I have a whole bunch of albums and photos on my iPad 1, which I have imported from my son's Mac. Since I am not satisfied with all the pictures an albums anymore I repeatedly tried to delete them, which I could not proceed. Is there any way to do so without using my son's Mac again?
I used my iPad to view images while on a holiday (several hundred files) and now I want to delete them from the iPad. The only way I can see to do it however, is one at a time! The imports don't show up in iTunes (at least I can't see them) and there's no way to delete a whole event on the iPad.

IPhoto Won't Delete Imported Photos From The System

After importing photos with the connection kit, can you then delete selected photos from the iPad without connecting to a computer? I'd like to use the iPad for photo storage when traveling (without a computer) and use the iPad for initial review and then delete obvious rejects to save space. The iPad documentation seems to imply that you can only delete photos from the camera, not the iPad (unless you sync with the computer).
How Do I Delete Imported Photos On The In Less Then 2000 Clics?
Aug 4, 2010
I've been using the iPad to collect photos form my digital cameras. I have a few thousand of such photos on my iPad.Today I wanted to delete them (because they take a lot of memory and are synched anyway after correction).I could only find how to delete them by selecting them one by one on the iPad . On the Mac, I use Aperture, which has no option (AFAIK) for deleting imported photos. How stupid is that that you can import thousands of photos on the iPad and not delete them in under 1000 clics?I just found out that I still have iPhoto on my Mac, so I am going to import pictures from the iPad to iPhoto and use the option to delete them.
Delete Or Manage Photos Imported With Camera Connection Kit?

1. I can open the imported photos directory and mark photos individually for deletion - doesn't make sense when I'd like to clear the folder and delete hundreds of photos at once.
2. I can hoop up the iPad to my computer (Windows) and view the DCIM folder and pick some of the sub folders to clear - but I have lots of folders on my iPad and there is no easy way to figure out which were imported photos and which were not.
I generally import photos for backup and viewing when we're traveling but keep them on my SD card. Once I get home I copy them from the card to my computer and organize them into folders, sorting and eliminating photos I don't want to keep. I then put the completed folders back into my iPad via sync but this makes the original imported photos uncessessary
Is there any easy what to manage and/or delete the imported photos that would be easier than the steps I identified in 1 and 2 above?
iPad 2 - iOS 5. I want to delete some albums from Photos. The manual says select edit and a stop sign will appear next to the albums, it doesn't!Only thing that happens when I pressed edit, is a "New Album" icon appears. I can rearrange albums, but that is all.

How do you delete photos out of the albums on the Ipad? I see if you go to saved folders, it allows you to delete. But if u go to one of the albums that was synced from the computer(Itunes), the "delete" button doesn't show up. Also, if it can be done on the iPad itself n not from iTunes. I would greatly appreciate some assistance on this matter ASAP. Lol I got pix I don't want my woman to see that got sync'd on accident. ;-). LMFAO. N we leaving in a couple hrs. On a lil road trip. Move Photos From 'last Imported' Or 'all Imported' To Existing Photo Folders?
Oct 27, 2011
Is there a way to move photos from 'last imported' or 'all imported' to EXISTING photo folders? It asks me to create a new folder/name only. I can't see a way to move to an already existing folder...?
I just got my IPad 2 and I imported photos from my camera. The albums are labeled " imported" and "last imported". How can I change the names of the albums?
