I didn't know where to post this, but I can't seem to find my videos on my Facebook app. I shared a video so I could locate a video on my profile and play it. It only plays once every 3 or 4 time try to load it.
Every time, I try to upload either photos or videos from iPhoto or Camera Roll in my iPad 3 running on IOS 6 to Facebook, it says “there is no facebook account and you need to register your account after going to settings page”. Facebook used to load into my iPad and I have checked my account through it. Therefore, I am sure that my iPad do recognize my facebook account. In what way can I make my iPad upload the photos or videos successfully?
When I try to play videos on Facebook through Safari on my iPad 2, it shows black video and says ‘need flash player to play the video’. I was able to watch those videos two days before. I don’t know what happened now; can anyone help me locate the issue?
I use Friendly for Facebook, and cannot find a way within that app to upload a video from my iPad2. I tried going to Facebook using Safari, but that won't let me upload either. I just want to post a video of my daughters' Birthday, for family back home.
I'm having no trouble playing videos from Facebook on my iP4 running IOS 4.3.Now that that is out of the way, why can't I play videos from Facebook in Safari on the iPad? It has worked in the past, but I can't figure out why it isn't working now. I thought updating to IOS 4.3 might help things, but it made no difference. I get a still image, but no play controls. I tried turning off the pop-up blocker, but that made no difference. I tried clearing the cache, clearing the cookies, rebooting, etc., etc. all to no avail.
2 days ago I suddenly was unable to watch any of the videos on Facebook, when accessing FB thro Safari. Prior to this I was able to watch these videos. The video is either black or says I need flash player, 2 days ago I could watch these same videos. I can see the videos on the FB app on my Ipad 1. But then I'm not able to quickly locate a video I've posted, as videos are not listed on my photo page, I have to scroll through my or a friend's timeline to locate the video I wanted to watch again. I've turned the Ipad off and on, and have restarted safari, but no luck.
Starting yesterday embedded youtube videos within Facebook are too wide, meaning they cover up some of the options related to the link. I can't see the comments links etc. Why is this occuring? I have logged in on my wifes ipad and its fine. The difference is she is using Safari 4.0 and I have Safari 5.0 and an idpad 2. It works on our desktop computer in both IE 8 and Firefox as well. Thoughts?
I have a new iPad 2. When trying to view videos through the browser (Safari), and the video requires Flash to view, I am unable to view the video. There is no download for Flash Player and I cannot find out a way to view ALL videos.
I converted few movies using Handbrake with iPad presets. I was able to import them into iTunes and when I connected iPad to sync I went to Movies tab and selected "Sync Movies" option then selected movies I wanted to transfer. It took a while to copy them over and I KNOW they are somewhere on iPad since my available disk space dropped accordingly.
when I open Videos app on iPad I can not see them! I can not see any categories other then TV Shows displaying, couple of cartoons I purchased in iTunes. I can not find a menu to switch to a different category.
i'm round and round to find the best solution to backup my ipad photos and videos. I wanted to use something where i could upload my photos and videos and being able to delete it from my camera roll, but being able to access and see it on some cloud service that wouldn't take space from my ipad available storage. Is this possible? For instance, can i use something like box.net app to upload and only access my files with that app (but making sure that the files are online only, not taking space from my ipad storage)?
I recently sync'd some photos to my iPad including a video from my camera. Windows showed the videos format as Quicktime. I did not receive an error during the sync and I enabled Include Videos. The video does not show up in my Gallery. It also does not show in my Videos app. I have two theatrical movies in there and only the Movies tab.Any idea where my movie might be? Have any of you transferred camera movies to the iPad? Where do you view them?
I have noticed that Safari on my iPad will crash out while I am checking my Facebook. It usually happens when I reach posts that are about 12-14 hours old. I tried clearing my cache (thinking that might be responsible), but it didn't seem to help. Is it possible that I am running into some sort of wall as far as Safari's buffer is concerned? Anyone else having a similar problem?

When the ipads came out there was an app called I believe Ultimate Facebook and it was withdrawn right away because of conflict with Facebook. Anyway an app called ultimate has been approved and it is pretty good. I believe it is the same app with the requirements Facebook necessitated. If you are a Facebook fan you might like it.
it seems most people use Facebook. Anyone care to speculate which version (Facebook mobile app versus full fledge Facebook Safari) will be more iPad friendly? I use the mobile version on my iPhone but times it can be buggy and some features do not work. I would rather use Facebook via Safari than via the app but will really know in 3 weeks.
If I walk away from the router (Apple Airport Extreme) with the iPod, the signal strength gradually goes from max (3 "bars") to min (just a dot) in about 75 ft.
If I walk back towards the router, the signal strength indicator gradually comes back up to 3 bars.
With the iPad, if I do the same thing, the signal goes from max to min suddenly, not gradually, and it does that at less than half the distance of the iPod. After just a short while at min, it then drops the Wifi signal entirely.
Also, with the iPad, with the signal strength indicator at min, if I walk back towards the router, it never comes back up to max, but stays at min.
The router doesn't need new firmware. I also played with the display brightness setting (as suggested by Apple), but of course (is it April 1st???), that didn't make any difference.

New iPad user here (wonderful device). I haven't been able to yet find how large the book files are. I can see the file size on every other app before downloading but not the books. I'm on a pretty small daily download limit and need to know approximately how many books I can download.
