Dead Line Of Pixels On The Display

I just opened my iPod. For the first hour it worked fine. After an hour of use, I got a line of pixels along the left and side that have completely failed. Seemingly completely randomly (no physical trauma). AAAAHHHH!!!! So disappointing and frustrating! Apple Support: I just landed in Singapore on a 3 week business trip. Can we arrange a swap via FedEx? I don't wish to wait 3 weeks to replace this. Plus, I was about to show it off to everyone DROOLING to see it, but now I dont wish to.

Getting 7 Dead Pixels

This morning, I noticed 7 blue pixles that won't go away... It's in the far top right corner. I was just wondering if I can fix it, or if Best Buy can replace it. (the nearest apple store is 3 hours away) Nevermind. My iTunes password came up and they went away.....

Having Dead Pixels

I'm sitting in class, so I can't look this up at the moment.
I will be purchasing an iPad online (Apple's website) and do not plan on purchasing the Apple Protection Plan. With that said, if I receive the iPad and it has dead pixels, or dust under the screen...or anything else that essentially warrants a replacement, how does Apple handle that?
Will I need the protection program? How long is my iPad under warranty without it? 90 days?

I've now gone through 5 ipads with the same dust/dead pixel issue. Am I being to demanding in wanting a perfect screen? I understand Apple's policy on pixels but this is dust and this is with brand new Ipads. Should I just keep exchanging them? Does anyone have an IPAD without dust and dead pixels?

I'm from the UK and obviously the iPad is not out here quite yet. But something that is concerning me a slightly is a thread I read yesterday about someone who had to go through 4 iPads before they got one without any dead pixels.I just want to know if this was a one off or if it's going to be a common problem.

Dead/Stuck Pixels Are Too Much?

Wifi issues aside, I've noticed an increasung number of dead pixels on my iPad. The count is up to a half dozen now. While i don't like any dead pixels, i am concerned because the device is only a month old with light use. The pixels really stand out on iBooks and i keep thinking the screen is dirty but unfortunately it's not. How much is too much and are others haoving this problem as well?

I had my iPad turned off I was cleaning the screen and I saw 3 little white dots and I couldn't get them off and then I realized they were in the screen there like in a line it doesn't bother me because you only see them when the iPad screen is black and they are very tiny..but are they dead pixels?

Got my 32gb Wifi Ipad on Friday, already had one on order, but Apple Store had then in stock, they said i could just return the one being shipped, Just dont open it.I asked about dead pixels, they said no problem. well me will see. Its only one pixel and if I hadnt done a pixel check, probably never would have seen it. My iPad is a 1st Batch iPad and I finally noticed 3 dead pixels right in the middle of the screen. Noticed them right after removing my Power Support Anti-Glare overlay, which probably explains why I did't notice them earlier. Anyways will Apple do a swap, even after this long? Would appreciate an answer soon, I have an appointment at the Apple Store later today.

Returned 5 Consecutive Over Dead Pixels

I just returned 5 consecutive ipads, 3 just now while standing in Best Buy opening them, handing them to the manager, pointing out the dead pixels, and opening the next, because of dead pixels.I want an iPad. Very badly. But I also don't think its acceptable to sell a $900 essentially screen with manufacturing defects.
I felt really bad about the whole thing- the folks at Best Buy were really nice and understanding, and I nonetheless felt like a neurotic OCD freak, but I mean, the dead pixels were there, no matter how badly I didn't want to see them. Needless to say- I am iPad-less... are there good and bad batches? Are we supposed to just accept a few dead pixels?

Like so many of you, I received my new iPad on launch day after ordering it from the Apple Online Store and upon turning it on I noticed 2 dead pixels near the centre of the screen. No problem I thought, booked a Genius appointment at my local (ish) Apple Store as soon as i could get to it to request an exchange. So on the day of the appointment I was told after 10 minutes of the guy looking at it and making phone calls that it couldn't be exchanged as it was online stock and had to be exchanged via the online store.

I have an iPad 2 64gb wifi and recently it has developed 2 dead pixels right in the middle of the screen practically right next to each other. Of course this is really annoying!I have seen somewhere that they have a policy of 3 dead pixels being needed for a definate replacement otherwise it is up to the genius you see.Here comes the big question lol. I really, really, really would like a macbook pro! If I booked a genius appointment for them to look at the iPad 2 would I be able to instead of swapping for another ipad 2 put the cost of the ipad towards a macbook pro?

Screen - 3-5 Small Dead Pixels ?

So, I've read that apple will either replace, or fix your IPad, if there are more than 3 dead pixels. Is this true? Has anybody gotten their ipad replaced, due to 3-5 small dead pixels? If so, if I purchase Apple Care, would that policy concerning the replacement, still be covered on the IPad, 2 years down the road? Do I need to bring a proof of purchase, or can they just check it up online, which is what I did when checking remaining warranty?

I just received my new iPad (3rd gen of course) and it has either some dead pixels or a bit of dirt under the screen...
This is so ultimately disappointing and very frustrating. I'd swap it but Apple has no stock.
