View 3 RepliesWhen I try to access App Store on my iPad 2 running on IOS 6, I found that the language is changed to French from English. But, the iPad settings still shows the language as English. How can I get back the English language?
View 1 RepliesI recently opened a book in my iBook library to continue reading it. The language has changed from english to another language. I have no idea how it happened nor how to change the language back to English.
View 9 RepliesI tried using the "iOS: How to change the language when it's set to one you don't understand" guide.
Info:
iPad 2, iOS 7.1.1
I changed the language from english to arabic on mini iPad by accident and I don't know how to change it back

View 5 RepliesAm vacationing in Spain, and I am considering picking up an iPad from the local Apple Store. The question is, will this be hard-fixed to run in Spanish, or will I be able to switch it to English language settings when I initialize it, or when I sync it with my iTunes. I currently own an iPhone 4, if that makes any difference whatsoever...?Information:iPad Spain
View 3 RepliesThe language is set to English, but when I go into itunes or the apple store, the language is Japanese. I don't seem to be able to change this. my Japanese is not perfect t but it is reasonably decent and I can't see anything in iTunes or apple store where you can change the language. Also, I have not even set up the iTunes account yet - would it be a good idea to set it up as if I was based in the UK to ensure that the language is English? I have a credit card connected to a UK billing address so that would not be a problem.
View 1 RepliesSince upgrading to iOS 4.2, the name of my iPad, as held by my Apple ID account, has changed from "my name's iPad" to just "iPad".This is relatively inconsequential in the grand scheme of things but it's still kinda irritating, especially when the "Locate my..." app still shows my name against my iPhone but not my iPad.I've searched for this on both this forum and through Google but not found any other references to it.
View 3 RepliesI used to read on my laptop, among other things, and listen to a lot of music on my iPhone. Since the ipad came along I've started distributing my tasks differently. When i want to just read or lurk, I whip out my iPad. I have also stopped carrying my computer with me to use when i am lying down. My laptop just sits at my desk now.
If I'm going to be doing a lot of typing, including IM'ing, I use my Mac. I am not entirely used to the iPad keyboard just yet and the auto correct bugs me to no end. I don't have the luxury of looking away while I type because some word might get replaced with something I didn't enter in the first place. I can do this on my Mac just fine.
I've got 4,2 loaded onto my ipad and if I go into General Settings>>About it confirms this with Version 4.2.1(8c148), BUT the only visible change is Game Centre being added to my desktop?
Nothing else has changed -there's no multi-tasking etc. I've tried rebooting -no difference. What is going on?

The spellcheck/autochecker has spellchecked and changed my name, so that when I send an email, the recipient sees that the email is from my autocorrected name, not my correct one! I've tried turning off spellcheck and autocorrect
View 2 Replies4.2.1 Update changed the action of the Fixed/Unfixed On/Off Switch!I can no longer fix the screen orientation as desired. It now functions as a Mute/Unmute switch. The Volume toggle switch below this switch still works as before. How can I get the normal function back? It is a pain to be reading in bed and have the page orientation flipping back and forth randomly.
View 4 Repliesit's come with 3.2.2 - do I upgrade to 4.2? or should I stick with 3.2.2? i've heard of the orientation lock getting changed. i kinda like the idea of it with the switch hence wanting to stick with 3.2.2.
should i upgrade then? is 4.2 faster and better?
Is there a way to change the iBooks Cover on the iPad ?
View 5 RepliesMy wife seen an IPAD the other day and it contained special learning program - which our disabled son can use. However, his fine motor skills are low. Vision fine motor skills of a 3-5 year old. With the iPad, is there a method to "slow down" its motion controls? For example on iMac, one can change its mouse and scroll sensitivity. Can enabling larger Mouse Pointer, slowing downits "motion / user controls" be done within the IPad device as well???
View 4 RepliesJust updated to 4.2 and maybe its just my eyes today, but it seems in Safari the fonts look slightly different, smaller , thinner, more pixelated?
View 7 RepliesMy wallpaper was changed. Also keyboard clicks turned off. When I set them to on they still do not work! Yes, I do have volume turned up.

My Ipad is stuck and cannot be changed or turned off. How can I shut it down, and reboot?
Info:iPad, iOS 5.1.1, I can not use or turn off my iPad.
This morning my "punctuation keyboard" has altered. ie., my dash in the "A" position is now a tilde, my slash in the "S" position is a vertical line. Checked setting, hard re-start, no change. And, the keyboard is fine while I'm typing here,
View 1 RepliesI changed my passcode this morning, and now I can't remeber the new passcode.
