It (jailbroken) Won't Sync Bought Apps
Jan 8, 2011I've got a iPad as a present and the first thing i decided to do was jailbreak it using Spirit etc etc.Now it works fine if i just download apps etc and sync them through iTunes but when i buy apps they wont sync.
The app in question is "Midori", a Japanese dictionary.
iPad OS: 3.2
iTunes version: 9.1
It will start syncing and immediately stop saying its completed, but when i look at my iPad theres no Midori there. No error msg or anything.

Sep 3, 2010I have a big problem. My ipad do not sync the apps that i downloaded on the ipad to my computer. I have tryed to reinstall itunes on the computer, that dident help. i have autorized it and unautorized it like 10 times that dosent work either.i have tryed to take off the auto sync and do it manual from right click on the ipad and from the file meny, that dosent work either.I tryed to delete a bought app but that dident help.when i try to sync the bought apps it starts and stops in the same moment, no message no nothing. when i go to the apps i itunes its a empty folder...

Sep 3, 2010Is anyone having problems with drinkmalk in stanza? I was able to get several books but now it's not working. I can get books through other stanza catalogs but not drinkmalk, I get a timed out error or no internet connection. For the latter I see my wifi strength signal drop out, don't know why. My wife has no problems using her iPod on the same wifi here at home. I've deleted, reselected, rebooted and am out of ideas. Drinkmalk host not much help so far.

May 14, 2010I have an iPad and an iPhone. There are a number of iPhone apps that I don't want installed on my iPad. I have tried to do this two ways.
1) In the "Apps" tab in the iPad device on iTunes, I have unchecked the apps that I don't want installed. This works fine the first time I sync, but the next time I sync, iTunes forgets my checks/unchecks and I need to uncheck the unwanted apps all over again. Pretty tedious for about 40 unwanted apps.
2) I allow all the apps to sync to the iPad and I then manually delete each one from the iPad by doing the press-hold-jiggle-delete-rate app sequence. This works for 1 or 2 syncs, but at some point, iTunes will forget and will reinstall all those unwanted apps all over again.I can't delete the apps from iTunes, because I still want them to be installed on my iPhone.

Also if you download xxx application(s) will going into iTunes and clicking update apps will they update?

Apr 5, 2010I've gone into iTunes and deleted a bunch of iPhone apps from my iPad several times now... itunes tells me it's backing up my iPad, and when it finishes it puts all the deleted apps right back on the iPad. I've tried it five times.

Sep 25, 2010i connected my iPad to my G5 iTunes, and went to sleep, because I knew sync last s forever and a day, especially because I bought lots a TV Seasons that needed to be backuped and synced.Next Morning I got the message that my ipads memory was filled 109 %.After disconnecting It behaves very slow and after swith on and off it crashed. I started it again and after about 5 Minutes I got access. First I deleted a huge file from my Good Reader library to have enough storage again then I looked what's up.First I saw that obviously the g5 tried to sync all my photos to the iPad. That was not my setting. I Synced a few times before, and got only the past few events synced... like I set it in iTunes.

Apr 9, 2010I registered and synced the iPad initially to my MBP17". Seemed to work successfully (though some movies that play on my iPhone did not transfer).Then downloaded on iPad iBook, Winnie, and a couple of Project Gutenberg books. Also purchased and downloaded on iPad the Pages app, downloaded iPad versions of Kindle, NYT, NPR, and other news apps. After using the iPad with these new apps for several hours, and reorganizing the iPad apps icons, attempted to sync with the MBP again. All iPad apps except for Kindle disappeared, and the iTunes application seemed confused as to removing and keeping the apps. None of the new apps, except Kindle appear in the list. And I've received no email notices of the purchase of the apps from the AppStore. At one point, using the iPad, the Appstore noted correctly the set of applications I had installed, including Pages. Now it has lost all knowledge.

Nov 14, 2010I have bought a few apps on my iPad, however I haven't synced them with iTunes before.
I have transfered them to my iTunes, however under the apps tab, when i tick "sync all apps" it says "all existing apps and their data on my iPad will be replaced by apps from the library"
I have the same apps on my iPad as i do in my iTunes library, but does that mean I will loose all my save data on my iPad?

Mail Keeps Reloading Being Deleted And A Sync Is Done
Sep 1, 2010Mail on iPad that has been read and deleted will reappear when a sync is done. (The mail has also been read on Mac Mail.) If I would happen to sync multiple times in that day, the previously deleted mail will show back up again on the iPad. Mail on the server is only deleted with Mac Mail and that is after one day, not immediate. iPad does not initiate a server delete by choice as mail archives are kept on the Mac Mail.This is really annoying and time consuming when there might be 50 or more legitimate emails to deal with. To delete is either a tap/slide/tap to delete or trash can/confirm delete. That is a lot of tapping

Nov 20, 2010If I delete an email message on my ipad, I have to delete it again on outlook e-mail and vice versa. Everything else in outlook is synced so that if I make changes to let's say my calendar it is synced on both ipad and outlook. But I can't sync the messages I've deleted.

Aug 19, 2010I recently got an iPad, and I'm trying to put a movie on it. I've put the movie into iTune's library, and clicked 'sync'. But, once it's all finished, the movie isn't there.
Windows Explorer tells me the extension is .mp4, the file type is MPEG-4 (I haven't the foggiest what the difference is). It plays in iTunes, and the iPad's specs tell me .mp4 files should work fine... but it doesn't get put on the iPad.
I have another movie file that gets put on just fine, and it's also a .mp4 MPEG-4 thing. I used 'get info' in iTunes to, well, get info on the two movies:

Bit rate: 346 - 135
Profile: Low complex - low complex
Channels: Multi - Stereo
