I just bought the new iPad and have found that whilst I can connect to wifi, if I disconnect from the network it doesn't remember my password. This is really annoying and has left me quite disappointed. I have tried a system reset and restore but it hasn't worked.
New iPad 64GB Wifi. Works with WiFi at work, but with my home computer (Dell) and DSL (Verizon Westell 7500), I get the "Incorrect password" for my network error. The iPad finds the network, it just won't connect. I've tried it with the iPad on the same table as the router. Have tried numerous times, so I'm sure I'm typing the password correctly. Have rebooted everything. Fujitsu tablet (also Windows 7) works fine.
I just purchased new iPad and am at home attempting to connect to our router wifi network. The iPad keeps kicking us out and telling us we are using the wrong password. We have tried changing the networks, i.e. WPA, WPA2, WPA2 Enterprise, etc. and it won't connect.
My Ipad pops off my home wireless network often, which is annoying (no similar problem with laptops). More annoying is that it sometimes wants me to reenter the password to the wireless network, which is something long and unrememberable. If the Ipad remembers it sometimes, shouldn't it always remember it?
My iPad is hooking to wifi at home just fine...rarely drops. I am happy. Yesterday I had new tires put on and the Firestone guy says...sure we have wifi and it's open...go for it.So I went to set it and it showed I was on their network but nothing would connect. Safari or email.I looked at the chart ,of network into in the wifi set up and the fields were all blank...no IP addy numbers, etc
I have just returned from holiday in italy where i was using the hotels wi fi, used flight mode on the plane home, got home and my i pad still thinks it is in rome (time) and will not connect to my home network?
I had some work done on my home network, which affected all my wireless devices. I was able to get everything up and running, but the Ipad. I have a different type of encryption now and can't connect to my Ipad. My nephew, who did the work, wants me to delete the current wifi and then start over so it will see the current wifi network. The network that is showing is my new network name, but I type in the password and I get an unable to join/dismiss message. I have tried to reset network settings, but I still see the same network. My nephew won't be back until later in the week, I miss the wifi.
had my ipad working fine for the last six months and then today I was surfing on my home network with no issues then it went flat now I have recharged it but I cannot reconnect it says I have full signal but everytime I open safari it says it cannot open the page. I have rebooted it several times and reset all settings but nothing seems to be working. Any ideas?
My iPad is not connecting to my home wi-fi network. It was fine up until the latest update it seems. I have restarted everything (iPad and network) and nothing seems to work. My iPhone is connecting just fine to my home network.
My iPad II won't locate my home wi-fi network. It worked in the morning, then I took it to a meeting and used their wi-fi. Once I brought it home, it would not reconnect as it generally does. I have shut it down and started it up - no luck. I have connected it to the computer - no luck. What can I do??
I was given an iPad as a present in the UK and now I'm home in Brussels I can't get it to connect to my home wifi, despite it working perfectly well and the wifi being connecting to the laptop and other devices all okay. I know the password I enter is correct but it still won't let me 'join' anything.
I just got an iPad 2 wifi and want to allow it to access my wifi network which is WPA2 protected. I have a complex passphrase on the WPA2 to keep my network safe. How do I get the passphrase onto my iPad so I can paste it into the password box to access my network? Typing the password in is my last resort being that it's a long complex password and it would be far easier to cut and paste it in like I do with my computers. Can I do it through iTunes?
I can send and receive e-mails when connected to my home wifi network but when I connect to another wifi network or the 3G network I can only receive e-mails and get error messages when trying to send e-mails.
