Has anyone else noticed this with their Apple case? Right where the case comes in contact with the 4 corners of the black bezel, there are some permanent marks left behind on mine.I've tried rubbing them off using a microfiber cloth along with iKlear, but they don't go away. They're perfectly curved and follow exactly where the edge of the case's interior overlays. Maybe my case is a little tighter than it should be?I don't know;just curious if I'm the only one seeing this.
Got a problem with my iPad that I'm not happy about and wondering if it's just my iPad this happens with or if it's all ipads. Just got mine yesterday and relatively new to apple products so please don't abuse me, lol
I have been enjoying my new gadget until today when I was browsing a website gumtree.co.uk All adverts were loading up fine with pictures beside the descriptions while the blue background was loading in the search bar all pics were there alongside descriptions, but when the bar was fully blue to show page had loaded 100% all pictures disappeared apart from 1 or 2 and they were replaced with little blue icons saying loading. I don't know if I need to change my settings or download an app to fix it. Does anyone else have that problem using that site?
I get blue box with question mark for pictures in my email so it was working fine before and the problems just appeared few mins ago after my wifi connection disconnects and I turned off the wifi and restarted it and now all of sudden it won't show pictures in my email like every single email i turned ipad off and on but still not working
I have this iPad since january 2011 and from about 2 weeks to now I have been observing some weird marks growing on the back of my iPad. I use the Apple iPad Case most of the time, rarely taking it out to clean the screen. I have searched google sometimes this week and did not find anything like that, so I'm hoping you guys could tell me if I'm the only one facing this flaw. Yes, I tried cleaning it - first with the cloth that comes with the apple case and then with another cloth with some water - to no avail.
We've had a 64GB ipad since UK launch and in general it's a new level of device. One problem though is the screen seems almost opaque due to finger marks most of the time. I know the screen has supposed to have the same oil-resistant coating as the 3GS iphone, but our iphones have nothing like the same problem. Anyone else seen this? Could it be a problem with my unit? Any advice for avoiding/minimising?
I&m a little baffled. When I was using my iPad with the wireless keyboard this morning I was typing along with problems but after a jont in my backpack the punctuatiion marks that correspond to the number no longer match.(Other punctuation marks around the keyboard are also switched around. I didn&t turn off the Bluetooth setting when I put it in my bag, so I&m guessing that some combinations of keys switched the layout. At the bottom to either side of the space bar are keys I can press to change the language but there&s no way I&ve found to revert it back to the layout I used before.

My 64gb 3G iPad has the exact problem detailed in this thread. I'm going to bring it in for replacement whenever the stock levels are there. Anyone else have this problem ? I only noticed it yesterday after using the iPad for a week but it's annoying the hell out of me now.
I cannot get the accent marks to work. For instance I hold down "o" and the marks show but I can't then insert the letter and mark I want. Just keep getting the unaccented letter. I don't have that problem with the apostrophe mark above the comma/exclamation mark key. What am I doing wrong with the accents or is it an iPad problem?
I transfered about 5 videos that I had converted with handbrake onto my ipad, using the same method that I use to transfer music. Just drag and drop from PC to Ipad.
When you go to "videos" they show up as white boxes with no label at all.. granted they all play just fine but its annoying and pointless to have your video menu to be unlabeled.
SO, after reading a tip to transfer the videos to my "movie" library in itunes and then "sync" them using itunes. I did that and of course it deleted all my stuff (except my apps). So ok I was fine with that but now I want to add more videos and once again it wants to delete all my stuff just to add one more video.
this is beyond ridiculous, i cant even beleive they allow this to be the way...
I have a problem. When using my iPad (32gb wifi - received 27th May in the UK) I notice what can only be described as drip marks at the top and bottom of the black surrounding the screen. These aren't caused by fingerprints and disappear when wiped with a lint free cloth, but reappear in the exact same position if there are any fingerprints on, or even if I breath on that area, they appear. I'm not due whether this is a fault with the iPad, as it would appear these marks are underneath the screen. It's just very annoying! Photographs of the problem can be provided to show what I mean. The 'drip' marks look almost like what you'd get if soapy water dripped down a surface and dried. Has anybody else encountered this problem? Thanks, Stephen
How common is dust and other unknown marks under the glass screen? Mine has at least 2 spots under the glass that I could only describe as looking like tiny pieces of glitter. They don't rub off and there are no bumps/ridges when I try to feel - I'm positive they are under the glass. I also have a few marks at the top of my iPad under the screen that look like scratches - but again I can't feel them. They've been there from day 1 - can't see them when the iPad is on - and it's not the comet streaks I understand every device is going to have some marks and it's not affecting the use of it. So yea I'm being picky and am curious how common this really is?
For some reason when I put in a date range for a Calendar event in "Month mode", the iPad Calendar only marks the event for the start of the event! So, if I have an event (say a conference) from January 3rd, 2011 to January 10th, 2011, it will only put that little blue "dot" on January 3rd rather than putting a dot on each day from the 3rd to the 10th. So, when I later look to see if I'm busy on January 5th... I don't see a dot or someone that works with me doesn't see a dot, and assumes I'm available. This has caused numerous scheduling problems! I don't see any setting that I can adjust.I have version 3.2.2,but its not listed Any ideas?
Does anyone have this problem on their iPad? I'm getting correctly spelled words marked with red underline as misspelled. For example I have had the word "that" marked as misspelled. When I click on the word "that", it does not give me an option for the word. I could go on with several examples of common words that are spelled correctly, but the iPad is marking them as misspelled.
