on your door.?

Is There A Case With A Portrait Oriented Handle / Strap On Back

Mar 16, 2011

Basically looking for a case which I can slip my arm through the band/strap so that I can hold it along the landscape side. This is just for ease of transport. Most of the cases I have found for these have no straps or longer one, I guess they don't think tablets need to be carried in a method different from a paper notebook. (then again the selection at my nearest store is horrid)

Incipio Smart Feather Vs. Marware Micro Shell?

Mar 24, 2012

This has probably been posted already somewhere, but in case it hasnt...I'm holding both in my hand right now. I like the Incipio feel better, it seems softer/nicer/thinner than the plasticky Marware. BUT the Incipio locks in the smart cover "permanently", meaning I have to remove the Incipio cover to remove Apple smart cover. The Incipio cover has a piece of plastic along the side that covers the spine of the Apple smart cover. The Marware cover has that whole area "open", meaning you can easily remove/reattach the Apple smart cover.

So if you are hoping to match one of these with your Apple smart cover, just know that the Incipio "traps" your Apple smart cover while the Marware leaves it open. I don't think one is "better" than the other, except maybe for the fact the Apple smart cover is not coming out while you have the Incipio cover installed. That is not necessarily a good or bad thing. I'm sticking with the Marware because I like detaching the Apple smart cover a lot. My wife is keeping the Incipio because she doesn't like detaching the Apple smart cover.
