I have just downloaded the harry potter film app edition which allow me to buy all 6 harry potter films and then download my collection? However I can watch the films using the wifi but I can't watch offline playback on any of the film I have downloaded? Have anyone downloaded this app and the films and tried to watch them offline? This if for the new ipad .

I go to the eedition login and can only read the section headings. If I try to open them they go to a new page and it stays blanch.

The suck part of RSS is that most news sites provide limited information without clicking on "read more" which takes you to their web site. Sort of make it pointless to have RSS. Can someone share some good news & tech RSS feeds that provides full or almost full articles?
View 4 RepliesTwice I've tried downloading the new Wired digital edition - 330-odd MB - and it's clunkily downloaded then lot, then got to installing, and failed a short way in.
I thought it might be a space problem - so I deleted a movie and general/about shows 3 GB free. Which is surely enough to do whatever work the app needs to do to install, right?
So my question is, is that 3 GB really free? Or do I need to restart/clear space via sync in order to actually make room?
Well, I was finally able to pick up this long-awaited case, and it is quite nice:

The leather looks beautiful and feels great. The case is very sturdy—hard, actually—and holds the iPad nicely; the fit is perfect. It wouldn't provide much shock absorbing protection if you were to drop the iPad, but it does protect the device from scratches and daily abuse.
Speaking of fit, the first time you put the iPad in it's quite snug, which is a good thing. I would imagine that over time it would be fairly easy to remove the iPad for docking as the corners loosen up ever so slightly.
It appears to me that this is a case that will last a long time.
The inside color of the soft lining looks terrific with the brown leather, very rich. There is some embossed writing on the inside of the case which you can see in the photo on their site. Personally, I would prefer no writing, but the good news is that it's pretty subtle so it's not distracting.
When you open the case, say, for reading, the cover folds back with no problem, though I would imagine that in time the leather hinge would develop some wrinkling and aging as leather is prone to do.
When the case is closed it feels firm and solid, and looks pretty high end and classy when you're carrying it around.
It fits nicely into the Waterfield Exo Sleeve—together making an impressive presentation.
I like it.
Sadly, bought it for the other half and she still prefers the Apple Case, so I plan on listing it on eBay.
I recently purchased a book on Kobobooks site with Adobe Digital Editions PDF. The book displays fine on my PC using the Adobe Digital Editions, however, I cannot find a reader to display it properly on the iPad2. Kobo App wouldn't display it in the Library so can't use it.

View 6 RepliesI have used a program called DVDFab 7 to rip a DVD. The process has completed ok and the file (M4V file of 303mb) plays in iTunes on my PC fine.
However, I cannot get it onto my iPad, no matter what I do.
With my iPad connected, I click on the Films tab and find a list of movies. I haven't ticked 'automatically include' box.
I've ticked two films, one was purchased from iTunes, the other is my newly ripped film. The purchased film goes on ok BUT THE OTHER FILM JUST WILL NOT TRANSFER!
I'm beginning to lose the plot really, I'm sure it's something simple but I can't find the solution.
I really need this film on my Tuesday as we're travelling on holiday and my son will be a nightmare without something to distract him.
If I synchronise my iPad with iTunes, Only the film are after in the ipad. There are no TV programm are not on the ipad. With the iphone, everything is working great: I can see the TV programm under the iPod function.
Please help me to get my bought TV programm to the iPad.
