Cannot Update My Apps - Cannot Connect To Itunes
Hope someone can help me with this. I'm having a strange issue with my ipad and itunes, when I try to update an app I keep getting a "Cannot connect to itunes store" notice, but I have no problem downloading new apps or browsing the app store.It's as if I'm being blocked from the update section of the itunes store. I have a wifi only ipad so I'm updating over my wifi network. The other thing is that my iphone can update apps with no issue over the wifi network, it's just the ipad that can't.

3.2.2 Update - ITunes Software Could Not Connect
Today I installed the 3.2.2 iPad update and it caused my iPad to enter a state where the iTunes software could not connect because it was saying the iPad was locked. Meanwhile the ipad was showing the connect to iTunes error.I thought I corrected this issue by restoring the backup. Now my iPad is saying that it has No Wifi. the selection on the setting application is unavailable.

Can't Connect To ITunes After Latest IOS Update
I have the original iPad. After updating with the latest iOS, I can't connect to iTunes. I can access iTunes, but when trying to purchase or update apps, I see the "waiting" icon, but eventually get a "can't connect to iTunes - please check network settings" message. I can connect to the internet, and my iPhone connects to iTunes with no problem. I've tried restoring from backup but this didn't solve the problem.

Connect To ITunes To Continue IOS 5.1.1 Update?
I watched the boards for a few days to see what, if any, glitches would appear with the iOS 5.1.1 firmware update. It looked like it was not going to be a problem so I decided to take the plunge and update my iPad 2 (32 GB, WiFi/3G). I shut down all the app running in the background, did a restart to make sure nothing was still running that might cause a glitch. Plugged it into the wall charger and started the process using the OTA download since it was way smaller. It seemed to be going fine, but suddently the screen displayed the USB plug and iTunes logo and stopped the update. Do I have to plug my iPad into iTunes to finish the update? Or Can I restart my iPad and go again? I am at work and don't have access to iTunes here so if I have to plug in to my computer at home I guess it will have to wait until I can get there. Info: iPad 2, iOS 5, WiFi, 3G, 32 GB White.

ITunes Says There Are 2 Apps To Update
I've updated all of my apps in the App Updates window, synced both my iPhone and my iPad several times in the last few days, but iTunes is still showing a little 2 next to the "Apps" header indicating there are still 2 more out there that need to be updated.

New ITunes - Apps Update Notifications
Since installing the new iTunes update, I have not received any notifications of updates for Apps for my iPad. I continually check for updates in both the iPad Applications icon and the iTunes store on my Macbook. Each time the only line I get is there are NO updates available for all the Apps on my iPad. Usually, when I check these places, there are at least one a day. It's now been over a week, and I have yet to get any updates. I wonder if this is another bug in the latest iTunes update? Can't Update Apps Wrong ITunes Account Associated With Them
I have just a handful of applications that when I try to update the the app store app prompts me for a password to my other account which the apps were not purchased on. All the apps were validly purchased on the first account, but now the apps are associated with my second itunes account and I can't update them. I've gone into the app store app and set the account to my first account but that does nothing for the update, it keeps prompting me for my password for my second account. I need it to switch back to the first account for these few apps. What's odd is that every other app updates just fine and are associated with the correct account, except for just these few.

Update Apps Via A Windows PC Running ITunes?
I can see there are 2 updates for my apps.I went to do the updates via 3G and it won't let me due to the size of the files it tells me to connect to a PC or do it via WI FI.I connected the iPad to my windows PC and it syncs with iTunes fine and I can see all the apps but it's not downloading the 2 updates for the apps. how I update apps via a windows PC running iTunes ?

I am using an iPad2 with 5.0, iPhone3Gs with 5.0 and laptop uses Windows 7, iTunes 10.5. Recently I have had no problems updating my apps, but now on my iPad and iPhone, I get the message that I cannot connect to the iTunes store to update my current apps. I can install new apps. Get Itunes To Sync On Itunes Load But Not Open Itunes Everytime On Its Connect
Is there anyway to get itunes to sync on itunes load.. but not open itunes everytime the iphone is plugged in? what i have is a program that opens itunes once a file is converted to an mp4 and added to itunes. so i want it to sync on itunes open but i dont want it to load itunes automatically and sync once the ipad/iphone is plugged in (i have an htpc, it kind of annoying when itunes pops up.. i have the itunes loading on a scheduled task at 3AM when im not loading the machine.

Connect To The Internet After The Update To 4.2.1?
Never tried this Forum and thought to give it a go...because,I still have a problem to connect to the internet with my iPad after the update to 4.2.1 (had the same issues with the previous system)I am working in Ethiopia and use a USB-Dongle to establish the internet connection with my MacBook Pro and share the connection (System Preferences/Sharing/Internet Sharing) and it works perfectly well with my iPhone4 and colleagues computers and iPhones. My iPad however finds the network and has a good signal but as soon as I try to open the internet I have a window opening telling me I don't have internet access. Anybody has the same or a similar problem?Have tried to reset the network settings on the iPad, restarted it, created various networks with and without password restriction, removed and reinstalled the USB-Dongel but nothing worked. Could Not Connect To WiFi After 4.2.1 Update?
Like many other users, my iPad is giving me grief connecting to WiFi after the 4.2.1 update. It seems that there may be a 5 Ghz band issue with 4.2.1. At work, we switched to a new WIFi router using only the 5 GHz band and I could not connect after the 4.2.1 update. On the previous iPad OS I had no problems. At Home I have an Airport Extreme that is broadcasting on the 2.4 GHz band and no issues with the iPad under 4.2.1 or the old 3.2 iOS. At work, we tried running up the old router that uses the 2.4GHz bands and my iPad works fine on it. So it looks like either iOS 4.2.1 does not like the 5GHz band for WiFi. Those who are having issues, if you can switch to the 2.4GHZ bands try it to see if it solves your issues. If so report here to confirm or deny my findings. Information: iMac 20" dual Core 2.0 Mac OS X (10.6.5)

did my apple update yesterday afternoon. restarted and now won't connect to my home wifi. says unable to join the network? How do i fix it. I already did factory reset and a restore and didn't help at all. My service provider was no help and said to contact apple. Info: iPad 2, iOS 5.1.1

Can't Connect To Vodafone 3G After Update
After updating to iOS5.1 from 5.0.1 my iPad can no longer connect to a vodafone 3g network. It continually shows "No Service" or "Searching". Manually searching for a service provider only lists O2 or Orange - yet my iPhone right next to it will also list the vodafone connection. The sim in the iPad works fine in the iPhone, and the working sim in the iPhone doesn't work in the iPad. Since Apple will not allow a downgrade to 5.0.1 is there another fix for this "feature"!? After Update My ITunes - Message - Synced With Another ITunes Library
After doing the update my iTunes popped up the message " this iPad is synced with another iTunes library. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync this iTunes library." The weird thing is that there are 30 songs in the library that aren't mine. Mine were all lost. I used a different computer to sync my pad the first time and now the motherboard gave out so I have a new computer that I loaded another iTunes. It has same login etc as my first one. Any suggestions as to how I should answer the ? I can't seem to find the right place to pose this question to. No email address or phone #to call.

Can't Update Apps Nor Purchase New Apps
I've had my iPad now since last year August (2010). But just here recently, actually, yesterday, I changed my password for my Apple ID. Since than, I have not been able to make updates to the many apps I have on my iPad. I now can't even purchase a new app. I don't use a credit card to purchase, I use the iTunes gift cards. My address is the same and yet, just since changing the password, I can't update.

I have an older iMac. I just upgraded the RAM and the operating system. When I connect the iPad my photos opens but iTunes does not see the iPad.
