When the first iPad was released, I bought the 32GB version and after a while, I thought that it would have been better to buy the 16GB model, because I mainly used it for browsing or using apps, but not for putting movies on it. And I don't need to have all my songs on it.
Anyway, now I'm thinking about buying the 16GB iPad 2, but I wonder. Does GarageBand takes a lot of space when you use it a lot and compose many projects with it?I wonder if GarageBand creates sort of an mp3 file for each song you compose or does it play it live with kind of text files, if you see what I mean.
I'm a pretty experienced iPad/iPhone user, but this one has me baffled. It only seems to happen on my iPad (4th gen, 64gb, all latest patches). From time to time, when I'm using an app that uses the net (web, mail, Facebook, twitter), without warning the App Store opens up and the download page for Clash of Clans comes up.This doesn't seem to happen with any other product - that is, I'm not being barraged by ads for others software.
I have more than ample storage on my ipad 3 to download the tv series that I recently purchased but am getting an error message from stating I do not have enough storage. Can anyone provide information regarding this subject?
Ive had an iPad 2 16 GB since November and everything has been going great. That was until early June whe I started getting messages that I don't have enough space to download a new or even previously downloaded app. I would like to state that I have zero apps, movies, music or photos on my iPad not counting the previously installed ones. Now when I try and download something it says I don't have enough space and to go into settings and manage my storage in settings. I look and it isn't full and there isn't anything to manage. This is getting really annoying especially when I try and redownload a app I purchased along time ago mainly real racing 2 or GTA 3. Also sometimes it will start downloading then say there int enough space to finish even though there is. I really need help.
It seems like the number 1 problem is that I may not have enough space on my iPad. I personally don't feel like thats the problem; I have 4.0 GB available and the game is only 1.0 GB in size. Whenever I try to download the game, I get a message saying "You've already purchased this, so it will be donwloaded now at no additional charge." After pressing "OK", I see that the download has not yet started and the button to start downloading the app returns. What should I do? Also, I bought the game during its Free Week. I don't know if that matters but, whatever.
I have played the Angry bird space game and i love this game.so just want to know whether i can play this fantastic game on my iPad or not? If yes then from where should i download this game. Please provide information?
I just noticed when I randomly check my free space on my 1st gen iPad mini my mails are taking up about 200MB and this is the first time it happened to me unlike before it dont really take as much space it takes right now. My mails is almost 10,000 and its almost random mails from my newsletter subs and social networks like twitter and facebook. I really cant find time deleting them. I'm almost running out of memory on my mini.
I was trying to update Garage band App. For your help I want to inform you all that currently I have more than 4 GB of free space but when I try to update this App, It shows "Don't Have enough Storage Space" .What is the problem. Please tell me as I am encountering this problem from a long time.
I have 32gig iPad with approx 16 gig of programs, pictures, audio files. I recently tried to upgrade a couple of programs and I received a out storage space memory message.I connected to iTunes and confirmed I only had 16 gig of programs etc But I now have a 16 gig OTHER file.I have looked for days online for a explanation why and have found nothing that talks directly to this problem. I believe it is some kind of cache file and from what I have read deleting the program that created it will delete the Other file but how do you know what program created it? I have tried re-syncing, re-booting, just about every suggestion for fixing an iPad or iPhone problem there is with no luck. Except a restore. Is there a way to delete this Other file without doing a restore? What caused this file to grow to the size of all of my available storage space? How do I determine what program did this so I can take steps to prevent it from happening again? What is the meaning of life?............Oh sorry I got carried away.
I love my iPad. Works great! Have had zero problems with it and use it several hours each day. However, I am running out of room for application icon space or the desktop. I can visualize using up all 11 pages in a couple of months as I add more stuff. I have heard that Apple may add folders and sub folders or additional pages to the next OS release. Anybody know what their plans "really are?" Is it just to be OS 4 that is in the new iPhone release or are they going to add stuff that is iPad unique as well?
an alert pops up only after the event is due. Can I configure this for early warning some where?
Also, when I write an event into the calendaron the road, it appears in red, but does not sync back to make the entry appear in Outlook 2007. When I add the entry to Outlook I have delete my entry made on the road.
is this how it is or am i missing something important about calendars?
Purchased a new iPad2 last night from WalMart. Everything has transferred over from my iPad1 via the iCloud just perfectly. However, I am now getting a consistent iTunes pop-up for a password that has iTunes user ID I have never seen before.
I am assuming that there is an app somewhere on the device that is wanting to update that is associated with this ID I have never seen before. This leads me to ask a couple questions:
This is really frustrating, and is yet another quirk introduced with 4.2. Every time I open a new window, the Google field pops open its Recent Searches field and gets in the way. This happens whether or not there are any recent searches at all.
As I travel and need to connect to HotSpots and WiFis. The WiFi Prompt screen no longer pops up for ageeing to terms. So I'm left "connected" but no internet...?? Went to Apple store in L.A. and was told to "Restore" which I did, it did not resolve the non-connect.
My ipad works fine on my home network but then I try to connect at school (rutgers university, bluesocket web based login system) an odd connecting dialog comes up and then a browswer window pops up from the wireless settings panel. When I try to log in the go button does nothing and if I close the window it drops the connection.I can log on just fine on my ipod touch.
AppStore app keeps popping up on my iPad 3 without any prompt while I am using Safari on it. Apart from that, it takes me to the page of a game automatically. How can I avoid these issues with the app store?
I have a stock ipad 2...when i go on safari this thing pops up saying Authentication Required, then it asks for my username and password I typed it in and it won't go through! So I just keeps asking me for my username and password! I don't know what to do I used the username and password that I use for the app store! I have tried shutting my iPad down for a couple minutes then restarting it but that hasn't worked!! Sent from my iPad using iPF
