Takes A Long Time To Charge / Sync On Old Computers
May 21, 2010I've heard a lot of comments that the ipad takes a long time to charge on old computers. I was wondering if my eMac 1.25 ghz would be able to sync with the ipad. Not too bothered about charging since I'll just use the wall charger but I am bothered about getting my stuff onto the device.

IPad 2 Went Dead Suddenly And Will Not Charge
Jun 11, 2012Over the weekend my iPad2 went dead suddenly and wouldn't charge. After unsuccessfully trying to charge it I decided to try a reset and it worked. My battery was at 56%. I have a padlock icon next to my battery that is new since the last update, what is it and does it have anything to do with my recent problem? I hadn't had any problems with my iPad and keep it updated.

I had my iPad plugged into the charger for at least 8 hours today and it only charged from 25 to 64%.

Jun 26, 2010Suddenly I'm not able to charge my iPad battery...at all! I've tried it plugged into outlets, and also through the keyboard/docking station...nothing!I'm now down to 17% power and very nervous!
I've done a lot of Googling on this but most problems seem to talk about the USB charging...not much to be found on outlet charging problems.Anyone have any suggestions?? I've tried it in sleep mode, while it's on, and when it's completely shut down...nothing!
Battery Charging Only Showed A 97 Or 98% Charge?
Aug 7, 2010Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this on their iPad...several times over the last week or two, after leaving my iPad on the wall charger overnight it only showed a 97 or 98% charge (I normally leave the iPad on, so it's in sleep mode when it's charging). This seemed unlikely to me, so I would either turn off the iPad using the red slider and then turn it back on, or do a reset (holding the sleep/wake and home buttons until the Apple logo appears). The battery indicator would then report 100%. Strange.

I am useing the charger that come with it in the box and it have used other chargers form my other apple products, all my other products work fine

Unable To Charge / Battery Charging Is To Slow
Nov 19, 2010My iPad is showing a new behavior when connected to be charged.
It all started when I used it till the battery crashed to zero.
When I try to charge it normally as I always do, the following symptoms showed
1- the charging icon does not display the charging logo
2- the charging audio notification is not played
3- the charging in progress black battery logo with the red stripe is not displayed anymore
4- the charging speed has become extremely slow, it is 1% per hour!!
can anyone advise what happened and how can I go back to the usual charging behavior?

Unable To Charge/Battery Not Charging Fastly?
Sep 23, 2010I've had my iPad about 6 weeks now and have been charging via the supplied charger and the mains, no issue at all.
However, I came to charge it today (it was at 64%) and noticed after a few hours it was not increasing its charge. I unplugged etc and now, 7 hours later, it is still only on 68% charge?
Please can anyone help me with this issue? The small light on the charger is constantly red, stupid as it sounds I can't remember if this is "normal" as I am so used to just charging it up with no problems.
Charging Options - Charge On A Computer's USB Port ?

It does say on Apples website that the iPad will charge on a computer's USB port.What I am wondering is:Will the iPad charge faster on it's own charger vs. a computer's USB port?Will other USB wall or car chargers work with the iPad?
