Cannot Send Emails - Sender Address Rejected By Server
Apr 30, 2012
I have both iPhone and iPad that will not send emails when I am connected via wifi. Have tried three wifi networks. I get a message that says the sender address (my address) was rejected by the server.
I just bought the iPad for work and have trying to set my work email all day. Everything is correct from the information that I entered and getting pretty frustrated. "cannot send email" is all that I get. I can receive, but cant send.
I set up my email, and can receive, and read it on my ipad, but when I try to reply, I get the message "Cannot send mail, the recipient (address) was rejected by the server".When I try to reply using Webmail, I can't get the keyboard to show. Using Webmail (Earthlink) if I type in an address, it will go thru....
I know that all the settings are correct as this email address works flawlessly on my Windows desktop and, as I say, the pad does receive mail. The message that I get is that the recipients address is rejected by the server. I have spent a long time on the phone to 1and1 with which company all our domains are registered and they cannot resolve the issue so short of ditching this iPad for something else.
OK, I've got the dreaded 'one or more of the addresses was rejected by the server.' I've done everything in the support article, and have even deleted my email account on my iPad and re entered it.All was working fine when I got my iPad on the 28th, but yesterday all suddenly stops working... Has anyone any further suggestions?
I'm connected to a friend's Wi-Fi and have been unable to send emails. I get error message saying "Sender rejected by server". My IPAD2 is brand new and I haven't tried sending emails from my own home yet. I've tried the "reboot" solution and that did not work. Are there any other things I can try? This is really frustrating. BTW, I have Comcast and Gmail both set up on my IPAD with Comcast as the "default".
I am running into a problem sending emails from my mail account on my ipad. I can receive, but not send. The account settings are correct, or I should say they match what is on my iphone (and they work on the iphone). I've gone to "advanced" under mail settings and changed the port to 110 and 25 (per other help forums), but neither works. The current setting is 995.It's a pop account and the ISP is 1and1.com.
I have a rather annoying problem on my ipad with mail. Everything worked well till recently. When I enter mail I get a window that say: "Cannot Send Mail, the server rejected one of the recipient's addresses the message has been placed in your outbox" Only option is to say "yes" but when I say "yes" the message pops up again a second later. I can't do anything in mail.Would somebody know how to solved that? If you do thx to indicate precisely what to do (I'm not too familiar with the ipod....).
when replying to an email,I receive this message. It is a POP3 account.I've experienced this in the iPod touch and reset the touch,it worked.Tried the same in the iPad, no luck.I've checked and rechecked that the smtp address is correct.I can receive but not send.
I can't send email with my cox.net email account on my iPad. I have SMTP set up as smtp.east.cox.net, but it says the sender address is invalid. I have the same problem with my iPhone 3GS, but I can use the AT&T smtp server cwmx.com to send mail. Anyone have a fix for this? Information :iMac 2009 24 in., 3.06 GHz, 4g RAM, 1 Tb HD.Mac OS X (10.5.6)MB Alum 2.4gHz, 4g Ram, iPod 160G, iPhone 3GS 32G, Nano 8G, iTouch 32G.
For some reason my ipad won't send emails. It constantly tells me that the senders address is wrong. I have checked and checked and double checked those settings and all are correct. They are the same as on my iphone and home computer. There is no problem receiving email, just sending. I tried some of the suggestions from this site but was wondering if anyone out there had the same problem and if the fixed it and how?
Can't send email puts in outbox with message server does not recognise senders address and it is correct how can it be resolved? It happened recently using wifi on hols in USA but ok when I got home, but rejecting again, mail does inc photos.
On several sites to either purchase goods or enter competitions (John Lewis,Tech Radar,What Hi fi)my email address is not recognised as valid both my GMail and Ntlworld ,and so the iPad 2 has to be abandoned for a desktop pc.
I Cannot send email from my IPad. I get a box saying "message in outbox. Recipient rejected by the server". I have checked settings and can send successfully to same recipients from my computer and IPhone. I've switched off and restarted IPad and just been to my computer and checked I can get on web and send message ok from there.
Whenever I try to send emails when connected to 3G I get the above message and it sits in the outbox. It all works fine when connected to wifi. I've tried re entering the account details and turning the iPad off and on again but still no luck!It seemed strange to me that it only happens when connected to orange 3G.
After submitting my info I get: "Please validate highlighted address information and retry" The billing address label is in red. My address information is entered correctly. Does it have to match what is in my iTunes account? Which it does!Who do I have to call to sort this out? Apple or AT&T?
From time to time these appear in my inbox (dated 1/1/70). They can't be deleted because no radio button appears next to them in Edit mode. They seem to eventually disappear of thier own accord.how to prevent them and how to delete them?
When using our iPad, we send mail through our own private business server. Occassionally, we get an error that saves CANNOT SEND MAIL, and then proceeds to say the "recipient was rejected by the server." I've tried resetting the iPad, closing all applications, even putzing around with the server information, to no avail.
This issue didn't start happening until we sync'd the iPad with the computer for contacts.
Has anyone successfully eliminated the annoying "No Sender/No Subject" emails that come up mysteriously and can't be erased? I have tried to shut down the iPad two separate ways, but they still persistantly come back?
I have an enterprise WPA2 PEAP MSCHAPv2 wireless network. It allows access via 802.1x authentication using Radius (MS IAS Server) with certificates. I can join the network, enter credentials (that I can see work) and get the certificate. The problem is that I don't get an IP address. I get a 169. APIPA address. I tried to use a static IP address and that doesn't work either. I have connected various laptops, iPhones even a Dell Streak to this wireless network without issue. My iPad won't get an IP at all. There are plenty of addresses in the pool. The setup is a 3COM WX3008 wireless LAN controller and 9552 access points.Any ideas? I went through the articles on wireless settings and none of them help at all. I guess my next step is to wipe the iPad.Like I said... EVERYTHING else works, every other device we try is surfing just not the iPad.
I can receive emails on my ipad but can't send emails. My email is through godaddy.com for work. It's funny because I set my iPad up the same way as my iPhone and my iPhone works fine but my iPad doesn't. I'm getting the error message: The receipient email@example.com was rejected by the server.
