Is it possible to create new calendars on the iPad? I sync with my MacBook, and in my Calendar I have multiple sub-calendars (personal, work, athletics, community). When I sync, those calendars are then placed on my iPad.
SO, if I wasn't syncing with my desktop, could I create different (and different colored) calendars?
Exchange Calendars-Contacts And Current Calendars-Contacts
Aug 17, 2010
I have recently decided to sync my work email to my iphone and ipad. At the time I decided not to sync my contacts or my calendars for fear it would wipe out what I currently have (my personal contacts and calendars).I do not want to mix the two.My question is this: If I decide to go back into Microsoft Exchange and sync contacts and calendars, is this going to do something to the contacts and calendars I already have in place? Thank you in advance for helping.
Iam having a very annoying issue with my new iPad .I like keeping my calendars separate using different colors for my personal appllications and my work meetings.I have my personal calendar set to blue My Mac based calendars sync via Mobile and back down to my iPhone and iPad just fine in the same colors, but on my iPad it makes my Exchange calendar blue as well, so my two main calendars are the same. I cannot find any setting anywhere on the iPad to fix this.
Mi iPad will not sync calendars to Mobile Me.Contacts seem to be ok but I cannot get my mobile me calendars on the iPad, even though I have done a restore on the iPad.
I have been using Google Calendar for awhile now (since before getting my iMac) and I have been very happy with it. I was able to get iCal on the iMac to display, edit, add and delete entries. I was also able to view my wife's and daughter's Google calendars as well. Able to do the same on my Droid phone as well. Just got my iPad last week, and got its calendar app to work with "MY" calendar by using these directions;
The problem is that I can't see my wife or daughter's calendar on my iPad. This baffles me. Any thoughts as to way this is happening? Wondering if deleteing the sharing of their calendars and then setting them up again would make a diffference?
is there a way to combine two or more iOS calendar into one?
You can delete a calendar, but at the time of cancellation is said that all events will be lost. It would be nice to assign the events of that calendar to another.
I have multiple calendars in iCal,personal and sync with Exchange calendar. In iCal,these are set to display in different colors,this works on my iPhone.But in the iPad calendar applications are in the same colors.
Beta version is useless; after I installed it, my entry data into my iPad using iCal doesn't sync to my Mac although my Mac info seems to sync to the iPad.
Before I found out how to sync the iPad to Google calendar I synced it with my local calendars on my mac. It created five calendars that I can't remove again. I can turn them off, but is there a way to remove all local calendars on the iPad and only have the Google-synced ones?
On my iPhone, Google suggests that you set up an Exchange account to sync your calendar and contacts. When I view Calendar on the iPhone, there is a Calendars navigation button that lets me select All or a specific one.
On my iPad, I set it up the same way, as an Exchange account. But when I go to Calendar, I can only see my first calendar. There is no Calendars navigation button like on the iPhone.
How do I view all my Google calendars on the iPad?
I would like to add an additional calendar to be used solely for recording bills for payment and some other events.This is to be and additional new calendar not already existing on another media.
I can only get one calendar with the colour blue for events. I understans that I can open many calendars for different puposes. Do I need a Mac computer to do this or is there some technique to organise a new calendar on the ipad itself as I only have a PC?
