I receive e-mail using the Mail program on my Mac book, iPad, and iPhone. After I read an e-mail and delete it, i have to go to all of my other devices and delete them too. Isn't there an easier way to delete read mail from all devices at once?
Like many of you, I have multle devices now accessing the same email accounts. My inboxes are full all the time and it's hard to keep them organized. For example, I end up having to delete the same emails from my iPad and iPhone; am I missing something in the settings that would make this easier?
Can my devices (a 2G iPod Touch and a WiFi only 64GB iPad) be synced up to multiple computers, with my main library placed on each of these computers. And if so, can these Libraries be continually updated with regards to one another through the internet (or at least through my home network). By this I mean, if I make a purchase on one of them, will the other Libraries be updated and get this purchase.
No matter how or what I do to configue Yahoo mail in ipad mail setup I get this error saying "url..." is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "incoming mail server" field. Yet I download the yahoo mail app and yahoo mail works fine. Just does not work with and of the settings in the NEW IPAD mail, contacts, calendars setup. I have found this seems to be an issue posted in many forums.
I have a question about iTunes. For my iPod, I have it set up for automatic sync. Now, since my iPod is my main music device, I don't have a need to have a duplicate library on my iPad. So, I'm wondering, what's the best way to get round this? A separate library on iTunes for my iPad? Or something?
I have one of the original iPads. Suddenly (from yesterday) when I receive an email only the headings are shown - the body of the text is blank. Also previously received emails have also had the text body removed.
I currently only use a single iPhone, so I have no experience with this. But I do plan on owning an iPad at some point too and started thinking about this today. How will push notifications be handled on the applications that I will undoubtedly have on both devices? I assume they will be able to show up on both, but I can also see how that could be slightly annoying.
I have an iphone & wife has an ipad. She doesn't want all my apps to sync with her pad. Sadly this mostly applies to her scramble game and scores. how do i sync what i want without erasing all apps on her ipad? Sync computer is an imac.
I just acquired a new iPad, and am synching to the same iTunes as I use for my iPhone. Is there a way to selectively decide what I want to synch to which device? I want to synch movies to my iPad but not to my iPhone, and I don't know how to do that.
I installed 4.2 on my iPad and obviously Gamecenter is now accessible. I have a series of games that I currently play on both my iPad and iPhone4. However I'm much further in those games on the iPhone given it's constantly with me. I thought that once Gamecenter came around, my games would all be synchronized, however despite Gamecenter on my iPad recognizing my iPhone's high scores and stats, the games themselves are not updated.
I work @ all college in AU. We are implementing ipads as a study tool. Initially the ipads will be set up by the college, then distributed to the students to keep.
My question is about how to manage apps for so many devices. For example we have 2 apps that need to be installed for 150 units to begin with. This could get quite messy I would think. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of volumes? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.
Can I choose multiple devices at once for Airplay? Meaning, can I choose the audio from music to Airplay to the iPad, my Apple TV and an Express powered set of speakers? When I press the Airplay icon they all come up, but so far am only able to choose them one at a time.

I have an Apple BT keyboard for my desktop set up, and want to use it with my iPad. Easy enough to "disconnect" the BT connection with my Macbook Air and then pair it up with my iPad, but other than "forgetting" the device or turning of the BT on the iPad, is there a way to "disconnect" the keyboard from the iPad so I can pair it with my mac laptop?
From what I have understood the Camera Kit dongle can be utilized to connect various different USB devices ot the iPad. My question is that has anybody tried to use multiple USB devices simultaneously?
I am looking to connect a MIDI keyboard over USB to use the software synths on the iPad. At the same time I need to get the audio out of the iPad somehow. Since iPad appears to support USB Audio my idea is to connect a powered USB hub with the Camera Kit and then connect the MIDI keyboard and an external DAC to the hub. Has anybody actually tried this? Obviously I can use the headphone output for outputting the audio but I would prefer a digital or line out solution.
Another option would be to find some kind of 3rd party kit that would provide the USB port as well as line out for audio. These kits seem to be more hit and miss though.
For some reason I have multiple contacts repeated about 75 times. Whatever caused it to happen is gone. Only singles of new contacts are synchronized. But I would like to delete the repeated contacts without having to do it one by one. Is there a way to highlight multiple contacts and delete them at one time?
If you have an iMac or macbook, you probably already host your iTunes media library and perform purchasing/downloading on it.If you have an iPad, why would you want to download to an additional iTunes media library?if I'm missing something, but can you consolidate media iTunes libraries from multiple devices you own?
I tried to search for this, but guess I couldn't phrase it right in the search I know it is possible to sync multiple devices with iTunes, but is there any thing I should be aware of. I have always synced both my 80gb iPod Video and my iPod Touch and never had any problems. But, not with the iPad will there be any issues. I am concerned about the Apps mostly. If and app is specifically for the iPad will that cause any problem when I sync my iPod Touch? If there are two different versions of an App (iPod and iPad) will I end up with both versions on my iPad if I have purchased both? Not sure if there is anything else that could cause problems, but just wanted to check with the "experts"
I have a iPod Touch & an iPad. Is there a way I can specify which apps go on which device? iTunes obviously knows what device is attached, but only allows for one selection of apps regardless of device.
I own an iPod Touch & now the iPad2 - iTunes is on a Dell laptop, so I'm syncing both to the same computer; now, a number of the apps are compatible w/ both Apple devices, but I don't necessarily want all apps on both devices. So, when I sync either the iPod or the iPad2 to this single laptop, what is the best way to avoid adding apps to the device not desired? I know that in iTunes options are available for 'sync' choices, but how does one select these options before the sync process?
I shot a wedding today. Imported the photos onto the iPad using the camera connection kit just so I could take a peek at them on the spot. Got home, plugged the iPad into my Macbook. I have iTunes set to sync my photos to a specific folder on my desktop; not with iPhoto. I figured the iPad would dump the imported RAW files to my sync folder. It didn't. That was actually ok with me because I wanted to import them into Lightroom directly from the SD card anyhow. What I really wanted to do is preview the RAWs on the iPad and delete them. The only way I could find to delete them directly on the iPad was manually tapping them in the delete dialog, one by one. Not very practical for 200+ photos. Then I tried to delete them via iPhoto on my Macbook. I could see the thumbnails in the import window, but found no option to delete them from the iPad without syncing them to iPhoto first. Dumb.
Perhaps it's a silly question...but I run into a sync issue.we have itunes running on one PC, and have two ipod touches and one ipad, all under the same apple account. When I synced my new ipad, itunes tried to sync all my 100+ ipod apps on my pc to my ipad....That was not the idea, so I cancelled and put the apps I wanted (10 or so) on my ipad "by hand"Is there a way to create lists (playlists?) with apps PER device? So that you can only sync that specific list to that specific ipod or ipad?
