Cannot Send Mail Because The Server Rejected One Of The Recipient's Addresses

Jul 23, 2010

I have a rather annoying problem on my ipad with mail. Everything worked well till recently. When I enter mail I get a window that say: "Cannot Send Mail, the server rejected one of the recipient's addresses the message has been placed in your outbox" Only option is to say "yes" but when I say "yes" the message pops up again a second later. I can't do anything in mail.Would somebody know how to solved that? If you do thx to indicate precisely what to do (I'm not too familiar with the ipod....).

Cannot Send Mail - Rejected By Server?

Sep 3, 2011

I am running into a problem sending emails from my mail account on my ipad. I can receive, but not send. The account settings are correct, or I should say they match what is on my iphone (and they work on the iphone). I've gone to "advanced" under mail settings and changed the port to 110 and 25 (per other help forums), but neither works. The current setting is 995.It's a pop account and the ISP is 1and1.com.

IPad 2 :: Receives But Will Not Send Mail - Recipients Address Rejected By Server

Jun 4, 2014

I know that all the settings are correct as this email address works flawlessly on my Windows desktop and, as I say, the pad does receive mail. The message that I get is that the recipients address is rejected by the server. I have spent a long time on the phone to 1and1 with which company all our domains are registered and they cannot resolve the issue so short of ditching this iPad for something else.

"Recipient Was Rejected By Server" Error?

Sep 28, 2011

When using our iPad, we send mail through our own private business server. Occassionally, we get an error that saves CANNOT SEND MAIL, and then proceeds to say the "recipient was rejected by the server." I've tried resetting the iPad, closing all applications, even putzing around with the server information, to no avail.

This issue didn't start happening until we sync'd the iPad with the computer for contacts.

Downloading Mails From An Exchange 2010 Server - Error Message Is: "unable To Send Mail"

Jul 5, 2012

We have problems in downloading mails in iPad and iPhone from an Exchange 2010 Server.

The user is able to see mails in the preview panel but, when tapping to the mail, the following message appears:"this message is not been downloaded from server"

Additionally, even able to download at least an incomplete message, the account is not able to send mail

In this case the error message is: "unable to send mail".

So far all configuration and customisation matters seems to be fine both from server and device sides.
