When i click on INSTALL, a windows pops up asking me to 'improve security and set up my 3 security questions'. When i try to set them up, it gets stuck on the 3rd question. Got an iPad 3 and was wondering if I need to purchase online security for shopping/ banking.etc?

I have only had my I pad since Monday and I absolutely love it. I use it like a mini laptop. I do a lot of online shopping paying bills etc and was wondering if there is a firewall program already installed. If not is there something I can download for security.
I am not technical at all so if someone could give me an easy explanation I would really appreciate it.
So trying to FaceTime my brother's iPhone4, and everytime it connects, I just see a black screen, and then it says it failed, and my internet dies. Not just on my iPad, but my desktop (which is hooked up via ethernet) and my iPhone wifi die as well. If I DON'T do FaceTime, internet runs fine!
View 3 RepliesI have a wifi only version of the ipad and have been having very reliable wifi service ever since i got this second one (first one was returned). Only issue I have had is an occasional blinking wifi indicator that would blink off then back on every couple of minutes or so but then didnt last to long but now comes along this update which I do yesterday and today now the ipad says "connecting" but dont connect to the internet. The wifi icon is completly gone now and when I go to setting-network to look for my router-network its no where to be found actually it finds no networks in range in which it used to find a few from around my neighborhood. In the settings menu wifi is turned "on" and "ask to join networks" is also on. Now before you get discouraged about updating if u havent done so I was able to get my wifi back by pressing and holding the small power button on the side powering it off and then restarting it and bam there it was wifi icon at full bars again and getting 12.2 mbps down and 2.90 up! Point is I never had to do that before and just did that restart as I am typing this thread so I hope that I don't have to do this repeatedly. If anyone else has had this problem please let me know, I allways advocate doing any and all updates provided by a manufacture but the update is supposed to alleviate problems not create them.

Would anyone know if I will be able to access the internet through my usb internet device that I have with my cell phone carrier for connecting a computer to the internet. I use it with my laptop to access the internet. Are the iPads kind of the same as a computer in this way?

Security ipad or osx? Running a mac 10.6.3 with all software up to date. Ipad arrives soon. The ipad is a very closed platform. Hard to install a key logger or bad scripts? Seems like a safer route for secure online banking.

View 2 RepliesI'm not super knowledgeable about such things, but would the Safari browser on the iPad be considered among the most secure environments for surfing the web around? I know I've heard things like that said about the iPhone browser before, and I'd assume it's the same for the iPad, but what makes them so secure?I really do like that aspect of these devices. The fact that they are such closed environments, I know there is so much less risk and worry about various internet viruses and spyware.
