I generally use some very good passwords. Not something you can remember, so I generally do a copy-paste from Keychain (unless Keychain automatically fills it in). I can copy a password, but on iPad I don't see a way to paste into password boxes.
I just wanted to copy a paragraph from this forum via copy and paste, just as I do with a pc. I think that I have found out how to copy, but I had nowhere to paste it to. There's no paste button within the notes ap -- at least I couldn't find one!
There is no "tab" button on the iphone or ipad keyboard. I would like to enter text into Notes separated by a tab function so I could then copy & paste that information directly into a spreadsheet. Any ideas or workarounds? It would be nice if a "tab" button was added to the keyboard.
is there a PDF reader that I can use to read iBooks and then be able to copy and paste certain sections? I have PDF reader pro but it does not have the copy/paste feature and I'm not able to find anything else suitable.

Copy n paste works fine on regular HTML pages, but I cannot select multiple words in text files like those common on gamefaqs.com ( see link below for an example ). I can select a single word, but whenever I try to drag the delimiters to select multiple words, it fails.
If I go to the admin of VB and copy or cut a IP of a user and then go to paste it to look up that IP nothing happens. Is this a bug just with VB? If I open up "notes" it will paste just fine.
By the way I have a friend of mine that created imaging software for the medical field and he had his tech open up the ipad and install a 500gig drive in it. I haven't seen it but I have no reason not to believe him.
Using a browser called Puffin because others like Safari and Perfect Browser crash when I visit an Air Canada web site to get flight plans for work.
Can anyone tell me how to copy and paste with this browser? Unlike Safari, I cant just touch the screen and have the copy function pop up. Need to copy flight plan from the screen to then paste into a pdf maker to store and annotate as flight is prepared and actioned.
I'm a member of a few car forums. Many times I post pictures in the thread. I go to my Photobucket page and copy the link and then go to the forum thread and paste the link for the picture to post. That's how I do it on my dest top computer. I don't know how to do that on the iPad. Is there any way to copy a link and then be able to paste?
When preparing presentations (in Keynote or PPT) I often need to copy selections (graphics, not text) from PDFs and paste them into Keynote/PPT. So far I'm still looking for a PDF reader for iPad that lets me do that. Some allow you to copy text, but I'm still looking for one doing that for graphics. My questions are: (1) Does anyone know whether you can copy-paste in principle from another application into Keynote on iPad? I think it should be possible, but you never know.(2) What PDF reader would be able to do that (if any)?Information:Mac Pro, Macbook Pro, Powerbook G4, iPad iPhone OS 3.1.3.
Is there a way to copy a page from a website using the IPad? I can't figure it out. I'm trying to go to my website and want to copy one of the pages there to send to someone, but when I put my finger on the page I don't get the usual "copy, paste, select all, select," I get nothing. Is there a way to do this?

I use to be all to be looking at a web page and select all, copy, and then paste the URL in an email on my iPad. When I do it now when I paste nothing shows up. How can I copy and then paste URL in my email.
I go laterr in the document, select another paragraph, and look for a Paste Style command. Frequently, perhaps usually, it is there and works. Other times, for no discernible reason, it simply does not and will not. All I can do is Copy Style for that new paragraph, and nothing seems to work to enable the paste style function.
My issue surrounds the search for a foreign dictionary lookup when reading. My old Treo had a great system for dictionary call. Bluefire claims to have a copy control on the iPad but I cannot get anything but a Bookmark popup. Anyone out there get it to work? The iFlow also reads Adobe DRAM files but is not alloweed to open my Italian books, only Bluefire. IFlow does a dictionary call of sorts. Anyone know how to load files stored on the iPad into another reader like iFlow.
When I tap and hold to select some text, often, it selects a huge block and I can't find a way to select just one word in that block - yes, sometimes dragging the handles lets me go into the specific word selection, but 80% of the time it doesn't. I just read the thread on two finger scrolling, and that guy does deserve an award thinking about that, has apple done something similary inventive with copy and paste?
I want to transfer images via email to my friend(Please note I am not talking about sharing Photos on Social Networking Sites) using my iPad. How can I copy images to Email app on my iPad in order to send email with image to my friend?
