I was just watching the video walkthrough that 9to5Mac has posted and it shows that iPad Safari does have a bookmark bar just like Mac Safari. I didn't know that it was going to have that. Has anyone who has the SDK played with this feature. The video showed it popping up somehow. Is it possible to have it appear all the time? Also, the video showed that Safari is set up to be identified as desktop Safari NOT mobile Safari. I really can't wait to get my hands on an iPad. Whoever the person was that kept saying the Safari is mobile Safari needs to go and watch this video.
AirPrint, while a welcome feature, seems to have been implemented not by Apple, but by any other company...In Safari, what used to be an icon to add a page as a bookmark, or to add it to the home screen, now also accomodates printing. In Mail, if I wish to print, I need to tap the "reply" icon.In Pages, Numbers and keynote it's under the "settings" icon.Would it not have made more sense to use the existing "print" icon and put it on a toolbar?I've left the feedback here:http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html Information : iOS 4.
When I sync my iPad to my iMac, I chose to sync the bookmarks as well. The problem is, only the main bookmarks sync, not the sub-folders that I use to catagorize my bookmarks. Anyone found a solution to this issue?
Information: Macbook 2.2 Ghz, iMac 2.4 Ghz, iPhone x2, Apple TV, and soon, iPad 32GB 3G Mac OS X (10.6.3)
I have the iPad synced, and all is well, and working. Safari's bookmarks are all there, except for the bookmarks that were in folders. Is there a way around this?
Information: 24 Inch iMac, MacBook, iPad 32 GB, LaCie drives, numerous iPods, full fridge Mac OS X (10.6.3) I heart Apple!!!
IPad 2 :: Multipage Tab In Safari Next To Bookmark Tab
Nov 7, 2011
I just bought my iPad2 a few days ago. IOS5 already installed. I am wondering how I can add the mutipages tab in safari. I see a lot of ipad2 videos with this tab. It's a tab that shows you all your open pages in small format so you have the option to close it. It's next to the bookmark tab in safari. Maybe my iPad doesn't have this feature.
Safari crashes every time I hit the bookmark button. I have disabled syncing with my MacBook pro via iCloud after clearing my reading list.I'm using iPad 3rd gen. V 5.1.1
The problem is, I can't just open the link and then add it.
It's a "What's new" link in a forum and once you click it it changes from the actual generic link to a specific search ID link which then is pointless to bookmark
So I need to somehow copy and paste the generic link into the bookmark in Safari on iPad.
I have certain bookmark links on Safari missing in my iPad3. But now it seems that the links are missing. How can I retrieve the missing bookmark links?
